Florida police arrested a woman on Tuesday for allegedly threatening to kill Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis. Danyele Amira Callaway, 20, of Riverview, has been accused of sending “life-threatening” messages to Gov. DeSantis through the governor’s online website. She faces a charge of written or electronic threat to kill or inflict bodily injury.
Callaway is being held without bond at the Falkenburg Road Jail. She was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) on July 9, court records show.
