A special agent with the Department of Homeland Security revealed in court documents that leftists who disrupted services at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, made frightening comments to children in the congregation.
The agent said in a Jan. 20 affidavit that the protesters — who interrupted Sunday morning worship because one of the pastors worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement — told children their parents were “Nazis.”
That particular remark allegedly came from William Kelly — who has harassed conservative churches across the country with expletive-laced language.

The airspace over El Paso, Texas, was closed late Tuesday after Mexican cartel drones breached the airspace, according to reports by the Associated Press and CNN that cited U.S. government sources.
U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy subsequently said on social media that the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Department of War (DOW) “acted swiftly to address a cartel drone incursion.”

“The Department of War took action to disable the drones,” the unnamed official told CNN.
“The FAA and DOW have determined there is no threat to commercial travel.”
AP said that the official it spoke to didn’t say how many drones breached the airspace above El Paso — located opposite Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua — or explain what specifically was done to disable the unmanned aerial vehicles.
NBC News and ABC News also reported that they were told by a Trump administration official that Mexican cartel drones had breached U.S. airspace, but the DOW disabled them.
The Texas Tribune acknowledged that the U.S. government “says the unusual closure was triggered by Mexican cartel drones breaching U.S. airspace,” but said that information contradicted “an industry source who said it was because of an impasse with the Department of Defense [as the DOW was previously known] over the use of unmanned military aircraft.”
“An industry official, who had been briefed on the matter by the FAA in a morning call and asked not to be identified, told the Tribune that the Defense Department has been operating unmanned aircraft, or drones, against drug cartel operations from a base near El Paso’s airport without sharing information with the FAA,” the Tribune reported.
“It has to do with the FAA’s inability to predict where [unmanned aircraft systems] might be flying,” the official told the Tribune. “They have been operating outside the normal flight paths.”
For its part, The New York Times reported that officials “offered conflicting explanations for a temporary closure of airspace over El Paso.”
It noted that Duffy and other U.S. government officials attributed the closure to a breach of U.S. airspace by Mexican cartel drones, but added that “two people briefed by Trump administration officials said the shutdown was prompted by the Defense Department’s use of new counter-drone technology and concerns about the risks it could pose to other aircraft in the area.”

These cases are heartbreaking and prove that the slippery-slope alarms sounding for far too long should have been heeded, but, tragically, they have been ignored. And, unfortunately, the chaos doesn’t come from only these mental health loopholes.

A shooting at a school in British Columbia left eight dead including a woman whom police believe to be the shooter, while two more people were found dead at a nearby home, Canadian authorities said Tuesday.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said more than 25 people are injured, including two who were airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries, after the shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School.
School shootings are rare in Canada.
The town of Tumbler Ridge is more than 1,000 kilometers north of Vancouver, near the border with Alberta. The provincial government website lists Tumbler Ridge Secondary School as having 175 students from Grades 7 to 12.
British Columbia Premier David Eby told reporters that police officers reached the school within two minutes.

The bill defines Islamophobia as “malicious prejudice or hatred directed toward Islam or Muslims” — applying even when the victim is not actually Muslim.SB 624 amends Virginia’s assault and battery laws by creating a statutory definition of “Islamophobia” and mandating that the Virginia Department of State Police incorporate this definition into the state’s hate crime reporting system.

Foreign nationals are quietly bankrolling leftist causes throughout the United States, several witnesses told House lawmakers on Tuesday.
The concerning news came during a House Ways and Means Committee hearing focused on noncitizens pouring foreign dollars into U.S.-based nonprofit organizations. These groups, many of the witnesses said, are employing such funds to advance left-wing causes and policy priorities across the country.
ICE Director Todd Lyons has been using the House hearing that he is taking part in to argue that ICE is the real victim of ICE’s campaign of lawless violence across America.

A shooting rampage at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia left 10 people dead and more than 25 injured on Tuesday, marking one of the deadliest school attacks in Canadian history.
Authorities said the gunfire erupted shortly after 1:20 p.m. local time at the high school in the remote community. Six victims were killed inside the building before the suspect was later found dead from what police described as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A seventh victim died while being transported to a hospital. Investigators also discovered two additional bodies at a nearby residence believed to be connected to the attack, reportedly the suspect’s mother and younger brother.
This year may have barely begun, but it has already witnessed many threats to President Donald Trump and members of his administration.
Trump survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024, and he faced another serious assassination attempt in West Palm Beach, Florida, two months later. The first assassin died in the attempt, and a judge sentenced Ryan Routh, 59, to life in prison plus 84 months last week for the second attempt.
Two events last year highlighted the rise of political violence on the left: the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and the comments of Democrat Jay Jones, who now serves as Virginia’s attorney general, wishing for the death of his political opponents.
