A Maryland resident has been arrested on attempted murder charges after he allegedly showed up at the home of a Trump cabinet official with a manifesto and intent to kill.

Colin Demarco, 26, was arrested by Arlington County Police on January 22 after he showed up at Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought’s Northern Virginia home. Vought was wearing a surgical mask and gloves at the time of his arrest, according to court documents.

According to court documents filed in Arlington County, Virginia, Demarco is accused of plotting to murder a victim identified only by the initials “R.V.” Sources familiar with the case confirmed to CBS News that “R.V.” refers to Russell Vought.

Late last week, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) once again did her part to pander to criminal illegal immigrants in the Empire State in an election year by proposing legislation that would effectively end any local government cooperation with ICE.

The unrest in Minneapolis has died down, and the Trump administration is pulling 700 immigration-enforcement offers out of the area. But all of the national media scrutiny has obsessed over Team Trump. They have rarely acted to “hold government accountable” when the governing comes from Democrats, Gov. Tim Walz or Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.

NPR was eagerly touting their new NPR/PBS Marist Poll to underline the effectiveness of their advocacy: 65 percent of Americans, up from 54 percent in June of 2025, think the actions of ICE have “gone too far” in enforcing immigration laws, and 62 percent of say the actions of ICE are making Americans “somewhat less safe, or much less safe.”

New York’s anti-Trump Democrat Attorney General Letitia James has launched a bold initiative to crack down on federal immigration raids across the state.

James announced that her office will deploy legal observers to document the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during raids in New York State.

These observers, equipped with purple vests, will act as neutral witnesses, gathering real-time information to assess whether federal agents operate within legal boundaries.

A professor at Bemidji State had his students reenact the 1945 Iwo Jima flag-raising to protest ICE deportation efforts, and it’s more pathetic than you think.

In support of the “ICE Out of MN” protests, Anton Treuer had his students recreate the WWII scene by planting the Minnesota flag in the snow, which, ironically, now mirrors the Samoli flag.

What’s pathetic about this is not that these people are outright delusional, although that’s part of it; it’s that they think their actions are even remotely comparable to the bravery of WWII soldiers. However, it’s even more deranged than that, though, because they believe they are on the side that’s fighting Nazis, when anyone with a brain knows that all they are doing is defending the fight of agitators to interfere with lawful federal enforcement mandates. That’s not bravery, it’s not even close.

Hundreds of anti-ICE protesters occupied Gerberding Hall at the University of Washington on Friday, just days after anti-Israel and Antifa activists were allowed back on campus for the first time since a suspension nine months ago for causing over $1 million in damage to a brand new engineering building during a violent occupation.

Democrat Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) is facing sharp criticism after appearing to suggest that Americans could be justified in shooting masked U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during enforcement operations.

Nadler made the remarks during a House Judiciary Committee hearing, according to The New York Post.

The anti-Trump lawmaker was condemning federal immigration enforcement and describing ICE officers as “masked hoodlums.”

“What is really the major problem in this country today is the fascism in our streets,” Nadler said.

The Democrats keep doubling down on their inflammatory anti-ICE rhetoric, repeatedly calling the men and women tasked with enforcing our duly-enacted laws the Gestapo and Nazis. They do this to gin up anger among their base, which leads to the insanity we see in Minneapolis.

On Monday, masked anti-ICE agitators in Minneapolis assaulted independent journalist Jorge Ventura and a colleague while they were filming an anti-ICE checkpoint.

“I was just assaulted by left-wing activists in South Minneapolis for reporting on a roadblock protesters set up and checking cars for ID’s,” Ventura stated on X.  “The activists grew angry when I shot footage of them turning around some vehicles that appear to be ICE agents, they tried to steal my phone and shove me back into my vehicle,” he reported, adding that they also assaulted Erik Herrera, another photographer who was on the scene.

“They tried to intimate me and forced to leave by shoving,” Ventura reported, adding, “as a journalist I have the right to be here and report.”

Chicago Police Department (CPD) personnel should focus their time and resources on documenting interactions with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and referring them for prosecution, according to Mayor Brandon Johnson.

On Saturday, Mayor Johnson signed an executive order directing Chicago police officers to prepare reports on “any violation of state or local law by federal agents” and to ensure they preserve body-camera footage.

PORTLAND, Ore. — An Antifa-linked Portland blog has published another claim of responsibility for a vandalism attack, this time targeting an Enterprise Rent-A-Car lot in northeast Portland in retaliation for the company’s business with the federal government.
