‘The employee has since apologized for the choice of words and acknowledged that the sign is not an example of hate speech,’ according to a university statement

A Christian university in Texas is apologizing for a recent situation in which a pro-life student group was forced to remove its “abortion is murder” sign.

Abilene Christian University’s ACU for Life group last month was tabling in the campus center with a sign that read: “Abortion is Murder. Disagree? Let’s talk.”

Plans prompted skepticism from one scholar who says DEI is still deeply embedded in the institution

A new plan by the University of Michigan to invest in civil discourse is being questioned after the institution spent hundreds of millions of dollars on diversity, equity, and inclusion in recent years.

University President Domenico Grasso announced in September a $50 million investment in a new institute for civil discourse.

In the works since 2024, the institute is expected to open in the spring, a news release states.

“One of my priorities as president is for the nation to look to Michigan as a model in higher education for civil and robust discourse on critical issues,” Grasso said at a Board of Regents meeting in September.

“Silencing voices is anathema to a great university like ours,” he said. “Our common ground, in pursuit of the common good, must be reasoned discourse and civility. I believe we can — and must — rise to this moment, together, in ways only Michigan can.”

Zohran Mamdani is already revealing his true agenda of dividing “New Yorkers into two groups: the oppressed and their oppressors,” The Washington Post editorial board declared in a Saturday editorial.

The newly-elected New York City mayor’s victory speech on Tuesday made it clear that his “view of politics isn’t about unity” or “[increasing] wealth” but rather about handing wealth “out to favored groups,” the editorial board said.

The article describes Mamdani’s new “favorite word” as being “‘mandate’” because he will need “approval from the state to raise taxes” in order to achieve his agenda of “rent freezes,” “‘free’ child care and buses,” et cetera.

On Saturday’s The Weekend, co-host Eugene Daniels fretted over video of an immigration arrest in Massachusetts without informing viewers they were targeting a violent criminal, and then allowed a Democrat congresswoman to call the Homeland Security Department a “domestic terrorism organization.” And co-host Jonathan Capehart brought up the case of immigration agents arresting a teacher at a Chicago daycare without informing viewers that she ran to the daycare trying to evade a traffic stop.

At 8:30 a.m. Capehart first brought up the Massachusetts arrest and skeptically read only part of DHS’s statement:

All this comes amid yet more disturbing ICE arrest footage in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. There was video on social media of a man appearing to suffer a seizure while holding a toddler during an arrest. ICE disputes that account, saying the man had, quote, “no legitimate medical episode,” and that he allegedly refused treatment.

The political views of New York City’s incoming first lady are drawing renewed attention after a series of controversial social media posts resurfaced during the mayoral campaign.

Rama Duwaji, the wife of Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, is an illustrator whose work has prominently featured pro-Hamas messaging.

Her art includes graphics accusing Israel of committing “war crimes” and denouncing U.S. support for the Jewish state.

Several posts were created or shared in the aftermath of Hamas’s October 7, 2023, massacre, when terrorists killed 1,200 Israeli civilians.

One graphic created by Duwaji depicted a stack of U.S. bills labeled “Israeli war crimes.”

A left-wing streamer who apparently used a shock collar on his dog during a live stream said Tuesday night that it was unfortunate that the Soviet Union lost the Cold War.

Hasan Piker, whose use of the collar on his dog while streaming generated criticism from Vice President J.D. Vance, had earlier been kept out of the VIP area of Democratic Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani of New York City’s election night party. A reporter asked Piker about the fact that Mamdani won despite being labeled a “communist” by critics, including President Donald Trump.

“I think we are in the heart of the imperial core. This is the country that defeated the USSR, unfortunately, and the reality of the matter is, there’s a lot of antagonism,” Piker said. “There’s no class consciousness in the United States of America. It’s one of the things I try to address every day with my commentary.”

A leaked document from a November 2 meeting of the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America reveals a series of extreme anti-Israel demands the group is preparing to press Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani to adopt. Having helped propel him to victory, the DSA now appears eager to collect on its investment.

Although Mamdani is a long-time member of the DSA who clearly aligns with its anti-Israeli agenda, members are clearly worried he might yield to political pressure once he takes office.

Just the News’ Jerry Dunleavy obtained an internal Anti-War Working Group document that details what the DSA plans to demand of Mamdani.

Bishop Julius Jia Zhiguo, a leader of China’s underground Catholic Church who endured decades of persecution under the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), has died at 90 years old. Yet his passing has drawn no official response from the Vatican. Bishop Jia, long targeted for his pastoral ministry, was repeatedly arrested by the Communist Party.

Starting in 1962, Bishop Jia endured multiple prison terms, ranging from periods of house arrest to as long as 15 years in confinement, for refusing to submit to the regime’s state-sanctioned church. His arrests marked significant stoppages in negotiations between Rome and China.

House Democrats have been caught spreading a video on social media that promotes false claims about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and their operations.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a detailed rebuttal on Friday after the misleading video was deceitfully reposted and amplified by House Homeland Security Committee Democrats.

The video misrepresented an ICE enforcement operation in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

The committee’s official account on X accused DHS of dishonesty.

While sharing footage of the arrest, the account wrote:

“DHS will lie. They always do,”

A gunman allegedly opened fire on U.S. Border Patrol agents conducting immigration enforcement operations in Chicago Tuesday, forcing officers to call for police backup.

The shooting occurred near 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue when an unknown male in a black Jeep fired shots at federal agents before fleeing the scene, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Others at the scene threw a paint can and bricks at Border Patrol vehicles.

Chicago Police responded to assist and cleared the area. The shooter and vehicle remain at large.

The abortion industry’s ugliest secret is that babies are regularly born alive after attempted abortions and left to die by the medical professionals who had just tried to kill them. There are frequent and documented examples of this in just the past several years in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and in Ireland, where abortion has only been legal since 2019.

Now government data has confirmed that in New Zealand, babies are being born alive after attempted abortions at least once a month and, as is standard practice, are dying without being provided medical care. Abortion is legal on demand until 20 weeks of pregnancy and is frequently perpetrated afterwards if a doctor signs off that it is necessary for “health” reasons.

Family First New Zealand reported they were able to obtain government data after filing an official request, and discovered preborn children survive attempted abortions on a regular basis,” Live Action News reported. “Since 2020, 80 attempted abortions have resulted in live births, though the real number may be even higher, as some districts did not provide the information. The abortion survivors were between 20 and 30 weeks gestation, and received no life-saving care.”

After several busy days of Conservative Party conference lobbying politicians and darting between fringe events, I decided to venture down enemy territory lane and attend the Dignity in Dying (DiD) panel fringe event. Contrary to what the media might have you believe, fringe events were packed, people spilling out like sardines into the corridors, and I often found myself turning up a good half-hour early just to secure a standing spot, never mind a seat sandwiched between two delegates.

Upon arrival at the DiD panel, it was the first room I had walked into where the room was full of empty seats.

On the panel sat the Rt. Hon. Kit Malthouse MP, Dr. Neil Shastri-Hurst MP, David Barker (Chief Executive, Willow Burn Hospice) Nick Hoile (Board Member for Dignity in Dying) and Rebecca Gillanders, a volunteer.

A federal judge who was nominated to the bench by President Donald Trump has permanently blocked the 47th president from deploying the National Guard to Portland, Oregon, in response to demonstrations against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in that city.

U.S. District Judge Karin J. Immergut, who issued a preliminary injunction last month preventing the president’s troop order, ruled Friday that Trump overstepped his authority by federalizing Oregon’s National Guard soldiers.

President Trump nominated Judge Immergut to the federal bench in 2018 during his first term.

On Friday’s The 11th Hour on MSNBC, panelists all went left in their choices for MVP of the week with praise going to the man who threw a sandwich at an ICE agent in D.C., the jury that acquitted him, and socialist Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani (D-New  York).

Host Stephanie Ruhle first went to Betches co-founder Sami Sage who oozed: “The D.C. sandwich guy who was found not guilty of assaulting an ICE officer, and I just think it’s a lovely, you know, non-violent type of resistance.” If someone threw a sandwich at Sage, would she find it “nonviolent”?

After Ruhle responded, “Throwing a sandwich?” Sage added: “Yeah, why not?”

Zohran Mamdani is now the Mayor-elect of New York City. During his campaign, he “vowed to ‘protect New Yorkers from’ pro-life pregnancy centers which he accused of spreading ‘false or deceptive information.’” His threat refers directly to CompassCare. CompassCare runs the only three pro-life medical pregnancy centers in all of New York City. His threat mimics the lawsuit brought by pro-abortion activist Letitia James, New York’s Attorney General, who endorsed Mamdani’s mayoral bid.

Many people are asking how the newly elected, self-avowed, Islamic communist will impact the already battered Christian pro-life medical pregnancy centers like CompassCare. The Christian pro-life pregnancy network is already managing lawsuits with New York State Legislation, lawsuits with New York City ordinances, lawsuits from New York Attorney General Letitia James, Big Tech censorship, and security concerns of a resurgence of pro-abortion violence, emboldened by the revolutionary rhetoric from Marxist politicians in Democrat clothes.

Several years ago, I traveled to Amsterdam as part of the National Right to Life delegation for a multi-issue pro-family conference. The event brought together representatives from dozens of countries and organizations working in maternal health, children’s welfare, family policy, and religious freedom. Over the course of four days, the conference addressed a spectrum of bioethical concerns: euthanasia, adoption, trafficking, and the global expansion of abortion access under the guise of reproductive health.

Our delegation included Dr. Wanda Franz, then president of National Right to Life, and her husband, Dr. Gunter Franz, as well as Olivia Gans. We installed NRLC’s large exhibit booth in the main convention hall. It featured fetal development models, scientific literature, fact sheets, and multilingual brochures explaining the consequences of legalized abortion. The aim was to present abortion not as a theoretical concept but as a physical reality, one that leaves lasting scars on families and societies.

The media have been inundating Americans with stories of ICE’s cruelty to old ladies, babies, innocent men, and ordinary “Americans”—almost all of them here illegally, of course. It’s a non-stop drip of poisonous claims against federal law enforcement officers, all intended to make them look like Nazi stormtroopers attacking utterly innocent people who just happen to be here illegally, and are occasionally murderers, rapists, and pedophiles.

Nor are these stories just appearing on social media. “Reputable” news outlets are covering them, keeping the inflammatory material in the first paragraphs and burying the exculpatory facts deep in the articles.

In previous reports, we proved that UWA was involved in the push for same-sex “marriage” around 2011, and in 2020, we showed how UWA was fueling the flames of violence with its vicious rhetoric calling for the defunding of the police. All of that information will be provided at the end of this report, following these more recent discoveries.

A Chinese consul general in Japan threatened to decapitate the nation’s new prime minister over her comments in defense of Taiwan, prompting outrage in Tokyo and underscoring the rising tension between the two regional powers.

Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, who took office last month, told a parliamentary committee Friday that a Chinese blockade of Taiwan would likely create a “survival-threatening situation” for Japan — one that could compel Tokyo to deploy its Self-Defense Forces in response. The democratically governed island sits just 60 miles from Japanese territory.

Xue Jian, the Chinese consul general in Osaka, fired back in a since-deleted X post on Sunday: “That filthy neck that barged in on its own — I’ve got no choice but to cut it off without a moment’s hesitation. Are you prepared for that?”

The successful campaign to overturn Roe v. Wade did not just impact abortion care—it moved us ever closer to a world in which pregnancies belong to the state and not to the women and others with capacity for pregnancy who carry them. Those of us fighting for reproductive justice in the United States must continue to speak about these connections and the fact that abortion law can and will be wielded as a weapon against anyone with capacity for pregnancy whether they are already pregnant, seeking pregnancy, carrying a doomed pregnancy, or even dying from a pregnancy. We already see this in the dozens of states that disregard the wishes of pregnant people by carving them out of living will statutes or courts that force obstetric interventions like C-sections on non-consenting patients, and as described here, the slow slide toward legal protection for embryos.

It’s irresolvable to give an embryo or fetus rights without diminishing the rights of pregnant people. By contrast, it is absolutely possible to show respect for embryos and fetuses without denigrating the decision-making capacities of people who happen to be pregnant. Now, not 50 years from now, is the time to decisively and defiantly stand up for pregnant people and people seeking pregnancy before their status as second-class citizens becomes so deeply entrenched in the law that it is almost impossible to detach.

As protests continue against the new government in South Korea over its seeming embrace of China and North Korea, the Democrats prepare to crack down on the dissenters. The Democratic Party of Korea is introducing multiple bills in the legislature it controls that would criminalize anti-China protests.

Democratic Party Representative Yang Bu-nam introduced an amendment to the criminal act that would prohibit anti-China protests. He justified the actions, claiming, “On March 3 of last month, participants at an anti-China rally sang a song containing lyrics like ‘Changgae, Bukgye, and red communists should leave quickly’ and used profanity, spreading false claims about Chinese interference in elections.”

Democratic Party Proposes Prison for Anti-China Defamation  조선일보

The Democratic Party of Korea has consecutively proposed bills targeting anti-China protests. The People Power Party has reacted by criticizing, “They remain silent on anti-U.S. and anti-Japan protests but single out anti-China demonstrations.” Critics argue that the Democratic Party, which has long emphasized the freedom of assembly and expression, is now leading efforts to suppress protests. On the 6th, the party also passed an amendment to the Aviation Safety Act at the National Assembly’s Legislation and Judiciary Committee, banning the distribution of anti-North Korea leaflets in no-fly zones near border areas. The People Power Party opposed the move, stating, “It has unconstitutional elements, including infringing on freedom of expression.”

Democratic Party Representative Yang Bu-nam proposed a Criminal Act amendment on the 4th to recognize defamation against specific groups. Under the bill, those who defame the honor of specific nations, peoples, or races face up to five years in prison or a fine of up to 10 million Korean won, while those who publicly insult them face up to one year in prison or a fine of up to 2 million Korean won. Current law limits defamation and insult victims to individuals, but the amendment expands this to groups.

Numerous Democrats, including Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL) and Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) have been spreading a lie shared by DNC media like CNN that ICE arrested a daycare worker without a warrant. The narrative was that ICE showed up to a daycare to arrest a preschool teacher in front of her students.

ICE wrote in response to one Democrat, who was pushing the DNC media narrative: “Congressman, you are deliberately misrepresenting the facts,” the agency wrote. “ICE law enforcement did NOT target a daycare and were only at this location because the female illegal alien fled inside… (the woman and her male partner) ran into a daycare and attempted to barricade themselves inside the daycare — recklessly endangering the children inside. The illegal alien female was arrested inside a vestibule, not in the school. Upon arrest, she lied about her identity.”

“ICE isn’t going after the worst of the worst. This morning, they took a preschool teacher without a warrant IN FRONT OF CHILDREN in my district,” he added to the post.

Milo Sedarat, 19, went online and threatened to murder Jews in a mass shooting attack. He said “Line up like 500 Jews and execute them in front of their wives and family. Then take all their wives [as] slaves. Imma have like 10 yahood slave girls inshallah.”

Sedarat calls himself “the biggest antisemite in America.” He is the son of an Iranian poet. He comes from a family worth millions. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey arrested Sedarat. They also accuse him of plotting to run down a pro-Israel demonstration in Montclair.

The Democratic Socialists of America helped deliver their fellow comrade, Zohran Mamdani, the NYC mayorship on Tuesday. Now they have presented their demands and they all concern the Jews.

The document reads like an order from the Third Reich.

And over one-third of New York Jews voted for Mamdani, significantly lower than the usual  New York Jewish vote for Democrats.

Just the News obtained internal plans from the Democratic Socialists of America detailing how the NYC-DSA branch that Zohran Mamdani belongs to intends to pressure him to inject antisemitic policies into the management — and life — of the Big Apple.

The document from the group, obtained by Just the News, is titled “AWWG Palestine Policy Meeting Meeting Agenda & Notes” — and it contains the internal plans of the DSA working group. The document was obtained when a Just the News reporter used his real name to RSVP to an AWWG meeting that was listed as open to the public.

This reporter was sent a Zoom link to join, and a Google document containing the AWWG strategy document, reproduced below, was publicly shared in the Zoom chat. The link to the document has since been disabled.

“All proper paperwork for this standard donation is on file,” Bowser’s office said.

Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is reportedly the target of a federal corruption investigation over a trip she took with members of staff that was paid for by Qatar.

People familiar with the matter told the New York Times that the inquiry is based on potential bribery or campaign finance law violations. The investigation has reportedly been underway for months, and is being handled by the US Attorney’s Office in Washington.

Bowser’s office said in a written statement, “This was a business trip. DC representatives regularly travel to promote Washington as a destination for investment and growth.” The office said that those efforts have brought business to the city. “All proper paperwork for this standard donation is on file.”

The probe began after a local news report in April 2025 regarding Bowser and four members of her staff traveling to Dubai in 2023 for a United Nations conference. The mayor’s office said when asked about the trip that it had been paid for by the DC Chamber of Commerce, however, the office later claimed that it had been covered by the US Conference of Mayors.

It cannot be overstated: Zohran Mamdani’s Tuesday night victory in New York City’s mayoral race marked a watershed moment for both Muslim and socialist activists — not only across the five boroughs, but throughout the nation. The displays of hubris began almost immediately after Mamdani was declared the winner — and have shown no sign of slowing since.

One of the most revealing — and frightening — reactions came from an unidentified Muslim man who interpreted Mamdani’s triumph as nothing less than divine approval for Islam’s ultimate conquest of America.

In the video below, he told supporters:

We’re done hiding. We’re done being tortured and hurt and judged. This is the correct religion. This is the religion that all of humanity needs to be a part of Islam [sic], and we will not stop until it enters every home.

I wanna hear it in every single district. It should tremble. Brooklyn should hear it. The Bronx should hear it. Queens should hear it. Say it as if the ummah depends on this, my brothers and sisters.
