The president of the Austrian Parliament has banned the use of so-called “gender-inclusive” language in official communications of the legislative body.

Walter Rosenkranz, president of the Nationalrat (National Council, Austria’s Lower House of Parliament), recently announced that Parliament will go back to using the generic masculine form of words, or the female and male form as a couple, for instance, when addressing readers as “Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren” (Dear ladies and gentlemen).

Previously, the parliament had used the ideological variant of putting internal capital letters, colons, asterisks, or slashes within nouns that could refer to people of different genders. Signs like the asterisk were meant to include not only females but also people who identify as “transgender.”

If there’s one thing the City of Cincinnati has done as of late, it’s putting Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge on administrative leave. You don’t have to be a legal expert to understand that she has done nothing for the city’s crime problem — and if I didn’t know any better, I might even say things have gotten worse under her watch. However, I do know better, so that is neither here nor there.

According to WCPO:

“The City continues to face serious public safety challenges that underscore the need for stability at the command level. Therefore, I’ve named Assistant Chief Adam Hennie as Interim Police Chief,” City Manager Sheryl Long said in a statement. “Our focus remains on maintaining stability within the department and ensuring the highest standards of service to our residents.

When she became chief, Theetge spoke at length about addressing ongoing gun violence, as well as officer wellness and recruiting. Those three items continued to be top issues in Cincinnati during her tenure.

While police data showed that shootings are down within city limits, data from the summer also showed that crime reports in downtown Cincinnati were on the rise. That includes home burglaries, hundreds of vehicle break-ins and a violent August fight that garnered national attention.

A small North Carolina town saw two churches set on fire Friday night.

The fires took place near Casar, a town of about 300 people located northwest of Charlotte.

According to a Facebook post from the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, the fires were set between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Tabernacle Baptist Church and Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church were both targeted, the post said.

“Fortunately, both fires were spotted by citizens who quickly put the fire out before significant damage occurred. These events are still under investigation,” the post said.

The fight against euthanasia reached a new level yesterday, as Fox News published an article that blows the lid off the sinister nature of the industry.

Reporter Asra Nomani has just published an investigative report detailing the predatory-like behavior of what she calls “Assisted Suicide Inc.”

“A Fox Digital investigation reveals … opponents of euthanasia face a multimillion-dollar global lobby that could be called Assisted Suicide Inc., a sprawling network changing laws worldwide, developing euthanasia services for funeral parlors, selling ‘suicide pods,’ promoting ‘suicide tourism’ and even training ‘doulas for death,’” she writes.

In Ian Fleming’s 1959 James Bond novel Goldfinger, he wrote, “Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it’s enemy action.”

When it comes to NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, we’ve now got him linked to two anti-gay figures. Is that, as Fleming said, a coincidence? Or part of a larger pattern?

Two weeks ago, we learned that Mamdani is acquainted with Rebecca Kadaga, the Ugandan politician who supported legislation that would imprison gays in Uganda for life. Mamdani denied knowing Kadaga, but the New York Post revealed she’s got ties to his family, who own a massive compound in the African nation.

Now we’re learning Mamdani’s imam pal, Siraj Wahhaj, is also anti-gay.

Uruguay, once a conservative pillar in Latin America, has crossed a tragic threshold. Its Senate has voted to legalize euthanasia, turning the nation’s medical profession into an instrument of state-sanctioned death. After eight years of debate and multiple legislative battles, the upper house approved the so-called “Dignified Death.” The law allows doctors to end the lives of patients who claim to suffer “unbearable pain” from incurable conditions.

Uruguay has abandoned life.

On October 15, 2025, Uruguay’s Senate voted 20 to 11 to legalize euthanasia. This followed a 64 to 29 vote by the Chamber of Representatives on August 13, 2025. With those two votes, Uruguay’s legislature handed doctors the legal authority to kill. The left-wing government of President Yamandú Orsi celebrates this as a milestone. They cheer it as progress. What they have approved is death, on demand, wrapped in official procedure and sold as compassion.

Supporters call it compassion, but it’s not. It’s surrender. They claim it protects choice, but it erases conscience. By declaring death a form of medical care, Uruguay has chosen elimination over treatment, and despair over dignity. This isn’t progress. It’s a complete moral collapse.

A federal judge has ruled that a Florida school board did not violate the First Amendment when it removed a children’s book featuring two male penguins raising a chick in a victory for officials who argue they have the authority to keep LGBTQ-themed material out of school libraries.

Chief U.S. District Judge Allen Winsor ruled on September 30 that the Escambia County School Board acted within its rights when it removed the book And Tango Makes Three from its library shelves. The 2005 book tells the true story of two male penguins at New York’s Central Park Zoo who hatch and raise a chick together and has long been at the center of debates over LGBTQ representation in schools.

At least 34 arrests, ranging from terroristic threats to assault, were made during what some are calling the “mostly peaceful” nationwide “No Kings” protests Saturday, reports say.

Millions of demonstrators filled the streets of major U.S. cities to protest President Donald Trump and his administration, according to multiple reports. Most of the violence broke out near Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities, a frequent target for left-wing unrest and threats since midsummer.

David Cox of New York was charged Friday night with making terroristic threats and threatening mass harm after allegedly telling a gas station employee he planned to firebomb ICE agents at the protest, ABC 7 News reported.

“These barbaric monsters who committed these crimes against innocent children should NEVER have been in our country in the first place.”

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on Monday arrested illegal immigrants throughout the country who they described as “worst of the worst.” These are men who have been convicted for sex crimes against children and other serious counts but have still been resiging in the US, despite their illegal status.

Among those arrested by ICE are Mariano Yanez-Conejo, of Mexico; Humberto Perez-Vasquez, of Guatemala; Jose Rigoberto Lopez-Aguilar, of El Salvador; Rafael Penaloza-Cabrera, of Mexico; and Jose Ortiz-Jacobo, of Mexico. Each of these have been convicted of vile behavior against children.

The Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee votes on a package of six bills Wednesday that will make it possible for pregnant Pennsylvania women to kill their unborn babies up to birth. It will also turn Pennsylvania into an abortion tourism destination, allowing women from states with stronger pro-life rules to kill their babies in Pennsylvania with no legal entanglements.

Currently Pennsylvania bans abortion after 24 weeks (six months), though even then state law makes an exception “when the pregnancy poses a serious health risk or threatens the life” of the mother.

The main legislation is HB 1957, which aims to amend the Pennsylvania Constitution, making abortion a state constitutional right. HB 1957 would have to be approved by voters on a statewide ballot, and the committee hearing is the first step in that long process to amend the state constitution. First it must be approved in committee, then it moves to the House. The Pennsylvania House has a slight Democrat majority over Republicans, 102-101, so there is a good chance the constitutional amendment (and the entire six-bill package) will be approved by the committee and could pass the House.

In Boulder, Colorado, women can abort their child into the third trimester of pregnancy.

RISE Collective, an abortion clinic, opened its doors in October and is offering late-term abortions up to 34 weeks’ gestation, just six weeks shy of the average delivery time.

“At RISE Collective, we believe that any reason you have for needing abortion care is yours—and it is the right one,” the facility’s promotional video states.

RISE, standing for Reproductive Health, Inclusive Care, Support, and Empowerment, opens after abortionist and founder of Boulder Abortion Clinic Dr. Warren Hern retired earlier this year. The late-term abortion clinic operated for more than 50 years before closing its doors. Now, former Boulder Abortion Clinic staff work at RISE Collective.

In an interview that promptly went viral, actress Keira Knightley was asked by Decider about the LGBT boycott of Harry Potter due to J.K. Rowling’s opposition to gender ideology.

“I saw you’re voicing Professor Umbridge in the new Harry Potter audiobooks,” the journalist said. “I was wondering, are you aware that some fans are calling for a boycott given J.K. Rowling’s ongoing campaign against trans people?”

Knightley was having none of it.

“I was not aware of that, no,” she said with visible contempt. “I’m very sorry.” She laughed out loud. “You know, I think we’re all living in a period of time right now where we’re all going to have to figure out how to live together, aren’t we? And we’ve all got very different opinions. So I hope that we can all find respect.”

  • Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt criticized elite universities for using the H-1B visa program to hire staff for their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) offices, arguing that these positions do not meet the criteria of ‘specialty occupations’ meant to fill skills gaps in the American workforce.
  • Prominent universities like Dartmouth, Carnegie Mellon, and Yale have applied for H-1B visas for various DEI roles, raising concerns about the appropriateness of such hires under the visa’s intended purpose.
  • Experts, including National Association of Scholars’ editor Jared Gould, supported Schmitt’s view by stating that DEI roles are bureaucratic and not technical, and should not qualify for H-1B visas, which are intended for high-skill occupations.

Over 2,500 Muslims have been charged with “public order” offences in India for openly expressing their love of the Prophet Muhammed. During the last month, Indian police have reportedly raided homes and public spaces to arrest Muslim men suspected of writing “I Love Muhammed” on posters, t-shirts and social media. Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s Hindu Nationalist party launched the blitz of prosecutions, which has seen some perpetrators’ homes bulldozed, to the end of clamping down on threats against “public order”.

At least 22 cases have been brought against over 2,500 Muslims in the South Asian country, with at least 40 arrested across states governed by the Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the non-profit Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) said. The slew of arrests was sparked by the erection of an illuminated board paying tribute to Muhammed while Muslims were observing Eid al-Milad al-Nabi, the celebration of his birth, in the city of Kanpur on September 4. Dozens were pursued on charges of promoting enmity on the grounds of religion in the historic region, an offence which carries a sentence of up to five years in jail.

“No Kings” protesters could not name a reason why they were protesting against President Donald Trump during the nationwide demonstrations on Saturday.

Organizers of the protests claimed that 7 million anti-Trump protesters turned out in major U.S. cities to reject so-called “authoritarianism” and “affirm” that the nation does not belong to kings. Several of these protesters could come up with a single reason for why they are protesting Trump.

One woman went silent as she tried to come up with the “main reason” why she is protesting Trump.

“Why are you protesting?” a reporter asked.

Pro-life advocates are seizing on a deepening congressional standoff over Obamacare subsidies to push for long-sought restrictions that would block federal dollars from funding abortions.

They are warning that Democratic demands could lock in taxpayer support for the abortions indefinitely.

The federal government shutdown, now in its 14th day, has pitted Republicans against Democrats in a battle over extending enhanced premium tax credits for the Affordable Care Act, set to expire at year’s end. More than 90% of the roughly 24 million Americans enrolled in Obamacare plans rely on the subsidies, originally enacted as a COVID relief measure in 2021.

Elon Musk vulnerably told the world in July 2024, “My son Xavier is dead, killed by the woke mind virus,” adding starkly, “They call it deadnaming for a reason … they call it deadnaming because your son is dead.” Musk explained this mind virus to Bill Maher on his show more than a year earlier as a psychic spell where “you can’t question things; even the questioning is bad.”

This virulent virus fuels the deadly secular religion of transgenderism, a lie founded upon a contra-scientific view of male or female that rapidly infected millions of young people through social contagion over the last ten years. It caused whole guilds of otherwise well-educated professionals (physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, coaches, sports administrators, athletic associations, politicians, and the media) to lose their collective reason, objectivity, and credibility. We have all seen its horrific effects.

Pope Leo XIV reiterated the Church’s condemnation of usury while meeting with members of Italy’s National Anti-Usury Council on Saturday.

During the October 18 address to the Anti-Usury Council, the pontiff strongly condemned the practice of usury as a “grave sin” that “corrupts the human heart,” emphasizing that it ultimately enslaves the most vulnerable of the population. Usury, or the practice of charging excessive interest rates on loans, has been consistently condemned by the Church.

“The phenomenon of usury points to the corruption of the human heart. It is a painful and ancient story, already attested to in the Bible,” Leo noted.

The “No Kings” rallies are taking place again. On Saturday, October 18, more than 2,000 events will be held in every state of the union. Their purpose? To protest President Donald Trump and to allegedly reclaim America as a democracy instead of a monarchy.

The liberal groups sponsoring the rallies are all the usual suspects — the ACLU, MoveOn.org, Human Rights Campaign, and more.

This weekend’s events, one of which will feature Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, were first held back in June on Trump’s 79th birthday.

Public opinion on the shutdown shows the Democrats started with an 11-point advantage, but it has already shrunk to a six-point advantage. The current polling from YouGov/The Economist shows Dems lead Republicans 39% to 33%.

Blurb:

Democrats thought the Schumer Shutdown would be a political gift for them, but it is starting to look more like a liability. You’ve heard the talking points that Republicans own the shutdown because they control the House, the Senate, and the White House, but I guess the left wasn’t counting on people realizing that the party filibustering the continuing resolution is actually the Democrats. And now, a new YouGov/The Economist poll reveals that American voters are increasingly blaming Democrats for the impasse, and the numbers tell a story that should worry Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries as the shutdown drags into its third week.

PepsiCo Releases MAHA Doritos and Cheetos

PepsiCo has announced the launching of major brands getting a Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) makeover. Among the first brands to get the makeover include Dorits and Cheetos.

Blurb:

PepsiCo has just launched a new push to transform some of its major snack brands to bring them into line with the Trump administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) agenda.

The company announced that several brands, including Doritos and Cheetos, will undergo significant ingredient changes.

The change is part of a nationwide effort to eliminate artificial colors and flavors from processed foods.

The move aligns with the MAHA initiative spearheaded by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., The Gateway Pundit reported.

The Trump administration aims to phase out petroleum-based dyes from the U.S. food supply by the end of next year.

Just this morning, I wrote that the reason Democrats can’t moderate their unpopular political positions on things such as transgenderism and immigration is that they’ve backed themselves into logical corners that do not allow any moderation or compromise. This is why they can’t move on the budget. To them, $3.9 million in “LGBTQ+ democracy grants” for the Balkans is as important as welfare checks at home.

And today, as if by magic, one of my leftist Facebook friends re-posted one of the most insane and extreme pro-abortion things I’ve ever seen. (Many have wondered why I continue to have leftist friends on Facebook. The reason is that I’m a writer and they provide me with endless inspiration.)

  • Governor Gavin Newsom suggests California universities explore giving preferential treatment to descendants of slaves but vetoed a bill that would mandate such preferences, calling it ‘unnecessary’ as universities already have the authority to do so.
  • Democratic Assemblyman Isaac Bryan introduced the legislation to address California’s role in slavery and promote reparations, but legal experts warned it could violate federal affirmative action laws.
  • Newsom vetoed several bills related to preferences for descendants of slaves, citing potential legal risks and increased costs to the state while emphasizing the need for careful consideration of admissions policies.

On Sept. 30, hours before the federal government shut down, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had a baffling act to fit in. The FDA stealthily approved a new generic version of the abortion drug mifepristone.

Mifepristone, a drug the FDA itself admits sends as many as 1 in 25 women to the emergency room even under strict use conditions, is not only responsible for the deaths of countless unborn children, but also has taken the lives of too many mothers along with it.

Ironically, the approval came barely a week after the administration warned pregnant women to reconsider taking Tylenol to avoid harm to their unborn children.

Tennessee Republican Congressman Tim Burchett is calling for Netflix executives to explain the massive amounts of “demonic” transgender content in its children’s programing.

Burchett and House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R, KY) have presented the streamer with a letter calling executives to a committee hearing after learning of the cartoon series called, Dead End: Paranormal Park, which was aimed at children under 13, featured a transgender main character.

“We need to get them for the committee and ask them what their intentions are with this and if, in fact, they realize what the heck is going on,” Rep. Burchett told Fox News.

A Washington Post/KFF poll showed a super-majority of American parents support the Make America Healthy Again Agenda (MAHA). For instance, 8 in 10 parents support an increase in government regulations on dyes and chemicals additives in foods. 62% of Republicans support MAHA compared to just 34% of Independents and 17% of Democrats.

So far, there seems to be a disconnect between MAHA’s ACTUAL agenda, which the public largely supports, and MAHA’s DNC-media manipulated public perception.

Blurb:

The vast majority of parents support a key Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) effort, according to a Washington Post/KFF poll released Wednesday.

At least 8 in 10 parents said they are supportive of increasing government regulations on dyes and chemical additives in food, highly-processed food and added sugars — a central element of  Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s MAHA agenda — according to the poll.

However, when explicitly asked if they supported the MAHA movement, only roughly 4 in 10 parents said they were in favor of it, the poll found. The survey also found that 62% of Republicans responded that they consider themselves to be supporters of the MAHA agenda, compared to 34% of independents and just 17% of Democrats.

“That suggests to me that for the average parent, MAHA is more of a political identity than one that’s really deeply rooted in the goals of the movement,” Liz Hamel, vice president and director of public opinion and survey research at KFF, told the Washington Post.

REPARATIONS MONDAY - M4BL

The state of California is now openly apartheid, creating a monetary reward system that awards people for being black and descended from slaves. The new reparations law was signed into being by Governor Gavin Newsome (D-CA). The law establishes a “Bureau for Descendants of American Slavery,” which will go through the process of verifying eligibility for the program next. After that, the bureau will determine the nature of the benefits, or rewards, then become the dispenser of the “benefits.”

The law will be challenged immediately due to its open violation of the fourteenth amendment, which prohibits government from discriminating against individuals because of the color of their skin. There are some constitutional exceptions, and leftist anti-Americanist judges will find it easy to ham fist this law into those exceptions, so the constitutionality of the law will be determined by whether the court leans American or leftist.

Blurb:

Five years after forming a task force, and more than two years after the group released its recommendations, Gov. Gavin Newsom has approved legislation making my home state the first (and hopefully last) in the union to approve direct “reparations” to the descendants of former slaves.

Also known as direct cash payments and other state-provided benefits to black people based on the color of their skin. Also known as…racist.

As we previously covered, these performative efforts at moral posturing have long been brewing in California. In terms of the proposed benefits, the proposals ranged from the absurd to the unconstitutional.

This country needs better foster parents, and the State of Massachusetts is no exception. That’s why it’s not only bizarre but deeply unserious that DCF has decided to revoke the foster license of one caring couple. Whether or not this has something to do with their Christian faith, well… you will have to do the math.

A married couple from Woburn, Massachusetts, had their foster care license revoked after declining to sign a gender-affirming policy agreement required by the state’s Department of Children and Families (DCF).
