North Korea is sending Russia missiles and soldiers for war against Ukraine in exchange for technology for tactical nuclear weapons.
This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Industry, Kyrylo Budanov, who spoke in an interview with The Economist, Ukrinform reports.
As the publication notes, the North Korean government does not provide Moscow with its servicemen or weapons as a charity contribution. Therefore, the expansion of cooperation between the two countries should be considered as a result of the agreement on mutual assistance signed by the head of the Kremlin Vladimir Putin and the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang in June 2024.
