Chris Rufo wrote “America’s Cultural Revolution” last year as a warning to conservatives about the radical Left‘s takeover of institutions—from business and government to education and entertainment. In addition to being an exposé, it also served as a call to action.

Now, a year later, Rufo is optimistic that Americans, including some to left of center politically, are “waking up.” He attributes the change to the gruesome and deadly Oct. 7, 2023, attack by Hamas and the Left’s unflinching (and often antisemitic) criticism of Israel that followed.

“After 10/7, when those same people who were marching for [Black Lives Matter], who were pushing trans in schools, who were ramping up DEI, when they’re out there celebrating the terrorists who butchered, raped, and murdered innocent people, I think it caused this moment of horror, but also this moment of clarity,” Rufo told The Daily Signal.

A Missouri high school instructed students in a health class to complete a survey asking if they understood “the difference between sex assigned at birth and gender.”

Webster Groves High School hosted a workshop in late April called “Understanding Gender and Relationships” presented by a speaker with a program run by the St. Louis-based domestic abuse treatment center Safe Connections.

Before and after the guest speaker’s lecture, the health teacher instructed students to take the survey.

Webster Groves High School is part of Webster Groves School District, which enrolls 4,407 students across 10 schools.

He continued, “What changed? The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and the weaponization of the DOJ against pro-life Americans and Catholics skyrocketed. America doesn’t belong to the FBI, it belongs to law-abiding citizens no matter their religion or political affiliation. The bigotry and selective prosecution of our government cannot silence us to peacefully and legally share our beliefs in the public square.”

Joe Biden dispatched his political team to the microphones outside the courthouse where he sicced a DOJ transplant to prosecute his opponent, Donald Trump. Up to this point, the Biden regime gamely denied that this wasn’t a political show trial, claiming that it was a legitimate prosecution based on legal payments that they of course had nothing to do with.

But then he sent his political team to drum up votes outside the courthouse. Biden’s attempt to troll Trump while he was in court fighting for his freedom against bizarre bookkeeping charges confirmed what we’d known all along.

At the time that actor Robert De Niro and other Biden political surrogates were being besieged by hecklers and car alarms, Donald Trump was in the courtroom watching his attorneys explain to the five-woman, seven-man jury that bookkeeping entries didn’t rise to the level of 34 felonies and years in the slammer. The jury will get the case after the judge gives them the jury instructions, which as I write about nearby, are more about jurors being able to choose their convictions à la carte from a “Get Trump” menu.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT can’t seem to recall five of the many, many lies President Joe Biden has told over the years.

MRC researchers asked the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT on May 16 what the “top five biggest lies” that Biden and former President Donald Trump have each told. The chatbot claimed that for Biden it “can’t list specific lies without context or verification.” Yet, it had no problem listing off five debated comments that Trump has made. Nearly two weeks later, the chatbot happened to remember a few.

MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider pointed out that when AI comes up with totally botched answers like these, users must look to the programmers. “People should never forget that artificial intelligence is a combination of human-generated algorithms,” he said. “This sort of data manipulation is intended by the Big Tech oligarchs who want to use their vast power and resources to influence elections.”

President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign is going all-in on presenting former President Donald Trump as a threat to democracy as polling continues to show Biden sinking in swing states.

Biden’s campaign has enlisted the assistance of three police officers who worked at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, to further its latest strategy, CNN reports.

Sgt. Aquilino Gonell, Officer Harry Dunn, and Officer Danny Hodges will accuse Trump of posing a threat to democracy in key swing states, beginning in Nevada and Arizona.

Dunn is fresh off a primary defeat in a campaign for a congressional seat from Maryland. His campaign failed after troubling allegations of domestic abuse resurfaced, as well as reports that he was suspended without pay from the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) in 2012 after improperly handling his department-issued firearm.

First it was Mrs. Alito’s day-long flying of an upside-down American flag that Democrats said required Justice Samuel Alito to recuse from the pending Supreme Court cases involving Jan. 6 defendants and Trump’s appeal concerning presidential immunity. Less than a week later, Democrats pounced on the news that an Appeal to Heaven flag hung outside the Alitos’ beach house. Clearly, the conservative justice must now recuse in the high-profile cases, the corrupt media declared, parroting their Democrat pals.

On the contrary, there is no basis for Justice Alito to recuse. And the only thing clear is how insane the efforts to target the Supreme Court justice have become.

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), one of President Joe Biden’s primary challengers, has admitted that the Democrats’ lawfare tactics have “backfired.”

In a new interview with CNN’s Manu Raju, Phillips conceded that the “hush money” case against President Donald Trump in New York has “backfired” on the Democrats who hoped the case would be their “salvation.”

Phillips also appeared to be referencing New York Attorney General Letitia James’s civil “fraud” trial against Trump, which concluded earlier this year.

Democrats began concocting a new recusal scandal on Friday, following Special Counsel Jack Smith’s filing of a motion in the federal documents case now pending against Donald Trump in Florida. That motion requested that the presiding judge, Trump-appointee Aileen Cannon, prohibit the former president from making “public statements that pose a significant, imminent, and foreseeable danger to the law enforcement agents participating in the investigation and prosecution of this case.”

Soon after Smith filed the motion, leftist lawyers responded as if the special counsel’s request were some five-dimensional chess move that will finally lead to Cannon being pulled from the case. Roger Parloff, a senior editor at Lawfare, first hinted at the theory on Friday evening, suggesting Smith had “crafted” the motion “to highlight Judge Cannon’s bias & hypocrisy if she fails to take action.”

CBS’s “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan couldn’t contain her laughter when Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg tried to justify the sluggish progress on electric vehicle (EV) charging stations—a cornerstone of the Biden administration’s green infrastructure plan. Despite a whopping $7.5 billion flushed from taxpayers’ pockets into the initiative, only a “handful” of stations have sprung up.

The interview, which started with a serious tone about the administration’s ambitious goals, took a comedic turn when Brennan pointed out the glaring discrepancy between the investment made back in 2021 and the meager results thus far. According to the Federal Highway Administration, only seven or eight charging stations have been built—a shockingly low number given the billions spent.

Ever since Democratic district attorneys and the Department of Justice brought legal action against former President Donald Trump in 2023, the Democratic Party has strenuously attempted to deny the nakedly political motivations behind those cases.

Though anyone with their eyes open could tell the only reason for these trials was to prevent another Trump victory in 2024, the ones in favor of these lawsuits have insisted that it has all been in the name of justice.

However, with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s slip-up before Trump’s South Bronx rally and now the Biden administration holding a news conference outside the New York City courthouse holding Trump’s trial, the Democrats are slowly admitting what everyone knew all along.

Far-left Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) deleted a tweet posted on Monday where she appeared to confuse Memorial Day with Veterans Day, leading to backlash and mockery on social media.

As the Daily Caller reports, the Muslim Congresswoman and Somalian immigrant wrote a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) declaring that “On Memorial Day, we honor the heroic men and women who served our country. We owe them more than our gratitude – they have more than earned access to quality mental health services, job opportunities, housing assistance, and the benefits they were promised.”

By referencing veterans who are still alive, in the context of providing veterans’ benefits, Omar’s post was quickly criticized for misunderstanding the purpose of Memorial Day; while Veterans Day is about honoring veterans who returned from foreign wars, Memorial Day is about honoring those who died while serving.

Democrats are so desperate to keep the Supreme Court from torpedoing their lawfare efforts against former President Donald Trump that members like Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., are openly vowing to launch a coordinated attack on the judicial branch if they don’t get their way.

Last week, The New York Times published a smear piece on Justice Samuel Alito “to indict the conservative judge as a partisan ideologue corrupted by far-right politics” all because an “Appeal to Heaven” flag flew outside his New Jersey beach home last year, my colleague Tristan Justice explained. The story came days after another hit piece alleged Alito was compromised because of an upside-down American flag flown by his wife.

An illegal immigrant is back in custody after being arrested for the tenth time in as many months. Since arriving in Chicago last summer, Carlos Mavarez Viloria has been booked on charges ranging from shoplifting to possession of drug paraphernalia. Viloria was released the previous nine times, however his most recent arrest was his first felony, meaning even if he is freed, he will have to abide by certain conditions.

According to CWBChicago, Viloria was apprehended on May 15 in downtown Chicago’s Pritzker Park on shoplifting charges. The TJ Maxx on 11 North State Street had alerted police that they had reason to believe he had stolen $450 worth of merchandise from them on four occassions between April 9 and May 7.

During the arrest, Viloria struggled with officers, pushing one of them to the ground, causing injuries to their hand and arm. In addition to the shoplifting charges, he was hit with reckless conduct, resisting arrest, and felony aggravated battery of a peace officer.

There are 124 cities with a population over 200,000 in the U.S. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s population estimates for last year, more than 90% of the U.S. population growth last year took place outside of its 124 largest cities.

About a third of those cities lost population last year. The total growth in the population of cities with more than 200,000 residents grew by .23%, less than half of what the U.S. grew last year.

Roughly a third of those that lost population were located in New York and California. The three largest cities in the U.S., New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, all lost population again in 2023. Between the three cities, more than 700,000 people have left since the 2020 census. New York is by far the biggest loser at 546,000. That is about 6.2% of its 2020 population.

Mark Houck‘s life was changed forever in the fall of 2022 after he was arrested at gunpoint in front of his family following an investigation into his anti-abortion activism outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Philadelphia.

After the Pennsylvania-based Catholic father’s acquittal by a jury in January 2023, Houck is demanding accountability for the Department of Justice in a new lawsuit filed this week. The complaint names six police officers, including four unknown officers, that aided the FBI’s investigation and execution of the “needless” raid of Houck’s home, his attorney Matt Britton told the Washington Examiner.

A jolting new study has found that deaths surge by over 1,200 percent among people who have received at least one Covid mRNA shot.

The study was conducted by a group of world-renowned epidemiologists, cardiologists, and data experts.

The pre-print paper for the study, co-authored by celebrated cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, was published Monday.

The study, titled “Excess Cardiopulmonary Arrest and Mortality after COVID-19 Vaccination in King County, Washington,” sought to investigate concerns about major spikes in serious cardiovascular adverse events, including myocarditis, myocardial infarction, and venous thromboembolism, all of which can lead to cardiopulmonary arrest.

The team of experts analyzed data on deaths in King County, Washington between 2020 and 2023.

The county has one of the highest rates of vaccinations in the United States.

98 percent of King County’s residents received at least one Covid injection by 2023.

The county has also suffered from a surge in excess deaths since the Covid mRNA shots were first rolled out for public use in 2021.

Vivek Ramaswamy demanded a “major shift” at media outlet BuzzFeed after buying a stake in the company, according to a report.

Ramaswamy sent a letter to the outlet after buying an 8.4% stake, demanding it apologize for mistakes in its coverage and asking that it hire prominent conservative commentators to “challenge” its audience, according to the Guardian.

Ramaswamy reportedly drafted an apology for the outlet to issue saying sorry for “past journalistic mistakes” after the tech entrepreneur bought his stake in the company.

Ramaswamy, who ran for the Republican nomination for president in 2024, suggested the company hire conservative commentators, including Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, plus other outspoken political pundits such as Bill Maher, Aaron Rodgers, and Charles Barkley.

The Washington Examiner reached out to a representative of Ramaswamy for comment.

BuzzFeed has been struggling since going public in 2021 and shuttering its news division last year, according to the report. BuzzFeed is notable for publishing 35 pages of the unverified Steele dossier in 2017.

Governor Ron DeSantis’ efforts to allow parents greater choice in where their children go to school has led to the proliferation of independent private schools and homeschooling, leaving public schools without students to justify staying open. The DNC-MSM have been lamenting the results, but DeSantis had a different take.

He said, “Now, as to that statement about ‘…some of Florida’s largest school districts are facing staggering enrollment declines,’ I can only reply, ‘Yes, and?’ To those school districts, and to the public school absolutists who are clutching their pearls and complaining about the likely closures, I would say: If the public schools were doing a better job, parents wouldn’t be choosing to enroll their kids elsewhere… If they can’t compete, they should be closed, as their customers, namely, parents, seem to have lost faith in those schools.”

This is the Way.

Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans have spent years aggressively turning the state into a haven for school choice. They have been wildly successful, with tens of thousands more children enrolling in private or charter schools or homeschooling.

Now as those programs balloon, some of Florida’s largest school districts are facing staggering enrollment declines — and grappling with the possibility of campus closures — as dollars follow the increasing number of parents opting out of traditional public schools.

Effort to Draft WHO Pandemic Treaty Fail

After more than two years of negotiations, World Health Organization member states failed to reach an agreement on a draft global treaty that would fight future pandemics.

WHO officials had hoped to present the draft at its yearly meeting of health ministers in Geneva this week.

The accord’s aim was to set guidelines for how the WHO’s 194 member countries might stop future pandemics and better share resources. But experts warned there were virtually no consequences for countries that don’t comply.

The co-chairs of the treaty-drafting process didn’t specify what caused the logjam, but diplomats have said vast differences remained over sharing of information about pathogens that emerge and the sharing of technologies to fight them.

The latest draft had proposed that WHO should get 20% of the production of pandemic-related products like tests, treatments and vaccines and urges countries to disclose their deals with private companies.

Earlier this month, U.S. Republican senators wrote to the Biden administration, arguing that the draft treaty focused on issues like “shredding intellectual property rights” and “supercharging the WHO.” They urged Biden not to sign off.

Democrats and the press can always count on a handful of Senate Republicans to participate in the latest far-left hoax to undermine the political opposition by delegitimizing bulwark institutions. An analysis of U.K. government health data shows a spike in what is called Turbo Cancers occurring among teens and young adults who have received MRNA Covid-19 Vaccines. The study was conducted by world-renowned data analyst Edward Dowd.

From the study: “We show a large increase in mortality due to malignant neoplasms that started in 2021 and accelerated substantially in 2022. The increase in excess deaths in 2022 is highly statistically significant (extreme event). The results indicate that from late 2021 a novel phenomenon leading to increased malignant neoplasm deaths appears to be present in individuals aged 15 to 44 in the UK.”

The latest effort for the Democrat Party to appear to take the border crisis they created seriously failed in the Senate yesterday, Thursday, May 23. The bill needed 60 votes to make it to the floor for a final vote but failed with only 43 Yes votes cast. The bill appears more about funding the continued distribution of invaders, illegal aliens, then actually stopping the planvasion from continuing.

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) said the bill “spends $20 billion to not secure the border, but to more efficiently encounter, process, and disperse illegal migrants.” Senator James Lankford (R-OK) said of the bill, “Everyone sees this for what it is. It is not an effort to actually make law, it is an effort to do political messaging.”

The bipartisan border bill failed in the U.S. Senate Thursday, even losing the support of two key negotiators who helped craft the legislation. This marked the second time the Senate voted against moving forward with the bill.

Lankford worked to negotiate the bill with Sens. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., and Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz., but he and Sinema voted against the bill Thursday, criticizing the reintroduction of the bill as being politically motivated.
