Biden Cognitive Decline

Email records obtained by a FOIA request from Protect the Public Trust showed that the Joe Biden Committee had to make major adjustments to Joe Biden’s visits because he could not process stairs that were too many steps.

At the time that Biden could not fulfill his basic Presidential duties, his press secretary, Karine Jeane-Pierre, said this when challenged on Biden’s competency, “Look, we’ve been asked this question multiple times. And you have a president who — I just went through his Unity Agenda — what we’ve been able to do in a bipartisan way as it relates to issues that really matter to the American people — right? — the Cancer Moonshot, which is actually going to make a difference with people and family — fam- — Americans who have family members dealing with cancer. That is something that this President has been able to do.”

Unearthed emails as part of a FOIA request show Biden administration agencies scrapping a plan to visit a vessel at an event because it would have required then-President Joe Biden to take too many steps.

Records show, as part of a FOIA request by Protect the Public’s Trust obtained by Fox News Digital, that Biden was set to visit a National Security Multi-Mission Vessel (NSMV) while touring a Philadelphia shipyard in July 2023.

However, according to the emails, that visit to the vessel was scrapped because of “how many steps were involved to get on the ship.”

As PJ Media previously reported, Ron Klain, Joe Biden’s former chief of staff, has decided to cooperate with the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline and the use of an autopen to sign executive orders and pardons without his knowledge. Klain appeared for a closed-door meeting this week, and in a surprising break from the evasive tactics of other former aides and even Biden’s personal physician, he actually answered questions.

Lawmakers from both parties described Klain’s testimony as credible and refreshingly candid. He didn’t dodge. He didn’t deflect. Instead, he painted a troubling picture of a presidency plagued by fatigue and worsening cognitive issues.

What exactly did Klain say behind closed doors? Thanks to a new report from the New York Post, we now have a much clearer idea.

Klain, who was part of the now-infamous “Politburo” running the show behind the scenes, stopped short of saying that Biden was unfit to govern or too old to seek re-election in 2024, but he did acknowledge that the president’s forgetfulness and confusion have noticeably worsened over time.

Former White House chief of staff Ron Klain revealed Thursday that former President Joe Biden wasn’t seen as “politically viable” by either his national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, or by ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during his final year in office, a source told The Post.

[…]

But the longtime adviser admitted his boss was “less energetic,” had a poorer memory and frequently mixed up names — a problem that worsened with time, the source added.

Sullivan confided to Klain that Biden was also “less effective” in 2024 than in 2022, the source noted.

Elsewhere in his interview, Klain divulged that he’d donated $5,000 for then-first son Hunter Biden’s legal defense fund at the behest of attorney Abbe Lowell, who repped the younger Biden.

The committee pressed Klain on everything from Biden’s use of sleep aids, which some allege contributed to his debate fiasco against Donald Trump, to internal White House preparations as the president’s faculties slipped. He revealed that by the time Biden was prepping for the catastrophic June 2024 debate, the president was exhausted, “out of it,” and much more fixated on NATO than on the basic duties of American leadership. The man running for reelection seemed more like a figurehead than a commander-in-chief.

Klain’s testimony echoed the bombshell revelations recently chronicled in the media and insider accounts. He recalled an atmosphere where decisions were being rubber-stamped by a handful of unelected aides while Biden faded further into the background. Klain described a president whose memory for names and events was alarmingly poor and declining rapidly. Still, the inner circle propped him up and kept the American people in the dark. In his words and actions, Klain demonstrated that the “internal concerns” within the Democratic Party were not mere rumors but were rooted in firsthand observation and secret backroom discussions.

The former chief of staff also detailed how top Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and Jake Sullivan, expressed serious doubts about Biden’s fitness well before the 2024 election disaster. Sullivan supposedly told Klain that Biden was clearly less effective in 2024 than he had been just two years earlier, an astonishing admission from the very heart of the Democratic establishment. These misgivings didn’t just come out of nowhere; they bubbled up as it became impossible to ignore Biden’s “tired and ill” demeanor ahead of his head-to-head with Trump.

Perhaps even more striking, Klain didn’t indulge the media’s desperate attempts to shift blame to ageism or distraction. He reportedly told investigators that he saw no reason to question Trump’s own mental acuity, a subtle but unmistakable rebuke of the left’s favorite whataboutism over the past half-decade.

In testifying, Klain didn’t completely peel back the curtain, but he confirmed what millions have suspected for years and quietly indicted the Democratic machine that worked overtime to conceal Biden’s decline. No, he didn’t come right out and declare Biden unfit to serve; he would never do that, but he didn’t have to.

The picture he painted was damning enough: a president growing visibly weaker, a White House staff walking on eggshells, and top Democrats privately panicking while publicly insisting all was well. Klain’s account may have been measured, but the implications are anything but. The real scandal isn’t just Biden’s condition; it’s how long they all lied to cover it up.

Enough is enough. Democrats hid the truth about Biden’s decline while America hung in the balance. PJ Media refuses to let these cover-ups slide. Joe Biden has been cashing in since leaving the Oval Office.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Joe Biden sold his presidential memoir to a publisher for $10 million.

The number may sound high, but it’s significantly lower than the deals Barack Obama and Bill Clinton received.

The New York Post shared more details on the deal and how it compares to previous presidents:

Former President Biden has sold his presidential memoir for a $10 million advance – far less than the lucrative deals won by the Obamas and Bill Clinton, according to a report.

Biden, 82, made a deal with Hachette Book Group for an advance of around $10 million, people familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal.

The book’s publisher, Hachette’s Little, Brown & Co., has not yet set a publication date.

Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama, meanwhile, sold the rights to their memoirs to Penguin Random House for a record-breaking $60 million in 2017.

Alfred A. Knopf, which is owned by Penguin Random House’s parent firm Bertelsmann, paid $15 million for former President Bill Clinton’s 2004 memoir “My Life.”

President Trump did not publish a presidential memoir after his first term.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since the Democratic Party launched its soft coup against the political liability that was Joe Biden.

Thursday marked the day President(?) Joe Biden delivered a mushed-mouth Oval Office speech to further explain “his decision” to end his run for a second presidential term. He claimed, as he struggled to read the teleprompter, that he was putting the country and democracy above “personal ambition.”

What a guy.

“When you elected me to this office, I promised to always level with you, to tell you the truth,” Biden said. It was a bold statement from a man and an administration that had routinely lied to the American people for four long years.

In fact, some very powerful people in his party were not only telling him to get the hell out of the way, they were forcing the issue. You’ll recall Biden’s meltdown in his disastrous late-June debate against then-presumptive GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump. That was the “Oh, (expletive deleted)” moment for a Democrat Party in mid-implosion. George Clooney lamented in a New York Times’ op-ed that Joe Biden was a shell of his old “Big F-ing deal” self, and Nancy Pelosi performed her best Lady Macbeth behind the scenes as dozens of liberal members of Congress did the dirty work on stage.

Joe Biden has sold his presidential memoir’s publishing rights for around $10 million, falling millions of dollars short of the sums that the Obamas and Bill Clinton received for their memoirs, according to a report Wednesday evening.

Biden sold the worldwide rights to his memoir, which does not yet have a publishing date, to the Hachette Book Group for “an advance in the range of $10 million,” the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Biden’s payout is significantly less than those of his predecessors. In 2017, former president Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama received $60 million for the rights to their memoirs, according to reports at the time. Former president Bill Clinton was paid $15 million for his 2004 memoir My Life. President Donald Trump did not publish a memoir after his first term.

The news comes as reports indicate the Biden family has faced tightening finances following the former president’s exit from public office. “Biden, Inc., needs a source of revenue,” journalist Mark Halperin said in May, citing a source familiar with the Biden family. “The trough is empty, the spigot has shut down. They need a way to get back in the game to make big money to have the grandchildren fed and clothed and flown first-class.”

James Fishback, CEO of Azoria Capital, joined Steve Bannon to announce a bold legal move against Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. The lawsuit accuses Powell of violating the 1976 Government in the Sunshine Act by holding Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meetings in secret. Fishback’s goal is to force transparency on the Fed, aligning with President Trump’s push for lower interest rates and an open economic system. This isn’t just a courtroom fight; it’s about holding the Fed accountable to the public.

BREAKING DEVELOPMENT:
At approximately 5:30 PM EDT today, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell, an Obama appointee, ordered an emergency hearing for Monday, July 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the DC Federal Courthouse. The hearing will decide on Azoria’s request for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) to block the Fed’s July 29-30, 2025, FOMC meeting from happening behind closed doors. If granted, this would be the first time in nearly 50 years the public gets insight into the Fed’s rate-setting process—a major breakthrough.

U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, is calling for accountability for Democrats and media organizations that hid the truth about former president Joe Biden’s mental decline during his time in the White House.

Johnson shared a collection of video clips featuring various Democratic politicians and numerous media figures describing Biden as “bold” and “vigorous” even as Biden headed into his disastrous June 2024 debate with Donald Trump.

The Speaker called upon the American people to “never forget how far Democrats and the media went to hide the truth about the mental decline of the man holding the most  powerful position on earth.”

The Trump White House has opted not to grant executive privilege to nine former senior aides of Joe Biden, which will allow them to testify in a congressional investigation into the former president’s mental fitness for office and allegations that his staff covered up his cognitive decline.

According to a new report from Axios, people who will be required to provide testimony include Jill Biden’s adviser Anthony Bernal, Joe’s advisers Annie Tomasini, Ashley Williams, Neera Tanden, Mike Donilon, Anita Dunn, Ron Klain, Bruce Reed, and Steve Ricchetti.

The decision means the former aides must answer questions about their private conversations with Biden during closed-door interviews with the House Oversight Committee.

The aides could challenge the decision in court, as could Biden, but no such action has been reported at this time.

On Tuesday, the White House counsel’s office sent a letter to Tanden’s lawyers, which was obtained by Axios, stating that invoking executive privilege was not “in the national interest” due to the “exceptional circumstances” of the investigation.
