DONALD Trump has signed a historic deal to allow a larger US military presence in Greenland.
The deal was signed alongside Denmark and Greenland at the UN General Assembly, aiming to strengthen Arctic and North Atlantic security.
The deal will allow the US to increase their military presence by building two new military bases on the icy island, but keep it under Danish control.
Trump said: “This is tremendous for Europe and for the United States and for everybody.”
“And for Greenland, it’s going to be incredible.”
Greenland’s PM Jens-Frederik Nielsen said it was a “win-win-win”.
