Make no mistake, Communist China is not slowing down and they are making huge gain using American (much of it stolen) technology. Did the Supreme Court’s liberal justices slow-walk their dissents in litigation over President Trump’s mail-in voting order to run out the clock on its implementation for the 2026 midterms? That seems to be what Justice Samuel Alito subtly suggested in the court’s most recent ruling on the subject.

On Monday night, the high court rejected the Trump administration’s request to pause a lower court blockade on a new U.S. Postal Service rule. As described by Fox News, the new rule required election officials to “submit ballot-envelope designs for approval and upload voter information and unique tracking barcodes to a new USPS portal.”

The decision — which effectively bars the policy from taking effect for the fall elections — was presumably 7-2, with Alito and Justice Clarence Thomas saying they would have granted the government’s request for relief. Aside from Justice Brett Kavanaugh — who said the USPS rule seems lawful but denied the government’s request because it’s too close to the midterms for election officials to implement it — the majority offered little explanation for its decision.

Alito, on the other hand, penned a lengthy dissent (joined by Thomas) outlining several issues with the court’s holding. It was in this opinion that the Bush 43 appointee seemingly telegraphed some potentially nefarious shenanigans by the court’s Democrat appointees in the case.

The apparent hint came in the dissent’s concluding pages, in which Alito refuted the alleged concerns that the Democrat-led states challenging the Postal Service rule had regarding “the practical effects of implementing the rule close to the midterm elections.” While taking “that problem very seriously,” the justice highlighted two key points demonstrating why it isn’t enough to warrant rejecting the government’s request to implement the rule for the 2026 contests.

Congressional Republicans have funded some of that agenda, like immigration enforcement, and passed Trump’s signature One Big Beautiful Bill, which adds incentives for states to crack down on fraud and waste while also introducing no tax on tips and overtime for certain employment sectors.

House Democrats are preparing an extensive slate of investigations into President Donald Trump, his administration and his family if they capture the House in November, with several lawmakers already identifying potential targets for congressional scrutiny.

Democrats would gain control of House committees and subpoena power if they win a majority, giving them significantly greater ability to investigate the administration during Trump’s final two years in office.

Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., said he would focus on the Defense Department, including allegations of mismanagement and possible connections between federal defense spending and companies linked to Trump’s family.

Crow, who serves on the House Armed Services and Intelligence committees, also declined to rule out impeachment as a potential option.

“I won’t hesitate to use that tool if that’s the right one,” Crow told Fox News. “But there are other tools available to us, too.”

Democrat Texas Senate candidate James Talarico denied that Jesus Christ is the way to truth, saying Allah and other religious paths can lead people to the same divine truth.

In a newly resurfaced video, Talarico says Islam and Christianity are “equal pathways to truth,” rejecting the Christian teaching that Jesus Christ is the only path to salvation. Talarico said he views all religions as different paths leading to the same truth.

“I find that they’re all kind of equal pathways to truth. You know, that’s how I think, you know, I always think of all of the world’s faith traditions as like a circle with,” Talarico said. “That divine mystery of the universe in the middle. And we all have different names for that mystery.”

Talarico specifically included Allah, Nirvana, and the Great Spirit among the names he said people use for what he called the same “divine mystery.”

“Whether it’s God or Yahweh or Allah or Nirvana, the Great Spirit, whatever you call it, this is all, you know, different pathways to the same kind of fundamental truth of reality,” Talarico continued.
