There is a morality debate about whether a terminal patient should have the choice of assisted suicide. Then there’s what Canada does. Which is less an argument against assisted suicide than it is an argument against Medicare for All. Remember, a government that controls your healthcare can control when they take it away from you. That’s something cancer survivor Kristin Logan almost learned the hard way.
Logan went viral recently with a video where she and her husband took a trip to America. She had stage 4 cancer. Canada wanted to put her to death. America treated her illness. She is still alive because of it.
See, in Canada, they have something called MAID (Medical assistance in dying). It’s an “option” Canada provides. By “option,” we mean the Canadian government encourages it. Hence, Canada hitting a morbid record as assisted suicides surpass EVERY other country. It’s an option they want to give themselves to self-unalive children without their parents’ consent.
It’s also an option they provided someone who, it turns out, was just seasonally depressed when they assisted in his killing himself. Whoops.
