Over the weekend, the Lepanto Institute received a tip that the Joseph and Mary’s Home, a project of the Sisters of Charity Health System, hired an “abortion rights” activist to be the new executive director of the organization.

The person who submitted the tip also emailed the Sisters of Charity, Marisa Rohn (the interim executive director for the Joseph and Mary’s Home), and the Diocese of Cleveland in the hopes that the Joseph and Mary’s Home would reverse course on Kait McNeeley’s hiring.

Within 24 hours of this email being submitted, McNeeley’s LinkedIn profile was altered in such a way that her history of working for and supporting abortion and LGBT ideologies was scrubbed.

On May 6, 2012, Vice President Joe Biden declared his support for same-sex “marriage” on NBC’s Meet the Press. The culture, Biden said, had shifted, and it was time for politicians to follow. “I think Will & Grace did more to educate the American public than almost anything anybody has done so far,” he told David Gregory. “People fear that which is different. Now they’re beginning to understand.”

The mainstreaming of LGBT ideology on the big and small screen was not accidental. In the 2020 five-episode documentary series Visible: Out on Television, a parade of actors, producers, directors, and TV hosts detailed exactly how the movement pushed, in public and in private, to shape the stories that shaped America (and beyond).

As one of the main actors on Queer as Folk, a show that featured explicit depictions of homosexuality, put it, “Television has the power to normalize something that people don’t understand.” Peter Paige of Queer as Folk concurred, explaining, “I firmly believe that television is a weapon to be wielded very thoughtfully.” And so it was. The LGBT movement has owned the entertainment industry for decades, and they are secure enough in their ownership to make documentaries explaining how they pulled it off.

Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner announced during a press conference in Memphis on Monday that the federal government will be launching a tip-line  that will allow residents to report illegal aliens or wanted criminals residing in public housing units.

“At HUD, we do believe that public housing should be safe. We believe that, and that’s our conviction. A safe community starts with safe housing. If the housing is safe, the community is safe, and we want to take good care of the most vulnerable people in our country,” Turner said while flanked by Attorney General Pam Bondi and Tennessee Governor Bill Lee.

The secretary said the line will allow public housing residents to call the HUD Office of the Inspector General to report “criminals, illegal aliens, sex offenders, human traffickers, and those guilty of gang activity, drug distribution, and fraud.”

U.S. Catholic Bishops have voted against allowing transgender surgeries or the use of cross-sex hormones in treatments at their biannual plenary assembly. Dr. Michelle Cretella, a CMA member and president of the American College of Pediatricians said of the vote, “The explosion of young people seeking these interventions led to our recognition that this had become a true public health concern and needed to be addressed more prominently and with greater urgency,”

U.S. Catholic bishops voted to prohibit transgender surgeries and the use of cross-sex hormones in Catholic hospitals, in a show of solidarity with Catholic physicians and medical groups who have advocated for an end to the procedures for more than a decade.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) met Nov. 11-13 in Baltimore, Maryland, for their biannual plenary assembly, in which bishops, individuals, and organizations determine and discuss church policy. On Nov. 12, bishops overwhelmingly voted to approve updates to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services (ERDs), including the prohibition of transgender surgical and hormonal manipulation.

Grants pass School district 7 has settled with two teachers, Rachel Sager and Katie Medart, who were punished for not using children’s preferred preferences. The teachers received a $650,000 settlement from the school.

In a major win for the free speech rights of public school educators, Grants Pass School District No. 7 will admit that they wrongfully terminated Rachel Sager and Katie Medart and pay $650,000 in damages and legal fees.

[UPDATE]  An Oregon school district has agreed to pay $650,000 and issue formal apologies after two teachers won a major free speech settlement over their public comments on gender identity education policy.

The settlement ends a multi-year legal battle between Grants Pass School District 7 and former North Middle School educators Rachel Sager and Katie Medart. Attorneys with Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) and the Pacific Justice Institute represented their case, arguing that district officials violated their First Amendment rights and punished them for expressing views on matters of public concern.

Greta Thunberg has been banned from Venice, Italy for 48 hours after a video shows her polluting a national treasure, mainly the Grand Canal, which she turned green from a gondola with the help of her also-banned friends.

Swedish eco-activist Greta Thunberg is at it again. Fresh off her publicity stunt in Gaza, the activist and her comrades turned their sights to Venice, Italy.

But they weren’t there for a gondola ride. Instead, she and her friends tried to make a statement by pouring green dye into the Grand Canal. Now, the city has banned her for two days and imposed a fine, according to The Telegraph.

Canada is now moving to add children to the growing list of people who can be “eligible” for “medically assisted in dying” suicide (MAID). So far, being poor, being disabled, being chronically ill, being depressed, suffering for autism, suffering from PTSD (even if you’re a veteran) qualifies you for MAID. Now, euthanasia advocates are moving their demands from MAID for the adult terminally ill only to “let’s not let age be a limit.”

Dying with Dignity in Canada is lobbying for minors determined to be “mature minors” being made eligible for suicide suggestion by their “doctors.” They are willing to allow children under the age of 15 to kill themselves with parental consent, but once they turn 16 they won’t need their parents’ consent. The push is gaining support in the Liberal-led Parliament.

Blurb:

Canada is once again facing outrage over its rapidly expanding euthanasia regime, as powerful advocacy groups are now pressuring the federal government to open the door to euthanizing children.

The move comes even as Canada already runs one of the most permissive “assisted suicide” systems on the planet.

The Canadian government no longer requires a terminal illness to euthanize citizens, and that has increasingly targeted society’s most vulnerable.

The poor, the disabled, the chronically ill, people suffering from depression and autism, and even veterans seeking help for PTSD, are all being euthanized by the Liberal government.

Now, activists want to take it even further.

Under current law, adults can apply for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) even if they are not dying, so long as they have a chronic illness, a disability, or they are experiencing “suffering.”

A report from the University of California, San Diego has set off alarms about how well prepared high school graduates are for college. According to the report, from the start of the pandemic in 2020 to the current year, the number of high school students with math knowledge below the 8th grade has exploded. In 2020 it was 1%, while today it has exploded to 12%.

This is not the first university to report these numbers. George Mason and Temple have reported similar trends. The problem is not many are interested in measuring such numbers, and DNC corporate media is not interested in covering it. So far, only Fox News has covered what could be a critical fail issue in our public schools.

On Thursday November 6th, the University of California, San Diego released a report that is undoubtedly worthy of the attention of any fair minded news organization. The problem is of course, we don’t have many who would fall under that category. The report shows that from 2020, the start of the pandemic, to this current year, the percentage of incoming freshmen at the University whose math skills are below middle school level, has increased to over 12%, up from less than 1 percent in 2020. Unfortunately, only one network  bothered to include this news in its’ prime time nightly newscast.

CBS, NBC, and ABC were all AWOL on their respective nighty newscasts, and did not mention this story from the day it was released, through and including Thursday of this week. Fox News’s Special Report with Bret Baier did cover it, this Thursday, complete with a package from Chief Correspondent Jonathan Hunt, as part of their continuing series on “Failing Our Children”, a perfect fit.

A poll by Gallup shows in just 10 years the percentage of Americans who say religion is an important part of their daily life went from 66% in 2015 to 49% in 2025. Gallop said the 17-point drop “ranks among the largest Gallup has recorded in any country over any 10-year period since 2007.”

The Trump administration is now formally urging the UK to address its Mass Migration problem The memorandum came from an American communique sent to the Starmer government stating “We encourage your government to ensure that policies protect your citizens from the negative social impacts of mass migration, including displacement, sexual assault, and the breakdown of law and order.”

Later, they specifically cited “organized rape gangs in the United Kingdom” as one of the harmful effects of mass migration. The communique has been sent to all the American embassies of Europe.

U.S. officials will consider enforcement of affirmative action policies and state subsidies for abortion as infringements when compiling the State Department’s annual human rights report, as President Donald Trump’s administration seeks to reshape foreign policy in line with “America First” principles.
Under the Trump administration, the human rights issue has been repurposed to fit his priorities in favor of economic dealmaking and an agenda he sees as appealing to his MAGA base. That has included a complete overhaul of the State Department’s human rights apparatus, which had long been the centerpiece of traditional U.S. promotion of democratic values.

Texas Governor (R) Greg Abbott has declared the Counsil on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Brotherhood foreign terrorist organizations. The move comes after recent reports of widespread “Sharia” zones discovered in Texas where Islamists are ruling as if they are in Saudi Arabia and not America.

The Governor clarified what the ban means, stating it “bans them from buying or acquiring land in Texas and authorizes the Attorney General to sue to shut them down. The Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR have long made their goals clear: to forcibly impose Sharia law and establish Islam’s ‘mastership of the world.’”

Incoming New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani doubled down on his promise to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on an international arrest warrant that is not recognized in U.S. law, setting up a potential act of rebellion against federal authority.

The mayor-elect, a self-styled socialist, has repeatedly pledged that if elected mayor, he would direct the New York Police Department (NYPD) to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he visit the city. Pope Leo has come out in support of a rare special message released by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in recent days that lamented a “climate of fear and anxiety around questions of profiling and immigration enforcement.”

Without mentioning U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration by name, 216 of 224 bishops voted in favour of releasing the message that condemned the “vilification” of migrants and expressed concerns over the fear and anxiety immigration raids have sown in communities, as well as the denial of pastoral care to migrants in detention centres.

Speaking to reporters late Tuesday as he left the papal country house south of Rome, Leo urged Catholics and all people of goodwill to listen to what they said.

“I think we have to look for ways of treating people humanely, treating people with the dignity that they have,” he said. “If people are in the United States illegally, there are ways to treat that. There are courts, there’s a system of justice.”

(LifeSiteNews) — Gunmen have raided a Catholic school in Nigeria and abducted over 50 children as the violence against Christians continues.

In the early hours of Friday morning, the armed attackers arrived at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools in Papiri, Niger State. According to a statement by the Diocese of Kontagora, which confirmed the attack, the assault happened “between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.” A security guard was shot and badly injured in the process.

The diocese “strongly condemned the attack and expressed deep concern for the safety of the kidnapped children and their families.”

According to Nigerian TV station Arise News, 52 schoolchildren were kidnapped by the attackers. The BBC reports that St. Mary’s is a mixed-sex boarding school.

At the start of the semester, Linda-Isabella Rendon began the process of seeking official recognition for a Students for Life of America chapter, writing on the organization’s website she was “shocked that they did not have a pro-life group or similar student organization, which compelled me to start one myself.”

Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway filed a federal lawsuit Thursday challenging the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of a new generic version of the abortion drug mifepristone.

Hanaway is arguing that the decision endangers women by allowing unchecked mail-order distribution without basic medical safeguards.

The suit, joined by Kansas and Idaho, seeks to block the September 30 approval of the generic product from Evita Solutions and restore pre-2016 safety standards for the drug, including requirements for in-person medical evaluations to detect life-threatening conditions like ectopic pregnancies.

Hanaway, a Republican, said the lawsuit supports Missouri’s ongoing multi-state challenge against the FDA’s rollback of safety protections mandated by Congress for mifepristone, which is used in the abortions. The abortion pill has killed multiple women and injured countless thousands.

The recently called Special Session of the Nevada Legislature ended late last night. The Governor called the session to deal with crime, jobs, and healthcare. One of the bills, SB5, creates a new statewide healthcare grant program in the amount of $60 million from the State General Fund to address provider shortages and bolster Nevada’s healthcare infrastructure. It establishes a competitive, metrics driven grant process administered by the Nevada Health Authority.

Once the session started, it was discovered that Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro had inserted a carveout for Planned Parenthood into the bill. Nevada Right to Life worked quickly to raise awareness, communicate concerns, and get an amendment moving, working alongside legislators who were also appalled by the deal. Together, we ensured the issue was addressed immediately. We thank Governor Joe Lombardo for negotiating an amendment to ensure abortions are not funded through SB5.

The National Education Association (NEA) is training teachers to advance gender and racial ideology in classrooms, and to fight Republicans and parent groups who ‘harm us all’ by trying to stop that agenda, according to leaked materials for an upcoming training event.

The materials coach teachers on how to indoctrinate children into progressive dogmas, including gender ideology and pronoun use, among other woke principles.

Cornell grad student union adds resistance ‘by any means’ to anti-Israel resolution

Cornell University’s graduate student union has added support for Palestinian armed resistance “by any means necessary” to a resolution calling for a boycott of Israel that the union will discuss on Thursday.

The union, Cornell Graduate Students United — UE Local 300, in October issued a draft of the resolution to members, titled “International solidarity with the Palestinian liberation struggle.”

The Satanic Temple (TST) has made quite a name for itself with its push for abortion. In 2023, they opened an online abortion clinic called the “Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic,” and last year, they opened the “Right to Your Life Satanic Abortion Clinic” in Virginia.

TST, based in Massachusetts, has made it very clear that they view abortion as a religious right and a “sacrament.” In Idaho, they filed suit against the state’s anti-abortion laws on the grounds of religious freedom. According to the Idaho Statesman, the suit claimed “The ban extracted economic value from pregnant women’s wombs, in violation of the Fifth Amendment; effectively made pregnant women slaves, in violation of the 13th Amendment; gave unconstitutional preferences to rape victims, in violation of the 14th Amendment; and violated Idaho’s religious freedom statutes.”

Remember the 2011 Republican presidential debate when then-Texas Gov. Rick Perry blanked on one of the three federal agencies he campaigned on getting rid of if elected president? It was an unforgettable moment, particularly for Perry.

“And I will tell you, it’s three agencies of government when I get there that are gone: Commerce, Education and the, um, what’s the third one there?” he said, looking like a deer in headlights as the bright lights of the stage washed over him. He tried again. Nope.

RINO Mitt Romney tried to provide a lifeline.

“The EPA?” the former Massachusetts governor offered. Perry should have phoned a friend. “EPA, there you go,” Perry agreed, momentarily relieved. But the Environmental Protection Agency wasn’t the answer.

Perry tried one last time. “The third agency of government I would do away with — the education, the uh, the commerce and let’s see. I can’t the third one. I can’t. Sorry Oops.”

UMich faculty senate urges school to continue performing sex changes for minors

The Faculty Senate at the University of Michigan passed a resolution at its Nov. 3 meeting that pushes the university to resume performing sex changes on minors.

The resolution argues that because “cisgender” patients receive hormone blockers, the university is discriminating against transgender-identifying individuals by refusing to give them care. The resolution does not elaborate further, but could be referring to treatments for precocious puberty, a condition in which young children go through puberty at a very early age.

The university paused “gender-affirming care” at Michigan Medicine for patients under 19 on Aug. 25, due to federal pressure. President Donald Trump signed an executive order in January that threatened loss of federal funding for institutions that failed to eliminate the practice.
