A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer was injured in a vehicle-ramming attack during a targeted operation near Compton, California, Wednesday morning.
Officers were attempting to arrest William Eduardo Moran Carballo, an illegal alien from El Salvador, who was wanted for human smuggling and had two prior arrests for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant. An immigration judge issued him a final order of removal in 2019.

Washington could soon join a handful of states that require public colleges and universities to offer abortion pills on campus.
Lawmakers in the state House listened to testimonies for and against Senate Bill 5826 during a hearing Thursday, The News Tribunereports.
The bill, sponsored by state Sen. T’wina Nobles, D-Fircrest, would require higher education institutions with a health center to offer abortion pills on campus. Institutions without a health center would be required to provide referrals to abortion facilities.
All public colleges and universities also would be required to create a webpage with information about abortion, prenatal care, and other “reproductive health” services.
Rep. John James, a Michigan Republican running for governor, has launched a new ad tying the fate of Trump’s second term and the America First agenda to James’ home state of Michigan.

In the ad, James, currently a Michigan congressman who has “backed President Trump every time,” makes the pitch to MAGA Michiganders that his election to be their next governor is vital to protecting Trump and his ability to continue implementing his policies: “If you care about President Trump, you must stand up for John James.”

An Emerson College Polling national survey released Thursday found that congressional Democrats have a 22-point advantage over Republicans (50% to 28%) with independent voters. The House Oversight Committee issued deposition subpoenas on Aug. 5 to failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton requiring their testimony “related to horrific crimes perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein.”
Evidently the Clintons didn’t feel that they should be held to the same standard to which Democrats previously held President Donald Trump’s former adviser Steve Bannon and current trade adviser Peter Navarro, who were both jailed for defying subpoenas issued by the Jan. 6 committee.

At the center of the operation is Patricia Golder, who, according to the footage, has turned the alleged manipulation of the asylum process into her business. Former Centers for Disease Control Director Robert Redfield made some startling claims in a presentation at a Heritage Foundation Event. At the event, he claimed the Biden administration decided early on that Covid-19 was not a CCP-engineered virus (which it turned out it was) and systematically suppressed data and removed scientists who even considered a “

On Tuesday at The Heritage Foundation, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, and former Centers for Disease Control Director Robert Redfield shed light on how health officials and President Joe Biden’s administration sought to suppress the COVID-19 lab leak theory.
Miller-Meeks told the audience that the Biden administration worked backward from its preferred conclusion rather than grapple with the “spillover” outbreak theory.
“Either I was stupid, and everybody else was vastly more intelligent than I was, or people don’t want people to know, because science isn’t consensus, and I think that’s the biggest thing,” Miller-Meeks said in her opening remarks, noting that dissenting opinions on the origins of the virus should have been welcomed rather than suppressed.
North Dakota’s Attorney General Drew Wrigley has served notice to an abortion drug trafficking company, Prairie Abortion Fund. The pro-unborn-child-murder group has been “providing” the unborn baby murder pill to North Dakota residents in violation of its prescription drug laws.
Attorney General Wrigley stated, “Our BCI [Bureau of Criminal Investigation] was able to purchase abortion pills from websites promoted by Prairie Abortion Fund without providing any health information and without providing any verification of identity or age. These actions pose a significant health risk to pregnant women and facilitate the violation of North Dakota’s healthcare requirements, in part, by taking doctors out of the equation. As a North Dakota nonprofit corporation, by referring and actively linking to websites that unlawfully sells products, Prairie Abortion Fund lends credibility and trustworthiness to unlawful websites that otherwise would look much more suspicious.”
Last Friday, in an aggressive but totally justified action, North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley “issued a Cease & Desist Order against Prairie Abortion Fund, a North Dakota nonprofit corporation located in Fargo, who is actively promoting and facilitating the unlawful sale of abortion pills in North Dakota.
What specifically are they alleged to be doing?
Prairie Abortion Fund violated the North Dakota Consumer Fraud Law, N.D.C.C. ch. 51-15, by promoting and facilitating the unlawful sale of counterfeit, unapproved, untested, misbranded, or misrepresented products, the unlawful sale of products without a required prescription, and the unlawful sale and unsupervised use of products required to be administered under the supervision of a physician.
After nearly 10 years of fighting and winning a SCOTUS decision, Christian organizations have finally officially won their fight to stop forcing religious organizations to fund abortions. New York has officially settled with the Christian organizations, guaranteeing they will no longer be forced to fund abortions.
One of the plaintiffs’ attorneys, Lori Windham, said of the settlement, “For nearly a decade, New York bureaucrats tried to strong-arm nuns into paying for abortions because they serve all those in need. At long last, the state has given up its disgraceful campaign. This victory confirms that the government cannot punish religious ministries for living out their faith by serving everyone. The vigorous cross-examination came during oral arguments for Wolford v. Lopez, which centers around a legal challenge brought by Hawaii residents against a law restricting concealed carry throughout the state. As The Federalist previously reported, the statute criminalizes carrying a gun on private property open to the public unless the carrier receives “express authorization” to do so from the property’s owner, manager, or lessee.
