An election for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court could determine who controls the U.S. House in 2027. A Democrat win will assure a new redistricting by the court that will significantly favor Democrats while a GOP win will prevent the gerrymandering from happening.
President Trump and Elon Musk have both stepped into the fray, with Musk pumping in money to support the GOP candidate, Brad Schimel, while Trump has openly endorsed him and called on his supporters to make sure he wins.
