The soccer world is once again in mourning after a rising female star died suddenly in her sleep.

Aurelia Haynes was just 19 years old when she passed away unexpectedly.

Tributes have been pouring in on social media for a “beautiful gentle soul.”

Haynes was an up-and-coming star player in her native Australia.

She was a law student who played for the NSW Central Coast WPL team Umina United.

It emerged that Haynes had passed away last month.

She reportedly went to bed and never woke up again.

Study Links Covid mRNA Shots to Blood Cancer Surge– slaynews.com

A group of leading medical researchers has uncovered evidence linking Covid mRNA shots to a recent surge in cases of lymphoma.

Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that affects the immune system.

It specifically impacts white blood cells called lymphocytes, which are an important part of the body’s immune system.

Lymphoma affects the immune system by causing lymphocytes to develop abnormally and multiply out of control.

It is also called a cancer of the lymphatic system, or lymphatic cancer.

The team of researchers led by Zhentao Cui and Juan Cheng, both with Lanzhou University First Hospital in China’s Gansu province, conducted a study to identify the source of the recent surge in the once-rare blood cancer.

CDC Pushes for Babies to Get 3 Unlicensed Covid mRNA Shots by 9 Months– slaynews.com

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued new guidance pushing for babies to receive three unlicensed Covid mRNA shots before they are nine months old.

However, COVID-19 poses virtually no risk to children and infants, vaccinated or otherwise.

In addition, there are no licensed Covid vaccines for children aged 12 and under.

Yet, according to the CDC, nine-month-old babies can only be considered “up to date” if they receive multiple doses of the mRNA injections.

Issued August 30, the CDC’s updated guidance states that children as young as 6 months old must get either two doses of the 2024-2025 Moderna vaccine or three doses of the 2024-2025 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

FDA Authorizes Another Covid Shot without Any Clinical Data– slaynews.com

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized yet another COVID-19 “vaccine” for public use.

The FDA approved a new Covid injection from Maryland-based pharmaceutical giant Novavax.

However, the Novavax injection was authorized for public use without any clinical trial data being provided.

Instead, FDA officials insist that animal testing data was enough to support the decision.

Despite COVID-19 not being a threat to public health, the FDA argues that Novavax’s protein-based vaccine must be pushed out quickly to provide the public with an alternative to the nRNA injections from Moderna and Pfizer.

In a statement, Dr. Peter Marks, who directs the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, said:

“Today’s authorization provides an additional COVID-19 vaccine option that meets the FDA’s standards for safety, effectiveness, and manufacturing quality needed to support emergency use authorization.”

Elon Musk announced on X his intentions to pull his X offices and his SpaceX offices out of California to Texas, where Musk would follow suit. He announced the plan after California passed a law preventing parents from being informed if their children should begin to go through “gender-affirming therapy.”

The world’s richest man has been busy this week.

On Tuesday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk would be donating $45 million a month – $180 million from July through October – to America PAC, a political action committee dedicated to reelecting former President Donald Trump.

On the same day, Musk announced that he would be moving the headquarters of SpaceX and X (formerly Twitter) from California to Texas because of a new law that protects transgender children.

“This is the final straw,” Musk wrote on X, adding that he told California Gov. Gavin Newsom last year that affirming laws like this one would lead to an exodus of families who want to “protect their children.”

To me, none of the mogul’s recent moves are surprising. They will, however, affect how the presidential election plays out – and possibly assist in reelecting Trump. That should concern all of us because of the power owning X gives him and his willingness to wield it.

More than 10,000 Southern Baptists gathered in Indianapolis last week for the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention. The SBC was confronted by an unusually urgent set of decisions this year, and the messengers, as those sent by the churches are known, had a full agenda.

That agenda included several blockbuster actions on issues of controversy in the larger culture as well as regular reports from the convention’s ministries and boards. Anyone who thinks the annual meeting of the SBC is boring should come and watch next year in Dallas. This year, there wasn’t a spare moment on the agenda.

SBC president Bart Barber of Texas finished his term only after he presided over a complicated meeting with massive challenges. The first of these challenges is presiding in a way that allows a maximum number of messengers to speak to issues, following the convention’s adopted rules. In a hotly contested election that required three ballots, conservative North Carolina pastor Clint Pressley was elected the convention’s next president. It had been a long time since six candidates were nominated for the office at a single convention. The tellers committee got a real workout.

… Recently, Britain had an election that shockingly turned the Tory Party and Conservative Party out of power and ushered in a left-wing, Labour Party majority. But even these leftists are not turning back the clock on radical transgenderism.

Per Breitbart News, new Prime Minister Keir Starmer is not bowing to the transgender movement:

Now, having been installed in his cabinet post earlier this month, the openly gay Labour politician is continuing to reject the far-left excesses of gender ideologues within his own party, shutting down demands for the government to once again allow doctors to give children life-altering puberty blockers.

“We don’t yet know the risks of stopping pubertal hormones at this critical life stage. That is the basis upon which I am making decisions. I am treading cautiously because the safety of children must come first,” Streeting wrote on X.

“Some of the public statements being made are highly irresponsible,” he said in an apparent reference to those on the woke left claiming that preventing children from puberty-blocking drugs would lead to the death of transgender children.

“I know there’s lots of fear and anxiety. I am determined to improve the quality of, and access to, care for trans people. The decisions I am taking will always be based on evidence, rather than politics or political pressure,” the Health Secretary said.

A study published in Nature Communications presents a plausible scenario for the creation of vaccines that can be created with nanoparticles. The methodology proposed specifically targets influenza-class viruses.

To offer cross-protection against diverse influenza virus variants, nanoparticle vaccines can produce pivotal cellular and mucosal immune responses that enhance vaccine efficacy and broaden protection, according to a study by researchers in the Institute for Biomedical Sciences at Georgia State University.

The study, published in the journal Nature Communications, offers valuable insights into tailoring immunization strategies to optimize influenza vaccine effectiveness. To alleviate the significant public health burden of influenza epidemics and occasional pandemics, it’s essential to enhance influenza vaccine cross-protection, according to the authors.

While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends annual influenza vaccination, current seasonal influenza vaccines typically provide strain-specific and short-lived immunity. Seasonal influenza vaccines offer limited cross-protection against antigenically diverse virus variants and provide no defense against sporadic influenza pandemics, the authors explained.

“Developing effective influenza vaccines or vaccination strategies that can confer cross-protection against variant influenza viruses is a high priority to mitigate the public health consequences of influenza,” said Dr. Chunhong Dong, first author of the study and a postdoctoral fellow in the Institute for Biomedical Sciences at Georgia State.

In the study, the researchers investigated the effects of immunization strategies on the generation of cross-protective immune responses in female mice using mRNA lipid nanoparticle (LNP) and protein-based polyethyleneimine-HA/CpG (PHC) nanoparticle vaccines targeting influenza hemagglutinin. The mice were immunized with either intramuscular mRNA LNP or intranasal PHC vaccines in a typical prime-plus-boost regimen. A variety of sequential immunization strategies were included in this study for parallel comparison.

“We demonstrated that cellular and mucosal immune responses are pivotal correlates of cross-protection against influenza,” said Dr. Baozhong Wang, senior author of the study and a Distinguished University Professor in the Institute for Biomedical Sciences at Georgia State.

“Notably, intranasal PHC immunization outperforms its intramuscular counterpart in inducing mucosal immunity and conferring cross-protection. Sequential mRNA LNP prime and intranasal PHC boost demonstrated optimal cross-protection against antigenically drifted and shifted influenza strains.”

The study highlights the importance of immunization orders and indicates that in a sequential immunization, an mRNA vaccine priming plays an important role in steering the Th1/Th2 immune responses. Also, the intranasal PHC boost is crucial to the induction of mucosal immunity, Wang said.

Additional authors of the study include Wandi Zhu, Lai Wei, Joo Kyung Kim, Yao Ma and Sang-Moo Kang of the Institute for Biomedical Sciences at Georgia State.

Cirrhosis is chronic, progressive end-stage liver disease that occurs when scar tissue prevents the liver from functioning normally. Studies have shown that two of the leading causes of cirrhosis — alcohol use disorder and viral hepatitis — occur more frequently in transgender individuals, but there has been little research examining if these risk factors translate into greater incidences of cirrhosis among transgender patients.

A new study from Keck Medicine of USC published in The American Journal of Gastroenterology finds that transgender adults have double the prevalence of cirrhosis compared to cisgender adults (people whose gender identity matches the sex they were assigned at birth), suggesting a need for more supportive, preventive care.
