Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church, told an “inter-faith” gathering that “every religion is a way to arrive at God.” The statement came in the Singapore Catholic Junior College.

He further clarified “There are different languages to arrive at God but God is God for all. But my God is more important than your god, is that true? There is only 1 God & each of has a language to arrive at God. Sikh, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, they are different paths.”

Addressing an inter-religious meeting of young people in Singapore just before departing for his return flight to Rome, Pope Francis turned to one of the central themes of his pontificate – inter-religious dialogue.

“One of the things that struck me about all of you here is your ability to engage in inter-religious dialogue, and this is very important,” he told the crowd, assembled in Singapore’s Catholic Junior College.

Notwithstanding any comments to the contrary, the Catholic Church has consistently and clearly taught that it is the only true Church, the Body of Christ (Eph 1:22), and it exercises the charge given by Christ to spread the Gospel to all nations and to bring souls into the Church (Mark 16).

‘Every religion’ reaches God

Leaving aside his prepared speech and speaking without a script {transcript subsequently published here}, Francis instead spoke chiefly on dialogue between religions, having just taken questions from a Catholic, a Sikh, and a Hindu.

The meeting’s widely varied mix of creeds represents Singapore’s status as one of the most diverse religious nations in the world. Focusing on this, Francis urged that no religion be given priority but that individuals instead focus on parity between beliefs:

If we start to fight amongst ourselves and say “my religion is more important than yours, my religion is true, yours is not,” where will that lead us? Where?

It’s okay to discuss [between religions].

Continuing, the Pope declared that each religion is a means to attain God, stating:

Every religion is a way to arrive at God. There are different languages to arrive at God, but God is God for all. And how is God God for all? We are all sons and daughters of God. But my god is more important than your god, is that true?

There is only one God and each of us has a language to arrive at God. Sikh, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, they are different paths.

The Pope’s words were warmly welcomed by those present in the hall, which included leaders and representatives of Singapore’s many religious bodies and the large papal retinue.

Courage to pursue religious harmony

Francis also dedicated time warning of the dangers of “bullying” and urging young people to have “courage” to move forward in inter-religious dialogue.

In order to have inter-religious dialogue between youth it takes courage, because youth is really the time when there is courage in our lives. But you can also have this courage and use it for things that really don’t help you, or you can use that courage to move forward and engage in dialogue.

Engaging in a discussion with the selected young people on the stage about the evils of bullying, Francis urged that to “move past” differences “helps with inter-religious dialogue.”

“You can build and move forward with inter-religious dialogue when you respect each other, and this is very important.”

READ: Bishop Schneider: There is no divine positive will or natural right to the diversity of religions

He encouraged them to build a “safe space” where they could discuss their differences without fear of bullying. “Because dialogue is something that creates a path, a way,” Francis said.

He closed the meeting by calling on all present to “pray for each other” in silence. The Pope did not give a formal blessing – echoing his actions in Indonesia – but instead vocally called for God’s blessings on those present:

Let’s pray for each other … May God bless all of us. And as time passes and you become older, especially as you become grandparents, pass this on to the children and grandchildren.

God bless you and pray for me, but pray in favor, not against [me].

Following the conclusion of Francis’ comments, the young people assembled made an inter-religious pledge, committing to promote religious dialogue and harmony:

We the future generation pledge to be a beacon of unity and hope by promoting cooperation and friendships that nurture the harmonious co-existence between people of diverse beliefs.

Speaking to a similar inter-religious gathering of youth in Indonesia only last week, Francis said “Here, you are from diverse religions, but we have only one God, He is only one.”

Catholicism and salvation

Pope Francis has made numerous inter-religious statements and collaborated in formal documents on the matter – notably the controversial 2019 Abu Dhabi document and the Istiqlal Declaration, signed just days ago in Indonesia. The Abu Dhabi text has been described as seeking to “overturn the doctrine of the Gospel” due to its promotion of equality of religions in a form of “fraternity.”

However, the much-loved and widely respected approved catechism, the Baltimore Catechism, reminds readers simply that “The one true Church established by Christ is the Catholic Church.” {Q. 152}

READ: EXCLUSIVE: Bishop Schneider says Vatican is betraying ‘Jesus Christ as the only Savior of mankind’

Catholic doctrine teaches that this fact is knowable since the Catholic Church alone has the four marks of being the true Church: one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic.

As a result, the Church teaches that all souls must “belong” to the Church to be saved: “All are obliged to belong to the Catholic Church in order to be saved.” {Baltimore Catechism Q 166.}

This teaching of “Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus” (no salvation outside the Church), has been increasingly rejected by modernizing activists in recent years, yet remains valid and unchanging in the Church’s teaching.

Pope Leo XIII pronounced it clearly in his 1824 encyclical letter Ubi Primum:

It is impossible for the most true God, who is Truth Itself, the best, the wisest Provider, and the Rewarder of good men, to approve all sects who profess false teachings which are often inconsistent with one another and contradictory, and to confer eternal rewards on their members. For we have a surer word of the prophet, and in writing to you We speak wisdom among the perfect; not the wisdom of this world but the wisdom of God in a mystery.

By it we are taught, and by divine faith we hold one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and that no other name under heaven is given to men except the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth in which we must be saved. This is why we profess that there is no salvation outside the Church.

The Vatican’s 1949 decree from the Holy Office instructed bishops charged with promoting true ecumenism to draw souls to the Church, and that they must always teach the fullness of the Church’s priority:

By no means is it permitted to pass over in silence or to veil in ambiguous terms the Catholic truth regarding the nature and way of justification, the constitution of the Church, the primacy of jurisdiction of the Roman Pontiff, and the only true union by the return of the dissidents to the one true Church of Christ.

The Catholic Church notes that it is possible for those remaining outside the Church “through no grave fault of their own” and who are somehow unaware that the Church is the true Church, to still be saved “by making use of the graces which God gives them.” However, salvation in these cases of “invincible ignorance” is not found through other churches, but is through the Catholic Church as the channel of grace, as taught by St. Thomas Aquinas.

The DNC-controlled Health and Human Services (HHS) Department has released a newsletter on suicide prevention targeting “LGBTQIA2S+ Youth” that claims “Lack of access to gender affirming care may have negative effects on LGBTQIA2S+ youth, including exacerbating gender dysphoria, creating feelings of social isolation and depression, and contributing to suicidal thoughts and behaviors.”

In rooted, plain terms, our government is pushing for the sterilization, mutilation, and chemical poisoning of our children as a “cure” to suicide. The “cure” for a child to avoid killing themselves is to hack their private parts to smithereens, with girls getting their breasts cut off as well, then become dependent on high doses of dangerous hormone drugs that cost thousands of dollars a month.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is using “Suicide Prevention Awareness Month” this September to push the lie that transgender medical interventions stop children from committing suicide.

The Daily Signal obtained a newsletter the HHS sent on Friday sharing resources on suicide prevention for “LGBTQIA2S+ Youth.” The resources promote the idea that LGBTQ+ children are likely to commit suicide if they don’t receive irreversible gender transition procedures, like surgeries and hormone replacement regimens.

“Lack of access to gender affirming care may have negative effects on LGBTQIA2S+ youth, including exacerbating gender dysphoria, creating feelings of social isolation and depression, and contributing to suicidal thoughts and behaviors,” one of the linked resources reads. “Access to culturally responsive, sensitive, and affirming services for LGBTQIA2S+ youth, particularly healthcare services, has the power to improve health outcomes for this population.”

But an April study revealed that transgender surgeries actually increase the risk of suicide. The study concluded: “Individuals who underwent gender-affirming surgery had a 12.12-fold higher suicide attempt risk than those who did not.”

The significant majority of children with gender dysphoria children grow out of it by the time they reach adulthood, a 15-year study from the Netherlands of 2,700 children reveals.

“Despite growing evidence that so-called gender-affirming care is harmful, HHS continues to spread the dangerous lie that children will kill themselves if their self-proclaimed identity is not ‘affirmed,’” Rachel Morrison, who directs the Ethics and Public Policy Center’s HHS Accountability Project, told The Daily Signal.

The long-gone “woke” Church of England further signaled to God and the world their rebellion from God by announcing plans to strike the word “church” from their vocabulary, as “church” is not reflective of “modern audiences” or “the new normal.” One Vicar, Dr. Giles Fraser, is suggesting the word “church” be replaced with “new things.”

The Church of England has apparently joined the pronoun movement. Of course, none of this should come as a surprise to anyone, but it is still a shame. According to a report in the Telegraph, the Church has decided to stop using the word “church” in order to be more modern. I don’t know what word they will use. Lodge? Club? Association? The Loyal Order of Water Buffalos?

By all indications, the church is keeping its official moniker as “The Church of England.” That is understandable; that is a lot of letterhead to throw out and logos to redesign. From a cost-benefit standpoint, it makes sense. But going forward, churches will be referred to as “communities.”

According to a study by the Centre for Church Planting Theology and Research, an examination of six of eleven dioceses in the Anglican Communion, churches are increasingly dropping the word when exploring the idea of creating new congregations. They are also known as churches, by the way.

When discussing new “church plants,” which is a fairly common practice in the U.S., none of the 900 of the new churches started by the Church of England used the word “church plant.”

The report’s author, Rev Dr. Will Foulger, vicar of St Nicholas in Durham, found that six of the 11 dioceses used the language of “worship” in their main descriptor of new church projects, two used “congregation,” and seven used “community.”

In another blow to free speech, an Ohio court just granted Olentangy Local Schools of Ohio the power to punish students for not “acknowledging” the preferred pronouns of other students. The move is seen as a blow to religious and philosophical liberty, as students of various beliefs will be forced to deny the conviction of their beliefs (such as there is only man and woman, and humans are born into their sex, which is the same as gender).

The ruling will be appealed, but while it is being adjudicated, students already starting school this year will be subject to this forced expression, whether it aligns with their beliefs or not. Circuit Court Judge Alice Batchelder wrote in her dissent that the first amendment actually DOES prohibit the school “from compelling students to use speech that conveys a message with which they disagree, namely that biology does not determine gender.”

Another victory for Big Brother. A court ruled last week that an Ohio school district could punish students who intentionally “misgender” LGBTQ individuals. There’s nothing like crushing the First Amendment and outlawing reality in one fell swoop.

Ohio’s Olentangy Local Schools can now penalize students who “intentionally” misgender, thanks to the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, as The Columbus Dispatch reports. Those confused individuals who think they can be transgender despite biology and who claim that there are dozens of genders are now a protected and favored class. Rest in peace, First Amendment — and parental rights.

As Circuit Judge Alice Batchelder wrote in her dissent from the court’s majority ruling, the First Amendment does (in a world not gone mad on wokeness) stop the district “from compelling students to use speech that conveys a message with which they disagree, namely that biology does not determine gender.” Parents Defending Education (PDE) had argued in a legal filing that the schools’ policy violated the First and Fourteenth Amendments and even penalized students for activity on their devices when not at school. Such LGBTQ policies attack both freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

The judges on the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals based in Cincinnati, said Monday in a 2-1 decision that the district did not compel speech in a way that violates students’ First Amendment rights, upholding a previous decision from a U.S. district court judge. Last year, the U.S. district court denied a preliminary injunction request filed by Parents Defending Education, which would have required the Olentangy Local School District to immediately change its harassment policies for students, The Dispatch previously reported.

The Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony included a live re-enacting of Jesus’ Last Supper with Jesus being replaced by a woman and the disciples being replaced by drag queens and even a small child in yellow at the front. The backlash was severe, so they apologized immediately and sought to scrub it from existence.

The backlash continued, so efforts were made to try to walk back what they intended, with claims it was a Dionysian bacchanal, not the Last Supper, but social media accounts from members of the tableau betray that narrative. The symbol of the Olympic Games, itself a symbol of unity, opening with such an overtly divisive anti-Christian display isn’t lost to those of who pay attention to other worldwide trends. Woe to be in the hands of an angry God.

Olympics Opening Ceremony Mocks Christianity With a Drag Last Supper

I’m tired of people mocking Christians.

I’m Catholic, but the Olympics opening ceremony should tick off any Christian.

Of course these people ridicule us because they knew we wouldn’t cut off their heads.

I’d tell the French, “Now do Mohammed,” but they already did. Muslims shot up Charlie Hebdo over its cartoon of Mohammed.

The ceremony mocked Christians with a drag Last Supper, which takes place on Holy Thursday during Holy Week.

Holy Thursday is one of the most important days in the Catholic calendar.

Catholics do not have Mass again until the Easter Vigil. On Good Friday, we have a liturgy.

Organizers for the Paris Olympics issued an apology to people who were left offended by an LGBTQ parody of the Last Supper during the opening ceremony.

Thomas Jolly, the artistic director for the Olympics opening ceremony, explained that he had “wanted to send a message of love” and inclusion, and did not have intentions “to be subversive.”

“My wish isn’t to be subversive, nor to mock or to shock,” Jolly told the Associated Press. “Most of all, I wanted to send a message of love, a message of inclusion and not at all to divide.”

In response to the parody of the Last Supper, the French Catholic Church’s Bishops’ Conference of France released a statement that the ceremony had “included scenes in which Christianity was mocked and ridiculed.”

“This ceremony unfortunately included scenes in which Christianity was mocked and ridiculed, which we deeply regret,” the organization said in its statement.

… Stevenson’s lengthy thread featured numerous examples of Butch seeming to endorse the “Olympic Jesus” interpretation.

For instance, Butch shared an image from another Instagram account that showed the Olympics scene at the top of the page and da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” at the bottom.

The words “Oh Yes! Oh Yes! The New Gay Testament!” accompanied the image.

In short, the official explanation does not square with a key performer’s interpretation.

“The posts from Butch suggest – in contrast to the Olympics’ statement – that is was the Last Supper,” Stevenson wrote.

King Charles III officially opened the new session of parliament on Tuesday, setting out the government’s planned programme of new laws.

His Majesty outlined 40 new draft laws which Sir Keir Starmer says will ‘take the brakes off Britain’.

Among them was proposed legislation for a ‘no loopholes’ fully inclusive ban on conversion therapy.

The move comes amid fears that the law risks criminalising concerned parents and Christian practices, such as prayer.

The proposed ban was initially raised under the previous Conservative government, who faced criticism for not bringing the legislation forward.

The Department of Defense has informed the public this past Wednesday, July 10, that Pro-Life groups are terrorist organizations. They revealed this information at Fort Liberty’s Directorate of Emergency Services.

Citizen journalist Sam Shoemate on X revealed this fact in X posts where he said “An anti-terrorism brief was held on Fort Liberty (Bragg) today where they listed several Pro-Life organizations as ‘terrorist organizations.’ The slide you see here followed right after a slide about ISIS, a terror group in the Middle East.” The slide listed pro-life organizations and labeled them “TERRORIST GROUPS.”

The flipping of morality from one of finding shock at the very idea of murdering unborn children to finding shock at the very idea of being opposed to murdering unborn children is indicative of how far we’ve come as a people from valuing the sanctity of each individual life. Seeing our security institutions so dominated with such dark moralities should give all of us Americans pause, for if the government now openly seeks to criminalize the very thought of not sub-humanizing life, what chance is there it will value your human life?

The Biden administration’s Department of Defense has made a ridiculous move, labeling pro-life groups as “terrorist organizations” during an anti-terrorism briefing at Fort Liberty’s Directorate of Emergency Services (formerly Fort Bragg) on Wednesday.

This deeply concerning slide from an anti-terrorism brief was first exposed by citizen journalist Sam Shoemate on X.

“An anti-terrorism brief was held on Fort Liberty (Bragg) today where they listed several Pro-Life organizations as “terrorist organizations.” The slide you see here followed right after a slide about ISIS, a terror group in the Middle East,” Shoemate wrote on X.

The presentation slide, which has since circulated widely on social media, lists these pro-life organizations that oppose “Roe[sic] v. Wade” under a headline reading “TERRORIST GROUPS.”

The presentation specifically focuses on organizations such as National Right to Life and Operation Rescue, both longstanding pillars of the pro-life movement.

These organizations are dedicated to peaceful advocacy against abortion, grounded in the belief that every life is valuable and worth protecting…

The slide also displayed a New York license plate bearing the text “IM4IT” and a design promoting the “Choose Life” message.

“They also included a screenshot of a license plate with “IM4IT,” which is a plate many Pro-Life citizens put on their car which implies normal citizens are terrorists if they display this plate,” Shoemate wrote.

“Keep in mind they’re not labeling them as extremist organizations (which would still be crazy), but as terrorist organizations. The military and Dept of Defense are insanely out of control. Service-members are being indoctrinated to view Pro-Life groups as the enemy,” Shoemate added.

As those eligible for self-deletion continue to include more and more groups of people, Canadians are now beginning to organize to help defend the vulnerable now at risk of being nudged into self-deletion, or euthanasia. One group, the Delta Hospice Society, is focusing on protecting people who are chronically ill or terminally ill from pressure to self-delete.

DHS President Angelina Ireland was quoted from LifesiteNews, saying “Our launch of Guardian Angels is now at the point where we need clients. We are looking for patients inside the healthcare system who would like an Angel, those within hospital, hospice, long-term care, palliative care wards, or people with a chronic or terminal illness.”

The creation of Guardian Angels to protect the vulnerable from euthanasia pushers should be yet another clarion call to the Canadians to reject this culture of death that begins with abortion, then becomes euthanasia, and yet worst is yet to come should Canada not pull out of the death spiral that it is in. They also serve as a roadmap for where our country, America, is headed as we too have embraced the culture of death that begins with abortion and spreads into every other part of our lives.

Ireland said that the patients or their loved ones can “reach out to us and request one of our Angels.”

“They are ‘friendly visitors on a mission.’ The mission is to ensure patients are getting proper healthcare, palliative care and to avoid them from being pressured into euthanasia or MAiD,” she said.

A story in the bible about the armies of the Assyrian King Sennacherib being slaughtered by the Angel of the Lord (Christ, to some) has been partially confirmed by new archeological evidence of the army camps that would have existed during that period. The story comes from the Old Testament in 2nd Kings chapter 19 and 2nd Chronicles chapter 32.

Archeologist Stephen Compton has claimed to discover the remains of the camps that would have existed at the beginning of the 7th Century BC. Compton wrote of his discovery “Each was a round site a little over a mile north of the respective old city walls and each bore the same Arabic name on at least one early map, ‘Mudawwara.”

Researchers have discovered an ancient military base that may corroborate a Bible story about God’s angels fending off an attack on Jerusalem.

The tale says that around 2,700 years ago, the Lord sent a messenger angel to fight an army of Assyrian soldiers who came to conquer the Holy Land.

The Angel of the Lord is then said to have descended on the invading military and killed 185,000 soldiers in a single night.

There has not been any archaeological evidence that the supernatural event – or even the battle – actually happened.

Now, using modern mapping techniques, archaeologist Stephen Compton claims he has found more evidence the epic battle took place.

King Sennacherib who ruled the Assyrian Empire from 705 to 681 BC laid siege on Jerusalem to capture all paths leading to the Mediterranean Sea. Pictured: (Top) A 1930s aerial image of Jerusalem (Bottom) The drawings found on Sennacherib’s palace wall
The carvings showed how the military base was laid out, allowing Compton to compare it to photos taken of the area in the 1910s

Despite 61 percent of Southern Baptists voting to ban churches that defy the biblical standard that women cannot teach men in church, the measure failed to take effect as it required a 2/3 majority to enforce the proposed the rule. The ruling assures the further schism of the Southern Baptist church as it suffers under an anti-Christ minority within its ranks, the 39 percent who cast their votes against God and His Word.

  • The Southern Baptist Convention narrowly rejected a proposal to enshrine a ban on churches with women pastors in the denomination’s constitution.

  • The proposal received 61% of the vote but failed to meet the two-thirds supermajority requirement.

  • The church’s official doctrinal statement still limits the office of pastor to men, a position supported by opponents of the constitutional ban.

Southern Baptists narrowly rejected a proposal Wednesday to enshrine a ban on churches with women pastors in the denomination’s constitution after opponents argued it was unnecessary because the denomination already has a way of ousting such churches.

The vote received support from 61% of the delegates, but it failed to get the required two-thirds supermajority. The action reversed a preliminary vote last year in favor of the official ban.

But it still leaves the Southern Baptist Convention with its official doctrinal statement saying the office of pastor is limited to men. Even the opponents of the ban said they favored that doctrinal statement but didn’t think it was necessary to reinforce it in the constitution.
