Thousands of Lindsay Clancy supporters believe the 36-year-old killer is herself a victim.

Hundreds turned out for a rally Thursday at Plymouth Superior Courthouse — most of them women and many in pink shirts — carrying signs with fangirl slogans such as “Believe,” “She Needed Help” and “Peace For Lindsay,” the Associated Press reported.

They have leaned into claims that the “overburdened” mother was suffering from postpartum psychosis when she committed the heinous crimes. She also slit her wrists and neck and jumped out of a second-story window in a suicide attempt that left her paralyzed from the waist down, according to court documents.

The Associated Press called the race for Graham, who is seeking a full term in the seat previously held by her late brother, longtime Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham.

Graham, 62, will face Democrat Annie Andrews in November and enters the general election as the favorite in heavily Republican South Carolina. Democrats have not won a U.S. Senate race in the state since 1998.

The victory also demonstrates Trump’s continued influence among Republican primary voters. He endorsed Graham and traveled to South Carolina on Friday to campaign alongside her.
