Chris Rufo wrote “America’s Cultural Revolution” last year as a warning to conservatives about the radical Left‘s takeover of institutions—from business and government to education and entertainment. In addition to being an exposé, it also served as a call to action.

Now, a year later, Rufo is optimistic that Americans, including some to left of center politically, are “waking up.” He attributes the change to the gruesome and deadly Oct. 7, 2023, attack by Hamas and the Left’s unflinching (and often antisemitic) criticism of Israel that followed.

“After 10/7, when those same people who were marching for [Black Lives Matter], who were pushing trans in schools, who were ramping up DEI, when they’re out there celebrating the terrorists who butchered, raped, and murdered innocent people, I think it caused this moment of horror, but also this moment of clarity,” Rufo told The Daily Signal.

Webster Groves High School hosted a workshop in late April called “Understanding Gender and Relationships” presented by a speaker with a program run by the St. Louis-based domestic abuse treatment center Safe Connections.

Before and after the guest speaker’s lecture, the health teacher instructed students to take the survey.

First it was Mrs. Alito’s day-long flying of an upside-down American flag that Democrats said required Justice Samuel Alito to recuse from the pending Supreme Court cases involving Jan. 6 defendants and Trump’s appeal concerning presidential immunity. Less than a week later, Democrats pounced on the news that an Appeal to Heaven flag hung outside the Alitos’ beach house. Clearly, the conservative justice must now recuse in the high-profile cases, the corrupt media declared, parroting their Democrat pals.

On the contrary, there is no basis for Justice Alito to recuse. And the only thing clear is how insane the efforts to target the Supreme Court justice have become.

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), one of President Joe Biden’s primary challengers, has admitted that the Democrats’ lawfare tactics have “backfired.”

In a new interview with CNN’s Manu Raju, Phillips conceded that the “hush money” case against President Donald Trump in New York has “backfired” on the Democrats who hoped the case would be their “salvation.”

Phillips also appeared to be referencing New York Attorney General Letitia James’s civil “fraud” trial against Trump, which concluded earlier this year.

Democrats began concocting a new recusal scandal on Friday, following Special Counsel Jack Smith’s filing of a motion in the federal documents case now pending against Donald Trump in Florida. That motion requested that the presiding judge, Trump-appointee Aileen Cannon, prohibit the former president from making “public statements that pose a significant, imminent, and foreseeable danger to the law enforcement agents participating in the investigation and prosecution of this case.”

Soon after Smith filed the motion, leftist lawyers responded as if the special counsel’s request were some five-dimensional chess move that will finally lead to Cannon being pulled from the case. Roger Parloff, a senior editor at Lawfare, first hinted at the theory on Friday evening, suggesting Smith had “crafted” the motion “to highlight Judge Cannon’s bias & hypocrisy if she fails to take action.”

Though anyone with their eyes open could tell the only reason for these trials was to prevent another Trump victory in 2024, the ones in favor of these lawsuits have insisted that it has all been in the name of justice.

However, with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s slip-up before Trump’s South Bronx rally and now the Biden administration holding a news conference outside the New York City courthouse holding Trump’s trial, the Democrats are slowly admitting what everyone knew all along.

As the Daily Caller reports, the Muslim Congresswoman and Somalian immigrant wrote a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) declaring that “On Memorial Day, we honor the heroic men and women who served our country. We owe them more than our gratitude – they have more than earned access to quality mental health services, job opportunities, housing assistance, and the benefits they were promised.”

By referencing veterans who are still alive, in the context of providing veterans’ benefits, Omar’s post was quickly criticized for misunderstanding the purpose of Memorial Day; while Veterans Day is about honoring veterans who returned from foreign wars, Memorial Day is about honoring those who died while serving.

An illegal immigrant is back in custody after being arrested for the tenth time in as many months. Since arriving in Chicago last summer, Carlos Mavarez Viloria has been booked on charges ranging from shoplifting to possession of drug paraphernalia. Viloria was released the previous nine times, however his most recent arrest was his first felony, meaning even if he is freed, he will have to abide by certain conditions.

According to CWBChicago, Viloria was apprehended on May 15 in downtown Chicago’s Pritzker Park on shoplifting charges. The TJ Maxx on 11 North State Street had alerted police that they had reason to believe he had stolen $450 worth of merchandise from them on four occassions between April 9 and May 7.

During the arrest, Viloria struggled with officers, pushing one of them to the ground, causing injuries to their hand and arm. In addition to the shoplifting charges, he was hit with reckless conduct, resisting arrest, and felony aggravated battery of a peace officer.

There are 124 cities with a population over 200,000 in the U.S. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s population estimates for last year, more than 90% of the U.S. population growth last year took place outside of its 124 largest cities.

About a third of those cities lost population last year. The total growth in the population of cities with more than 200,000 residents grew by .23%, less than half of what the U.S. grew last year.

Roughly a third of those that lost population were located in New York and California. The three largest cities in the U.S., New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, all lost population again in 2023. Between the three cities, more than 700,000 people have left since the 2020 census. New York is by far the biggest loser at 546,000. That is about 6.2% of its 2020 population.

The latest effort comes from The New York Times fabricating a flag controversy with a series of hysterical stories claiming Justice Samuel Alito is a far-right provocateur because of a pair of flags flown at his East Coast residences. Several Republican senators have joined in the criticism.

Earlier this month, The New York Times reported on an American flag that apparently flew upside down at the judge’s home in Virginia. The flag, according to the paper, was flown amid the turbulent month of President Joe Biden’s inauguration, when the banner of distress was sometimes used to depict tacit support for Republicans’ efforts to “Stop the Steal.”
