British politicians condemn Elon Musk’s comments at anti-migrant rally– abcnews.go.com

LONDON — Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday condemned “dangerous” comments by Elon Musk after the X and Tesla owner told an anti-immigration rally that violence is coming to Britain and they must fight or die. But the U.K. government resisted opposition calls to sanction Musk for the remarks.

Starmer denounced violence on the fringes of Saturday’s 100,000 or more-strong “Unite the Kingdom” demonstration in London organized by far-right campaigner Tommy Robinson.

Police said 26 officers were injured, four seriously, as a minority among the protesters tried to breach lines separating them from a smaller anti-racist counter-demonstration. There were 25 people arrested at the event and the Metropolitan Police said more arrests would follow.

Addressing the demonstration by video link, Musk called for the dissolution of Parliament and an early election to remove Starmer’s center-left government. He told protesters “violence is coming to you” and “you either fight back or you die.”

Starmer’s spokesman, Dave Pares, said he didn’t think “the British public will have any truck with that kind of language.

“The U.K. is a fair, tolerant and decent country, so the last thing that British people want is dangerous and inflammatory language which threatens violence and intimidation on our streets,” he said.

Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats, the third-largest party in Britain’s Parliament, urged Starmer, Conservative opposition leader Kemi Badenoch and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage to join him in condemning Musk’s attempt “to sow discord and incite violence on our streets” and interfere with British democracy.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed Monday that suspect Tyler Robinson’s DNA was found on evidence at the crime scene.

Speaking to “Fox & Friends,” Patel said Robinson’s DNA was discovered on a screwdriver left on the rooftop where the shot was fired at Charlie Kirk, as well as on a towel that was wrapped around the rifle used in the assassination.

“I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody,” Patel said.

The FBI director also revealed that Robinson told another individual in a text message exchange that “he had an opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and he was going to do it because of his hatred for what Charlie stood for,” Patel said.

Co-host Brian Kilmeade followed up to ask about a written note from Robinson prior to the shooting.

Patel confirmed its existence and said even though it had been destroyed, the FBI “found forensic evidence of the note, and we have confirmed what that note says because of our aggressive interview posture at the FBI.”

The note, which echoed what Robinson wrote in the text message referenced earlier, said “I have the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I’m going to take it,” Patel told the hosts, paraphrasing.

E. Jean Carroll ADMITS She Used “Tricks” to Look “F*ckable” to Sway the Jury– wltreport.com

This is just disgusting…

E. Jean Carroll, the deranged woman who accused President Trump of raping her in the ’90s, just confessed that the entire trial was an act — complete with costumes.

In order to win her case, Caroll says that she and her lawyers manipulated her hair, makeup, and clothes in order to appear “f*ckable” to the jurors and convince them she was sexually-desirable to President Trump.

She said she cut her hair into the same style she had it in the ’90s and wore the same exact clothing. A makeup artist did her hair and makeup before the trial everyday, for the big show.

She admitted, “It was enough, it was enough. It was a trick.”

Watch this for yourself:

This reeks of delusion.

President Trump notoriously shut down Carroll’s rape accusation, claiming that she isn’t even his “type.”

For reference, this is her in the ’90s:

I could be wrong, but I really don’t think Carroll’s “trick” worked as well as she thinks it did…

Still, it’s an admission of fraud.

We knew she was a fraudster this entire time, but to hear her say it — point-blank — is frankly, disturbing.

Carroll’s admission comes right on the heels of a federal appeals court handing her a win and upholding the case.

Fox News reported:

President Donald Trump is still facing a $83.3 million payment to writer E. Jean Carroll after a federal appeals court rejected his challenge of a defamation verdict against him Monday.

The ruling from the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upholds a lower court decision finding that Trump did, in fact, defame Carroll. Trump’s lawyers argued his comments about Carroll were protected by presidential immunity and that the verdict in the case was unjust. The three-judge panel rejected both of those claims.

“We conclude that Trump has failed to identify any grounds that would warrant reconsidering our prior holding on presidential immunity. We also conclude that the district court did not err in any of the challenged rulings and that the jury’s damages awards are fair and reasonable,” the court opinion read.

“The record in this case supports the district court’s determination that the ‘the degree of reprehensibility’ of Mr. Trump’s conduct was remarkably high, perhaps unprecedented,” the court added.

The appeals court should have seen this video before ruling on that case…

On another note, did anyone else notice the background?

Is that Carroll’s house?!

If so, that hoarding situation she’s got going on is yet another testament to her insanity.

What a nasty woman.

What is the Purpose of the Oil Refinery?

What is the Purpose of the Oil Refinery?

With two oil refineries already shut down thanks to California’s anti-energy “climate change” laws making the cost of refining increasingly non-profitable, California is desperate to hold on to another refinery, Valero, whose Benicia plant is slated to shut down in April of 2026. Lawmakers are negotiating the possibility of essentially subsidizing the plant (paying for the cost of their regulations) to the tune of $80 million minimum, $200 million max.

After years of enforcing stringent regulations that helped force major refineries to close, California Democrats are now reportedly considering paying Valero millions to keep a San Francisco-area fuel plant afloat.

With two major refineries already scheduled to shut down and strict regulations in place, concerns about California’s already high gas prices have become a top issue for lawmakers. According to a Bloomberg report Tuesday, sources familiar with the private deliberations said lawmakers have discussed whether to pay Valero between $80 million and $200 million in state funds to keep its Benicia refinery operating.

The Benicia plant is slated to close by April 2026. The proposed payment would be earmarked for routine maintenance, one of the largest costs for refineries, Bloomberg reported.

When asked about the report and how the state has handled the refinery closures, Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office told the Daily Caller News Foundation it had no information to share.

Trump Says ‘It’s Time to Stop This Madness’ in Response to Brutal Murder of Ukrainian Woman in Charlotte; ‘We Have to Respond With Force and Strength’– amgreatness.com

President Trump on Tuesday called for stricter law enforcement measures in the wake of a slew of horrific and senseless black on white murders.

The gut-wrenching murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte,  North Carolina, last month, in particular, has captured the attention of the president, who condemned the attack as a preventable tragedy resulting from weak Democrat criminal justice policies.

Zarutska, 23, was brutally stabbed on the neck by Decarlos Brown Jr., a homicidal maniac with an extensive criminal history, while riding on a Charlotte light rail train on August 22, 2025.

The president said it’s time “to stop this madness,” adding that he stands with victims and law-abiding citizens, while Democrats side with criminals, gang members, and thugs.

“For far too long, Americans have been forced to put up with Democrat-run cities that set loose savage, bloodthirsty criminals to prey on innocent people—really very, very innocent people,” Trump said in a White House video, Tuesday.  “In every place they control, radical left judges, politicians, and activists have adopted a policy of catch and release for thugs and killers,” Trump continued.

“In Charlotte North Carolina, we saw the results of these policies when a 23-year-old woman who came here from Ukraine met her bloody end on a public train,” Trump lamented. “She was slaughtered by a deranged monster who was roaming free after 14 prior arrests.”

On Monday afternoon’s CNN News Central, chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst John Miller and chief media analyst Brian Stelter offered two ridiculous reactions to last month’s brutal murder in Charlotte, North Carolina of a Ukrainian refugee allegedly at the hands of a thug with 14 prior arrests.

For the latter, it was a lack of government-funded mental health care while the latter bemoaned those outraged have been dabbling in racism.

Fill-in co-host Danny Freeman huffed at the top in a tease: “Fueling a political firestorm. How a video of a deadly stabbing in Charlotte has turned into a flashpoint as the administration pushes its crime crackdown.”

Notice how it’s always painted as a negative and political when CNN’s enemies blow the whistle on something being a problem.

After a set-up from co-host Brianna Keilar and sound of President Trump offering his condolences to the family of Iryna Kartuska, Miller went first and described the video then chalked it up to “someone who has a mental health history” and “clearly fell between the cracks in terms of the kind of treatment he was getting and this terrible, terrible crime.”

On the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, set for Friday, pro-life advocates across the United States will gather to honor the estimated 66 million unborn children lost to abortion since its nationwide legalization in 1973.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, a graveside memorial service at 5:30 p.m. at Sandia Memorial Gardens will commemorate the sanctity of these lives, underscoring the ongoing fight to protect the unborn amid a deeply divided nation.

The annual observance, now in its 12th year, calls attention to the profound loss of innocent human life and the enduring pain of mothers affected by abortion.

Pro-life groups emphasize that each unborn child, endowed with inherent dignity from conception, deserves remembrance and justice, even as states grapple with conflicting abortion policies following the 2022 overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Nepal’s deadly Gen Z protests are about more than just a social media ban – National– globalnews.ca

Nepal’s government responded to escalating violent protests over a ban on popular social media platforms with deadly force.

The public outrage over the ban and the deaths of 19 protesters on Monday led to the resignation of the prime minister and exposed deep discontent over corruption.

Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli also rolled backed the short-lived ban after protesters turned their anger on politicians by setting fire to homes of some of the country’s top leaders.

Led by mostly teenagers and young adults, the protests revealed a broader resentment in Nepal, where many people have increasingly become angry with the government over a range of issues, mostly to do with corruption and frustration over nepotism in the country’s politics.

“Protests over the social media ban were just a catalyst. Frustrations over how the country is being run have long been simmering under the surface. People are very angry and Nepal finds itself in a very precarious situation,” said Prateek Pradhan, editor of Baahrakhari, a Nepalese independent news website.

Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has resigned in the wake of public outrage over the killing of 22 people in police clashes with anti-corruption protesters.

His office said he had stepped down to pave the way for a constitutional solution to the massive youth-led protests over widespread allegations of corruption and sparked by a social media ban, which has since been withdrawn.

The protests turned violent as thousands – many identifying themselves as Gen Z on placards and banners – took to the streets of Kathmandu on Monday.

Almost 200 people are believed to have been injured in clashes with police, who used tear gas, water cannons and live bullets as protesters scaled the walls of the parliament and other official buildings.

The protests continued on Tuesday, with demonstrators setting fire to the parliament building, the headquarters of the Nepali Congress Party and the home of former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. The homes of several other politicians have also been vandalised.

Trump fails in bid to fire Lisa Cook as Federal Reserve independence clings on– fortune.com

A federal court ruled Tuesday that embattled Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook can remain in her position while she fights President Donald Trump’s efforts to fire her.

The ruling, which will almost certainly be appealed, is a blow to the Trump administration’s efforts to assert more control over the traditionally independent Fed, which sets short-term interest rates to achieve its congressionally mandated goals of stable prices and maximum employment. Congress has also sought to insulate the Fed from day-to-day politics.

Trump said he was firing Cook on Aug. 25 over allegations raised by one of his appointees that she committed mortgage fraud related to two properties she purchased in 2021, before she joined the Fed. Cook is accused of saying two properties were “primary residences,” which could have resulted in lower down payments and mortgage rates than if either was designated a second home or investment property.

Cook’s lawyers argued that firing her was unlawful because presidents can only fire Fed governors “for cause,” which has typically meant inefficiency, neglect of duty or malfeasance while in office. They also said she was entitled to a hearing and a chance to respond to the charges before being fired, but was not provided either. Her lawsuit denied the charges but did not provide more details.

Censorship Smothers Criticism of Military Parade– chinadigitaltimes.net

A host of measures intended to stifle dissent allowed Beijing’s military parade last week to take place without any major disruptions. The following is a summary of some of these examples of censorship and control.

Some of these measures were implemented before the parade began. A recent censorship directive, leaked online and later translated by CDT, advised cyber-regulators to remain vigilant against a long list of “ideological risks” related to the upcoming military parade and other events during the third quarter of the year. Last week, Laura Bicker at the BBC detailed how Beijing tightened control in the lead-up to the parade:

Airport security scanners have been installed in some office entrances. All drones are banned and international journalists have been visited at home, some on multiple occasions, to ensure they get the message.

Guards have been stationed 24 hours a day at the entrances to overpasses and bridges to prevent any protests, some of them in army uniforms.

A deadly terrorist shooting in the northern neighborhood of Ramot left six people dead and more than a dozen others injured Monday morning. The attack, which took place near a crowded bus stop, has shaken the city and once again placed Israel’s security challenges at the forefront of world attention.

As reported by Israel365 News, two armed terrorists opened fire on civilians with “locally manufactured ‘Carlo’ submachine guns.” The victims included a man and a woman in their 50s, as well as three men in their 30s. Magen David Adom emergency responders rushed to the scene, treating “seven critically injured individuals” while others sustained moderate and light wounds.

Israeli security forces acted quickly, with “an IDF squad commander and an armed civilian neutralizing the attackers on the spot.” Authorities believe the terrorists arrived from a village near Ramallah, and checkpoints between Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria were immediately closed for security sweeps.
