Blurb:

Democratic Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson emasculated himself by suggesting he wouldn’t deport an illegal alien who hypothetically beat up and raped his wife.

Johnson — who has been obstructing President Donald Trump’s efforts to rid his crime-infested city of violent illegal aliens — made the cowardly admission at a news conference Tuesday.

Reporter William Kelly teed up Johnson’s humiliating self-own by recounting a crime that occurred last month, in which an illegal alien from Nicaragua grabbed a woman on the street, bashed her head in, and raped her.

“If that had been your wife, Stacie, would you want ICE to deport … that illegal alien? Yes or no?” Kelly asked.

One thing right-wingers have got to stop doing is brushing off the deliberate intentions of Democrats as “insane,” “crazy,” or “unhinged.” They’re not, and to do so is to give them an excuse for their sick behavior, the way a proven murderer hopes to get off with a “temporary insanity” defense.

The temptation is admittedly strong. Democrats do a lot of crazy things, like support and champion every single policy that makes life for the average American poorer, more dangerous, and less meaningful. They’re in favor of open borders and rampant crime. They’re opposed to free speech and fair elections. Anyone would be forgiven for calling them insane.

They’re not. These are their very conscious and very sober positions. There is nothing they say or profess to believe that is misguided or poorly thought out. They mean what they say, and there isn’t a flicker of doubt. That it seems “crazy” or “insane” speaks to a lack of understanding of what exactly the modern Democrat Party is.

It’s not a different side of the same coin or a political party with well-meaning differences of opinion. It’s a revolutionary movement that rejects the American way, which is to say the fundamental view that all men and women are created equal and that the rule of law applies to everyone.

Russia seriously damaged one of Ukraine’s thermal power plants in an overnight attack, authorities said on Wednesday, as Moscow continues to pursue its annual campaign to cut Ukrainians off from heat, light and running water as winter approaches.

Two workers were injured in the attack, according to Ukraine’s biggest electricity operator, DTEK. The company provided no further information, such as the location of the plant that was hit.

Ukrainian authorities generally release few details about routine Russian strikes on its power grid in order not to give away intelligence to the enemy.

Russia also struck energy infrastructure in the northern Chernihiv, southern Kherson and southeastern Dnipropetrovsk regions, authorities said.

Ukraine’s air force said it intercepted or jammed 154 out of 183 Russian strike and decoy drones fired at the country.

The energy sector has been a key battleground since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of its neighbour in February 2022.

The scandal whereby Jay Jones, the Democrat nominee in the Virginia attorney general race, sent graphic text messages describing his desire to assassinate a political opponent says much about our current political culture. Beyond how some describe “violent” policies to justify violent actions against their adversaries, it also reflects the practical realities of the way states administer elections.

The candidates at the top of Virginia’s Democrat ticket, gubernatorial nominee Abigail Spanberger and lieutenant governor nominee Ghazala Hashmi, have, as of this writing, refused to demand that Jones remove himself from the ticket. One potential reason for their reluctance to do the obvious “right thing”: It would disenfranchise tens of thousands of Virginia voters.

Jerusalem — Indirect peace talks between Israel and Hamas aimed at ending the war in Gaza and freeing the remaining Israeli hostages resumed Wednesday in Egypt. President Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner were expected to arrive in Egypt on Wednesday to join the conversations, a source familiar with the matter told CBS News.

The war was sparked by the Hamas-led, Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack, in which around 1,200 people were killed and 251 others taken as hostages. Israeli officials believe 48 of those people remain captive, though only 20 are believed to still be alive.

Since that day, the Gaza Strip’s Hamas-run Ministry of Health says Israel’s retaliatory war has killed more than 67,000 Palestinians. Israel disputes that figure but provides no estimate of its own, and the United Nations considers the health ministry’s count the most reliable information available, as Israel has barred foreign journalists from operating independently in Gaza.

Ricardo Pires, a spokesman for the United Nations children’s charity UNICEF, said this week that what he calls Israel’s “disproportionate response” in Gaza has killed or maimed at least 61,000 children since the war started.

Far-left professor Eman Abdelhadi charged with violent felonies after Chicago ICE facility riots

A far-left University of Chicago professor has been arrested and charged with violent felonies following riots at an ICE facility in the city, law enforcement has said.

Eman Abdelhadi, an associate professor in the university’s Department of Comparative Human Development, was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a government employee, a Class 3 felony, and two counts of resisting/obstruction peace, a Class A misdemeanor, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News.

Radical sociologist Abdelhadi, who previously cursed out her employer while speaking at a “Socialism 2025” conference, is due in court again on Tuesday.

Israeli national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir risked derailing hopes of peace in the Middle East by declaring he wants to see Hamas ”destroyed”. Speaking in Jerusalem he said: “I only pray that our Prime Minister (Benjamin Netanyahu) will allow a complete victory in Gaza…to destroy Hamas. With God’s help we will return the hostages, and we will win a complete victory.”

His inflammatory statement came as Israel and Hamas negotiators exchanged lists of the prisoners and hostages who would be released under the terms of any peace deal. Negotiations currently taking place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, are focussed on the “mechanisms for implementing the end of the war, the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, and the exchange of prisoners”. The release of 48 Hamas-held hostages – 20 of whom are thought to be dead – and 1,950 Palestinian prisoners are critical parts of US President Donald Trump‘s 20-point pathway to peace plan. Under the blueprint, Hamas must free all Israeli hostages, dead and alive, before Israel frees 250 Palestinians serving life sentences and 1,700 Gazans detained since the 2023 attacks, including all women and children.

President Trump wanted an agreement reached by the end of the week, but the implementation of the first phase of his roadmap has not yet been agreed.

There has been an occupation of the streets outside the Portland ICE facility for months by the anti-ICE crew.

Over that time, there’s been violence as well as harassment of the agents and the residents of the neighborhood. A resident even brought a lawsuit against the city because of the disruption. People walking through the area were treated to the vile sayings spewed all over the buildings. The actions have largely gone uncovered by the national media. However, there has been great work from brave journalists on the ground for months, including Katie Daviscourt and Shelly Boufferache (@hunnybadgermom), and we’ve covered some of their reporting.

The keffiyeh-wearing demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and also bellowed chants of “It is right to resist, Israel does not exist” in protest of the Jewish state on Tuesday. Many carried signs that read “Long Live the Intifada,” “As the UN is meeting, Gaza is bleeding” and “From New York to Palestine, Starving People is a Crime.” Others banged protest drums and called for the Intifada while holding a massive banner that read “Glory to our Martyrs.” A man carried a banner that appeared to have a jihadist flag adorned with a machine gun

US President Donald Trump has called for the imprisonment of Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois governor JB Pritzker, accusing them of failing to protect federal immigration officers. The remarks, posted on Trump’s social media platform Truth Social, come amid ongoing political tensions over immigration enforcement and the deployment of federal troops in Democratic-led cities.“Chicago Mayor should be in jail for failing to protect ICE Officers! Governor Pritzker also!” Trump wrote, referring to US immigration and customs enforcement personnel operating in the city.

Trump’s comments follow a recent executive order by Johnson that designates city property as an “ICE Free Zone,” restricting federal immigration agents from using municipal facilities. The move was seen as a direct pushback against federal immigration operations within the city.Trump’s statement adds to a broader dispute over the use of the national guard in Democrat-led states. Hundreds of Texas national guard soldiers have reportedly assembled at a military facility near Chicago, despite vocal opposition from state leadership, including Johnson and Pritzker. The administration has not accused either Johnson or Pritzker of any wrongdoing legally. Both leaders have opposed Trump’s immigration policies and criticized what they see as the federal government’s overreach. Pritzker has previously accused Trump of trying to provoke unrest as a means to justify military deployments.

Roblox, which reports more than 111 million active monthly users, is used by roughly two-thirds of American children aged 9 to 12.

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman has filed a lawsuit against Roblox, alleging the company failed to protect minors from sexual predators and explicit material, including violent simulations depicting the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Filed on Monday, the suit accuses the California gaming platform of operating as a “playground for pedophiles” by neglecting to implement any meaningful age verification, moderation, or parental safeguards. Roblox, which reports more than 111 million active monthly users, is used by roughly two-thirds of American children aged 9 to 12.

According to the complaint, predators frequently create fake accounts posing as children to contact and groom minors. “Roblox is designed to allow predators easy access to children,” prosecutors wrote, alleging that the company’s inaction has resulted in “harassment, kidnapping, trafficking, violence, and sexual assault.”

Virginia’s current Attorney General, Democrat Jay Jones had private text messages exposed that revealed his desire to kill his GOP opponent. He claimed that if he had two bullets, his GOP opponent, and two of the evilest people in human history, he’d use both bullets to kill his opponent. He later expressed desire to kill the opponent’s children.

Since his text messages were revealed, it’s also been exposed he promoted killing cops as a way to change their racist behavior. Yet despite all that, the Democratic Party, including their candidate for Governor, continue to support Jones. No top national Democrat has called on him to quit the race. He remains endorsed by all the major gun control groups and top members of the Virginia General Assembly.

Virginia Democrat attorney general candidate Jay Jones continues to hold nearly 200 endorsements from organizations, elected officials, and prominent Democrats, several days after text messages resurfaced from 2022 in which he discussed shooting former Republican House Speaker Todd Gilbert and referenced his children dying. As of Monday, October 6, none of his endorsers have withdrawn their alignment or publicly called for him to drop out of the race.

The fallout erupted late last week after National Review published messages between Jones and Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner. In the texts, Jones wrote that if faced with a choice between shooting two dictators or Gilbert, he would “pick Gilbert every time.” Coyner confirmed that Jones also referenced Gilbert’s children dying “in the arms of their mother.” Jones later apologized, saying he was “deeply sorry” and took “full responsibility” for his comments.

Since the report, calls for Jones to withdraw have come from President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, and Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, who is running for governor. Earle-Sears released an ad Sunday featuring Democratic support of Jones and urging voters to “reject the insanity.” Trump endorsed incumbent Attorney General Jason Miyares, describing Jones’s statements as “sick and demented,” while Miyares called them “disqualifying.”

NY’s unconstitutional “Stop Hiding Hate” act takes effect January 1, 2026, and Letitia James is expecting social media companies to submit their hate speech standards biannually. The key element of the unconstitutional law lies in the requirement by social media companies to effectively show how they’re fighting “hate” on their platform, a term that is highly subjective. A Democrat’s Hate is a Republican’s righteous truth, and vice versa.

Letitia James has informed social media companies of her intention to enforce this Soviet-styled law, setting up a legal showdown for January 1, 2026. The social media companies face potential fines for every violation of the Orwellian law.

A regulatory analysis website, regulatoryoversight.com, summed up the regulations in the law: “Social media companies are required to submit reports twice a year to the New York AG’s office. These reports must include statements on their terms of service, including whether the policy defines terms such as hate speech, racism, extremism, and radicalization, among others. The company must also describe its policy and how it enforces it, such as how the company uses automated process and addresses user reports to address conduct that violates the policy.”

Ratcliffe alleges that Biden directly instructed the CIA not to pursue growing complaints from Ukrainians about the obvious graft the Biden family was receiving. This action allegedly happened in 2015.

An official sent an email on February 16, 2016, spelling out the suppression. He wrote, “Good morning, I just spoke with VP/ NSA, and he would strongly prefer the report not/not be disseminated. Thanks for understanding…” That report cited Ukrainian officials concerned about Biden’s business activities. Intelligence officials initially on the case allegedly claimed at the report should have been disseminated according to protocols.

St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Washington, D.C. may have been the target of a potential terrorist attack. The DC Metropolitan Police confronted 41-year-old Louis Geri of Vineland, NJ just ahead of the “Red Mass,” a mass that was held to pray for legal officials, especially the Supreme Court Judges. The police discovered multiple incendiary devices inside the tent he had set up on the cathedral’s steps.

The motivation for the suspect has not yet been given, though he had been trespassed off the premises before. He is being charged with Unlawful Entry, Threats to Kidnap or Injure a Person, and Possession of a Molotov Cocktail. It is not uncommon for SCOTUS judges to attend the mass.

The Pentagon announced on Monday that it has made changes to the new rules for journalists seeking access to the department. Under the new guidelines, journalists will no longer need departmental approval before publishing articles containing non-official information, reported The New York Times.

The revised draft states that journalists are not obligated to submit their work for approval before publication. However, it specifies situations in which journalists might be considered “security risks” and have their credentials revoked.

News outlets seeking Pentagon access will have one week to review and decide whether to sign the new policy. Those who decline may lose their press credentials. Signing indicates acknowledgment of the outlined policies and procedures.

In September, the Pentagon announced new rules requiring reporters covering the War Department to use only officially approved information or risk losing their press credentials.

State and federal authorities in Maine are investigating a jaw-dropping case of 250 blank ballots that were delivered to a voter in an Amazon box.

The inexplicable oversight is casting a pall over the office of Shenna Bellows, the Democratic secretary of state who last year attempted to keep President Donald Trump off Maine’s presidential ballot. Authorities were made aware after the ballots were reported missing by the town of Ellsworth, and a resident later called to report that her unanticipated Amazon delivery contained them.

The box appeared to have been opened and retaped when it arrived, the woman told investigators.

“Safe and secure elections are my top priority. As soon as we became aware of allegations of ballots being received outside of the appropriate chain of custody, I immediately initiated an investigation through my Secretary of State’s law enforcement division. Law enforcement is working diligently to determine who is responsible, and they will be held accountable. We will not stop until we have answers,” Bellows said in a statement to ABC News.

“This year, it seems that there may have been attempts to interrupt the distribution of ballots and ballot materials,” Bellows said later at a press conference.

“I have full confidence that law enforcement will determine who is responsible, and any bad actor will be held accountable,” she added.

CBS Blames ICE for the Attempts to Kill Agents– www.newsbusters.org

Amid several attempts across the nation by left-wing extremists to kill Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, CBS News Sunday Morning appeared to blame the actions of ICE for the attacks. CBS alluded to ICE being the source of the violence, twisted the story of a young illegal immigrant, and talked for a former ICE attorney all to allude to a false fact that ICE deserved the attempts to kill their agents. The reporter behind the segment even suggested it was a “David versus Goliath” fight.

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE, is now effectively the highest-funded federal law enforcement agency in the nation. Some have cheered its growth. Others are wondering, when does more become too much?” chided host Jane Pauley as she introduced the segment which was delivered by correspondent Lee Cowan.

Though not explicitly calling it such, Cowan’s report essentially consisted of listing out the purported transgressions that caused ICE agents to deserve the attempts on their lives, even blaming them for the violence brought against them, and accusing them of racism:

COWAN: Thirteen members of his congregation were arrested that day. The Trump Administration no longer considers schools, and hospitals and churches “protected sensitive locations” anymore. So, the following Sunday, Father Jamie told the faithful to stay away.

(…)

COWAN: In Los Angeles, that fear turned to anger, and anger into violence [shows law enforcement shooting off tear gas].

The raids were challenged in court for being indiscriminate and based on skin color, but ultimately the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the raids could continue. Since then, in city after city, the administration has been testing the court`s limits, especially in Chicago.

GOV. JB PRITZKER (D-IL): ICE is running around the Loop harassing people for not being white. Just a year ago, that was illegal in the United States. Now, ICE is making it commonplace.

COWAN: Late Saturday, the Trump administration federalized 300 members of the Illinois National Guard, a move Pritzker insists is unnecessary.

(…)

COWAN: In fact, this past week, while addressing top military brass, he suggested American cities could serve as “training grounds” for U.S. combat troops.

Three weeks after Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the media are back to promoting full-throated Nazi smears, especially denouncing ICE agents as Trump’s “Gestapo.” The ICE raid on a Chicago apartment complex spurred a new round of wild-eyed statements that ICE are Trump’s Gestapo. Network hosts let it fester. “Fact checkers” will not get involved.

MRCTV Managing Editor Brittany Hughes and NewsBusters news analyst and Radio Libre talk show host Jorge Bonilla join the show to discuss all things immigration.

Jorge reported CBS Face The Nation host Margaret Brennan sat passively as Illinois Democrat Senator Tammy Duckworth repeated what is now known as the Zip-Tie Hoax: the debunked claim that children were zip-tied during ICE raids in Chicago. Additionally, Duckworth was allowed to incite further violence against ICE with her incendiary claim that they engage in “Gestapo tactics.”

On Saturday’s The Weekend show, MSNBC hosts Jonathan Capehart and Jackie Alemany enabled the throwing around of more Nazi references as one guest excoriated ICE as “Trump’s Gestapo,” and another called it Trump’s own “national police” that has no accountability.

It’s Hamas who reveres the Nazis, but the media empathize with them all day long.

MSNBC host Ali Velshi suggested the Chicago raid — with 37 arrests and no deaths — was “one of the darkest days in modern American history.” So ICE is like al-Qaeda on 9/11, like Timothy McVeigh bombing the federal building in Oklahoma City? Chicago faces darker moments of death every weekend on their streets.

The White House is scrutinizing ways to keep federal workers who were furloughed during the government shutdown from receiving back pay.

The Trump administration is eyeing a memo from the Office of Management and Budget that asserts there is a loophole in a 2019 federal law seeking to ensure government workers are guaranteed retroactive compensation for time off during shutdowns, an administration official confirmed to the Washington Examiner.

The development comes as President Donald Trump and Republican leadership in the House and Senate seek to increase pressure on Democrats to pass a “clean” continuing resolution to reopen the government. If the White House acts on OMB’s recommendation, the Trump administration will say Democrats are to blame for as many as 750,000 federal workers being denied retroactive pay due to accusations that the opposition triggered the move by thwarting the CR’s passage.

The memo from OMB Director Russell Vought’s office argues that an amendment made to the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act nine days after the law’s original signing changes the interpretation of the back pay protections for furloughed workers, according to Axios. Rather than workers automatically getting back pay under GEFTA, Congress would have to get involved in funding retroactive salaries, under OMB’s interpretation of the law.

Fully embracing anarchy, Democrat leaders in Chicago, a sanctuary city; and in Illinois, a sanctuary state, are using every possible method to thwart federal immigration authorities from removing illegal aliens and curtailing rampant crime there.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson issued an executive order Monday creating an ICE Free Zone, preventing ICE from using city property, such as parking lots, as staging areas, or for enforcement actions. City agencies are directed to use physical barriers like locked gates to limit access to city property, and report to the mayor any attempted use of city property for immigration enforcement. Chicago taxpayers will fund a city-wide distribution of “Know Your Rights” materials for employees, tenants, and security staff, training them to deal with federal agents wishing to use city property.

Gov. JB Pritzker announced the state filed a lawsuit Monday seeking a temporary restraining order to block President Donald Trump from using Illinois and Texas National Guard troops to manage crime in Chicago.

“Illinois is going to use every lever at our disposal to resist this power grab and get (DHS Sec. Kristi) Noem’s thugs hell out of Chicago,” Pritzker said in a Monday afternoon press conference. He also said several times that Texas troops should, “stay the hell out of Illinois.”

Over the weekend, Oct. 4, Border Patrol agents were conducting a patrol in Chicago when their vehicle was rammed by other vehicles and they were boxed in by 10 cars, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) statement.

Federal agents on Monday intercepted a Chicago gang leader who they claim was hiring for the assassination of a senior official in the U.S. Border Patrol, interfering with the gang’s illicit activities.

Juan Espinoza Martinez, a leading figure in the Latin Kings, was arrested as part of “Operation Midway Blitz” after allegedly offering cash bounties to any individuals who could carry out the murder of a top official in the Border Patrol, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security identified the official being targeted as Commander at Large of the U.S. Border Patrol, Chief Gregory Bovino.

U.S. Attorney Andrew S. Boutros called the alleged plot “an attack on the rule of law.”

“Putting a price on the life of a law enforcement officer is an attack on the rule of law,” Boutros said. “The defendant’s actions in this case demonstrate a profound contempt for human life and public safety. Under my leadership, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago will hold defendants accountable for their grave criminal actions and ensure that no federal officer has to fear for their life for doing their job.”

According to an indictment unsealed on Monday, Martinez is one of the highest sergeants in the Latin Kings, a nationwide gang that’s been linked to bloody murders of police officers, extortion, and human and drug trafficking. DHS said Martinez is from Mexico and entered the U.S. illegally at an unknown date.

Messages allegedly sent by Martinez over Snapchat stated  “2k on information when you get him” and “10k if you take him down.”

The Democrat candidate for Virginia’s attorney general allegedly suggested that if more police officers were killed then they would shoot fewer people, according to new allegations.

Jay Jones allegedly made the violent suggestion in a telephone conversation with Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner in 2020, according to a new report from Virginia Scope.

Coyner said she and Jones had a “heated conversation about public policy and pain involving qualified immunity.”

Coyner said Jones was trying to convince her to agree that police officers should not have qualified immunity (which, in Coyner’s words “protects police officers from personal liability in their line of duty and their line of work”).

“And I said, ‘I believe that people will get killed. Police officers will get killed.’ And [Jones] said, ‘Well, maybe if a few of them died, that they would move on, not shooting people, not killing people.’ And I said, ‘that’s insane.’ But he firmly believed that if you removed qualified immunity, that police officers would act differently, and I firmly believe that it would not result in good public policy, and it would put police officers and the public’s lives at risk if they have to second-guess themselves on a decision they’re making in a moment where someone is doing something violent,” Coyner said.

President Donald Trump has finally named the enemy: Mexican drug cartels. Declaring them unlawful combatants and recognizing a “non-international armed conflict” marks one of the most consequential national security shifts in modern history.

For decades, Washington treated cartel violence as a crime — a problem for prosecutors, not generals. Indictments were filed, assets seized, and sanctions imposed. But the cartels fought a different kind of war, one that combined terror, intelligence, and territorial control. Calling it “crime” guaranteed defeat.

We refused to define the cartels as belligerents — and fought the wrong fight.

According to the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project, Mexico ranks among the world’s most violent conflict zones — behind only Palestine, Myanmar, and Syria. It is also the second-most dangerous country for civilians. Those numbers are not from a failed state overseas. They come from our southern border, where cartel wars spill into American communities daily.

Britain will “never surrender” to far-right protesters who use the national flag as cover for violence and intimidation, United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer says after violent scenes at one of the country’s largest far-right demonstrations in decades.

More than 110,000 people marched through central London on Saturday in a protest against immigration led by far-right activist Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. Some attending the Unite the Kingdom rally clashed with police. Twenty-six officers were injured, and at least 24 people were arrested, according to the Metropolitan Police.
