Alex Ray Scott, 28, learned of the fate while standing trial on separate murder charges in New York City. Scott is being housed with women in Rikers pending the NYC trial.
Reduxx revealed that Scott assumed a transgender identity shortly after admitting to a murder to the NYPD in January 2020. Scott was detained in connection to the murder of 64-year-old antiques dealer Kenneth Savinski and is now listed as a female on New York arrest records.
