Gavin Newsome

Blurb:

President Trump on Tuesday called California’s Proposition 50 a “giant scam” and revealed that the Golden State’s mail-in ballots are under “serious legal and criminal review.”

Governor Gavin Newsom and the Democrat-controlled state Legislature placed the Prop 50 constitutional amendment on California’s 2025 special election ballot in August.

It authorizes a temporary override of California’s independent redistricting process for congressional districts, allowing the Democrat-controlled Legislature to gerrymander new maps starting with the 2026 midterm elections.

“The Unconstitutional Redistricting Vote in California is a GIANT SCAM in that the entire process, in particular the Voting itself, is RIGGED,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “All ‘Mail-In’ Ballots, where the Republicans in that State are ‘Shut Out,’ is under very serious legal and criminal review,” he added. “STAY TUNED.”

REPARATIONS MONDAY - M4BL

The state of California is now openly apartheid, creating a monetary reward system that awards people for being black and descended from slaves. The new reparations law was signed into being by Governor Gavin Newsome (D-CA). The law establishes a “Bureau for Descendants of American Slavery,” which will go through the process of verifying eligibility for the program next. After that, the bureau will determine the nature of the benefits, or rewards, then become the dispenser of the “benefits.”

The law will be challenged immediately due to its open violation of the fourteenth amendment, which prohibits government from discriminating against individuals because of the color of their skin. There are some constitutional exceptions, and leftist anti-Americanist judges will find it easy to ham fist this law into those exceptions, so the constitutionality of the law will be determined by whether the court leans American or leftist.

Five years after forming a task force, and more than two years after the group released its recommendations, Gov. Gavin Newsom has approved legislation making my home state the first (and hopefully last) in the union to approve direct “reparations” to the descendants of former slaves.

Also known as direct cash payments and other state-provided benefits to black people based on the color of their skin. Also known as…racist.

As we previously covered, these performative efforts at moral posturing have long been brewing in California. In terms of the proposed benefits, the proposals ranged from the absurd to the unconstitutional.

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom continued his feud against President Donald Trump by threatening the universities who complied with a request from the federal government.

The president issued a 10-point memo titled the “Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education” to nine universities and said any that agreed would receive preferential treatment for grants and other federal money.

‘California will not bankroll schools that sign away academic freedom.’

Newsom, who has presidential ambitions and has positioned California as a leading state to oppose Trump’s policies, issued a threat to universities that agreed to the compact.

“California universities that bend to the will of Donald Trump and sign this insane ‘compact’ will lose billions in state funding — IMMEDIATELY,” he wrote on social media Thursday.

“California will not bankroll schools that sign away academic freedom,” he added.

“We have zero tolerance for direct or implicit threats against government officials. I’ve referred this matter to [The US Secret Service] and requested a full threat assessment.”

Acting US Attorney for the Central District of California, Bill Essayli, said Saturday he has referred a social media post from Governor Gavin Newsom’s press office to the Secret Service that he said could have been a potential threat against Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Earlier Saturday morning, Newsom’s press office posted on X, “Kristi Noem is going to have a bad day today. You’re welcome, America.” The initial post did not clarify what it was referencing.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin condemned the remark on X, writing, “This reads like a threat. This is ugly [Gavin Newsom]. Your keyboard warrior team may hide behind their laptops and spew this kind of vitriol but you would never have the guts to say this to her face.”

California Bill Looks to Make it Easy for Strangers to Take Custody of Your Children

The DNC-CCP of California is attempting to pass legislation, AB495, that will effectively make it is easy for a stranger to be recognized as a legal “caregiver” of your child in the name of protecting unattended illegal minors from being taken from child traffickers (or so it seems). The bill is called the “Family Preparedness Plan Act of 2025,” but seems decidedly anti-family in its aims.

Erin Friday, an attorney and president of Our Duty-US, warned, “The bill’s language applies to any child for any reason, regardless of immigration status, and grants temporary legal rights to individuals with no blood relation, including people who may not even be known to the child’s parents.”

Widespread outrage is growing over a proposed bill currently moving through the California legislature, which experts say could be easily abused by traffickers by giving almost any unrelated individual the right to assume custody-like control over a child without the parents’ knowledge or consent.

Assembly Bill 495 (AB 495), which has been named the “Family Preparedness Plan Act of 2025,” was authored by Assemblywoman Celeste Rodriguez (San Fernando-D) and is being presented as a solution for illegal immigrant minors whose parents are detained to live with a “caregiver.” But legal experts and parental rights advocates say that the bill is worded so loosely that it would give unvetted, non-related individuals broad powers in directing the care of children, to the point that the legislation could be widely abused by human traffickers and kidnappers.

The far-left failure Governor Newsom is forcing a special election in an already very gerrymandered state into a utterly one party state. Newsom is a threat to democracy. Newsom claims gerrymandering is evil so he is going to super-gerrymander California’s existing gerrymandered congressional districts. Think about that.

Newsom wants to increase Democrat representation by five more, which would give Democrats 92% representation, while 40% of California votes Republican.

“You are playing with fire, risking the destabilization of our democracy, while knowing that California can neutralize any gains you hope to make.”

Governor Gavin Newsom is demanding that President Donald Trump respond to his threat to redraw the California congressional district maps, as President Donald Trump and others in the GOP have been pushing to redraw district maps in Texas and other states for Republicans to pick up a few more seats in Congress in the 2026 midterms.

Newsom wrote in the letter, dated August 11, “I am writing to ask you to call on the governor of Texas and other red states, who are acting on your request to draw new congressional maps through an unprecedented, mid-decade hyper-partisan gerrymander to rig the upcoming term elections, to stop those efforts.”

Asteroid 2022 YS5 is a building-sized asteroid that is scheduled to make a close approach to Earth on July 17, capturing the attention of astronomers, scientists, and space agencies worldwide. Although the asteroid is expected to fly past Earth at a safe distance, the event underscores the increasing importance of planetary defense systems, ongoing asteroid monitoring, and global cooperation in space. Both NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have confirmed that 2022 YS5 poses no threat, but are treating this event as a timely reminder of the need for continued vigilance and preparedness.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has officially confirmed that asteroid 2022 YS5, measuring approximately 120 feet (36.5 meters) in diameter, will pass Earth at a distance of about 4.15 million kilometers (roughly 2.58 million miles). While that may sound like a vast distance, it is considered relatively close in astronomical terms, especially given the asteroid’s speed of over 14,000 miles per hour (22,500 km/h).2022 YS5 belongs to the Aten group of near-Earth asteroids, known for having orbits that can cross Earth’s path. However, NASA has made it clear that this particular asteroid does not qualify as potentially hazardous, as it does not meet the two key risk criteria:

  • Proximity: Within 7.4 million kilometers (4.6 million miles) of Earth
  • Size: Greater than 85 meters in diameter

Since 2022 YS5 falls short on both counts, its flyby is being monitored but not considered dangerous.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been a political fixture in the Golden State since the late 1990s, first serving on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors from 1997 to 2004 before serving as mayor of San Francisco from 2004 to 2011. After that, he was elected as California’s Lieutenant Governor, a position he held for eight years until he was sworn in as the state’s Governor in January 2019.

He’s term-limited out now, with the next gubernatorial election to be held in 2026. Though there are murmurings about whether former Vice President Kamala Harris will jump into the growing field of contenders, Newsom’s focus is not on speculation about the candidates nor endorsements. Instead, he is rumored to have his eye on the ultimate prize for an entrenched, ambitious politico: the presidency of the United States.

“This was not really a speech about California, which, based on his record, he seems to care little about—this was his first real salvo in the ’28 presidential elections,” my colleague Bob Hoge wrote in response to the disastrous, lie-filled speech Newsom gave amid the LA riots. “He knows he’s watching his chances go up in smoke like an electric vehicle in downtown Los Angeles, and this was his desperate attempt to right the ship.”

“Not only do they exist, they persist. And they’re actually influencing young kids every single day.”

Minnesota Governor and former Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz appeared on California Governor Gavin Newsom’s new podcast where the two talked about how the Democratic Party is losing support among young male voters.

During the latest episode of This is Gavin Newsom, the two governors spoke about the ongoing issues in the Democratic Party regarding support among young men. Newsom, who previously interviewed high-profile conservative commentators Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon, explained to Walz why these right-wing voices are resonating with young male voters and the working class.

“We’re losing them to these guys online, we’re losing them to people that I’m bringing on this podcast as well, that’s why I brought on Charlie Kirk,” Newsom said, to which Walz claimed that they were “bad guys.”

“But they exist,” Newsom responded, “and we can deny they exist, they exist—not only do they exist, they persist. And they’re actually influencing young kids every single day.”

Walz asked how to “push some of those guys back under a rock,” to which Newsom said, “I think we have to first understand what their motivations are, I think we have to understand what they’re actually doing.”

California ‘Lost’ $2.4 BILLION It was Supposed to Spend on Homeless Problem– lidblog.com

California Governor Gavin Newsom and the state’s Democrat-infested legislature designated a whopping $24 billion tax dollars to fix the homeless problem there. Now they say they somehow “lost track” of $2.4 billion of that cash.

This is the same Gavin Newsom who thinks, in his arrogance, that he is a great candidate to become our next president, folks.

An audit has been conducted on this massive waste of money and, low and behold, it turned up huge problems.

According to the Los Angeles Times:

The audit by the global consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal found that the city was unable to track exactly how much it spent on homeless programs and did not rigorously reconcile spending with services provided, making it impossible to judge how well the services worked or whether they were even provided.

Contracts written by LAHSA were vague, allowing wide variations in the services provided and their cost, it said.
