The Minnesota Supreme Court unanimously ruled that USA Powerlifting discriminated against a male athlete by barring him from competing in a women’s competition, marking a major decision in the ongoing debate over transgender participation in women’s sports. The court’s decision last Wednesday found that the organization’s policy of explicitly excluding men identifying as women from women’s events violated Minnesota’s Human Rights Act. All seven justices agreed with the ruling. Five were appointed by current Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and two by former Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton.
“I foresee violent pushback from an armed citizenry in the future. The 2nd amendment folx were very clear that weapons are meant to oppose a tyrannical government…”
A Democrat trans activist has won the mayoral race in Downingtown, PA, a small town of about 9,000 people in Chester County, west of Philadelphia. Deuso defeated Republican Richard Bryant.
Erica Deuso, who is openly transgender, had recently suggested armed violence against the federal government after footage came out of illegal immigrants being detained.
“Tonight, the numbers are clear,” Deuso stated early Wednesday morning, according to WHYY. “We won. Voters chose hope, decency, and a community where every neighbor matters. I am honored to be elected as Pennsylvania’s first openly transgender mayor. I carry that responsibility with care and with purpose.”
One of the more noxious aspects of Zohran Mamdani’s campaign to be mayor of New York City is the reappearance of Linda Sarsour, the far-left, oxymoronically hijab-wearing “feminist” activist who rocketed to international fame some years ago as the hate-filled face of the leftist/Islamic alliance, glossing over the human rights abuses of Sharia and demonizing Israel with extravagant false claims long before doing so became the left’s favorite pastime. As it turns out, Sarsour has not been enjoying a comfortable, Soros-financed retirement; she has been working on what she calls “the quiet side” of the Mamdani campaign.
Quiet side or not, however, Sarsour has been loquacious of late, and what she has been saying should give every New Yorker pause, although it probably won’t. In an Instagram livestream that she posted on Saturday but later took down, Sarsour declared that she was determined to keep the pressure up on Mayor Mamdani to dismantle the Strategic Response Group, the NYPD’s counterterror unit, which is also responsible for policing protests. “If Zohran’s gonna be the mayor of New York City,” Sarsour vowed, “he’s going to shut down the Strategic Response Group, the SRG, which is what Zohran has committed to.”

Two bills recently proposed to honor slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Oklahoma college campuses have prompted debate, with some professors arguing the proposals go too far and run afoul of the very principles Kirk espoused.
One week after Kirk’s assassination, Oklahoma state Sen. Shane Jett, who leads the Oklahoma Freedom Caucus, introduced the bills to honor the memory and legacy of the Turning Point USA founder.
The proposals seek to require Oklahoma’s public institutions of higher education to honor Kirk’s birthday, Oct. 14, as Charlie Kirk Free Speech Day, and “designate and develop a prominent area on its main campus as the ‘Charlie Kirk Memorial Plaza.’”
If any student, employee or faculty member vandalizes the plaza, they would be terminated from enrollment or employment and fined for the cost of the damage, the OU Daily student newspaper reported.
California overwhelmingly approved Prop 50 on Tuesday, which will potentially add five Democrat seats to the U.S. House in opposition to Republicans in Texas.
The Associated Press called the election in favor of Prop 50 shortly after the polls closed on Tuesday night.
“California voters approved new congressional district boundaries Tuesday, delivering a victory for Democrats in the state-by-state redistricting battle that will help determine which party wins control of the U.S. House in 2026,” the AP noted.
Republicans hold 219 seats in the U.S. House, while Democrats hold 213; those five seats in the 2026 midterm could make a huge difference in the balance of power. California Gov. Gavin Newsom strongly backed Prop 50, pledging it would be a bulwark against President Trump.
Conservative politicians and Canadians are in an uproar after the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that a mandatory one-year sentence for possessing or accessing child pornography is “unconstitutional.”
The Supreme Court released its ruling on October 31 in a 5-4 decision. The court dismissed the Crown’s appeal of the ruling n 2025 SCC 33 (File No. 40882). The ruling upholds a Quebec Court of Appeal decision, meaning that in such cases moving forward it will be up to the judge to hand over a ruling.
The case was based on a recent argument made by two men from Quebec, who had pleaded guilty to child pornography offenses. The two had argued that a one-year jail sentence was a violation of their Charter right of not being a party to “cruel and unusual treatment or punishment.”
It was the Crown that had asked the Supreme Court to rule that having child pornography is a grave offense worthy of strict sentences, noting the harm it causes the victims and families.

The world has been shocked and horrified by stories of how Hamas tortured and murdered Israeli hostages. But Hamas also viciously maltreats and even kills its own people who dare to stand up to it, including Moumen al-Natour, a Palestinian anti-Hamas activist.
The UK Daily Mail says that al-Natour has endured endless harassment and persecution from Hamas, from “being lashed with a whip, stripped of his clothes, or made to squat for 24 gruelling hours in a tiny underground cell, the 30-year-old lawyer has paid the price time and time again for his resistance to the authoritarian government.”
Describing one round of abuse at Hamas’s hands, al-Natour told the UK outlet, “They insulted me with obscene language and threatened to bring my father, mother, brothers and sisters to the prison to torture them. Once, someone even told me they could rape my mother and sisters in front of me.”
Sen. Chuck Grassley revealed Wednesday that former President Joe Biden’s corrupt Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) compiled what’s being described as an “enemies list” of Republicans to target, including through wiretapping the phones of several high-ranking Republicans as part of their “get-Trump” lawfare.
Grassley revealed more than 1,700 pages of documents provided by whistleblowers, shining further light on the “Arctic-Frost” inquiry. Arctic Frost was an investigation led by the Biden administration to, as The Federalist’s Margot Cleveland explained, “target Republicans in key battleground states.” Then FBI Director Christopher Wray sent a memorandum to then-Attorney General Merrick Garland claiming that “fraudulent certificates of electors’ votes were submitted to the Archivist of the United States” for Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin. Wray also asserted that these votes were part of a grand conspiracy to obstruct the certification of the 2020 election.
Billionaire Michael Bloomberg reaffirmed his support for former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) in New York City’s mayoral race, highlighting how “Cuomo has the experience and toughness” to stand up for the people of the city.
In a post on X, Bloomberg, who previously served as mayor of New York City between 2002-2013, pointed out that serving as mayor of NYC “is the second toughest job in America.”
“Four months ago I endorsed @AndrewCuomo because I thought his management experience and government know-how made him the best choice for New Yorkers,” Bloomberg wrote. “I still do. And today, with early voting underway, I wanted to reiterate my support for Andrew Cuomo.”
Bloomberg continued: “Being Mayor of New York City is the second toughest job in America, and the next mayor will face immense challenges. Andrew Cuomo has the experience and toughness to stand up for New Yorkers and get things done. I hope you will join me in supporting him.”
More than 40 years ago, missionaries Rodney and Ellie Hein founded a Bible college under a tree in a remote, central region of Mozambique. For decades, their Afrika Wa Yesu ministry has worked to reach the nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But now Christians throughout the region are facing an extremely dangerous threat.
As the kingdom of God advances in Mozambique, radical Islam’s evil reign of terror targets Christian believers. They’re driven from homes, then bloodied, and even beheaded. Their homes burned to the ground, traumatized survivors are forced to flee long distances looking for shelter in refugee camps.
While teaching on forgiveness at a church in America shortly after a political assassination here, Ellie Hein pointed to the church in Mozambique as a great example of what that virtue looks like.
On a trip north in Mozambique, which is infiltrated by radical Islamic terrorists who claim to have ISIS links, the Heins camped near a place where a woman was beheaded.
“Amongst the poorest of the poor, these terrorists are recruiting people who, if they don’t radicalize, are butchered and their heads chopped off. Children and wives must watch the men who refuse to follow these terrorists be dismembered piece by piece. These family members are forced to eat the flesh and drink the blood of those who’ve been murdered,” Ellie Hein said.
The Israeli army launched a barrage of attacks in Gaza on Tuesday as tensions with Hamas grew two weeks into a fragile ceasefire, and the militant group responded by saying it would delay handing over the body of a hostage. At least seven Palestinians were killed, health officials said.
The flare-up of violence presented one of the biggest tests so far for the truce and had international mediators scrambling to prevent it from collapsing. U.S. Vice President JD Vance attempted to play down the fighting, saying he expected “skirmishes” to quickly die down.
The order from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to launch “powerful strikes” came after an Israeli official said its forces were fired upon in southern Gaza and after Hamas handed over body parts on Monday that Israel said were the partial remains of a hostage recovered earlier in the war.
Netanyahu called the return of these body parts a “clear violation” of the ceasefire agreement, which requires Hamas to return the remaining hostages in Gaza as soon as possible. Israeli officials also accused Hamas of staging the discovery of these remains on Monday, sharing a 14-minute edited video captured by a military drone in Gaza.

A Minnesota man has been arrested for allegedly offering $45,000 for a “hit” on U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, the FBI announced in a press release.
On October 9, 2025, a TikTok user in Michigan flagged a disturbing post from an account under the username “Wacko,” which featured an anarchist symbol and displayed a “sniper-scope red dot” superimposed over the forehead of the nation’s top prosecutor.
The post included a mock wanted poster bearing Bondi’s image, with the text “WANTED: Pam Bondi / REWARD: 45,000 / DEAD OR ALIVE / (PREFERABLY DEAD),” and was captioned “cough cough when they don’t serve us then what?”
The uploader further claimed that they would be offering $45,000 to anyone who successfully carried out a “hit” on Bondi, prompting a swift federal investigation. A suspect identified as Tyler Maxon Avalos, a 29-year-old resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, was apprehended a week after the post went live on October 16, 2025, following verification of his identity through state supervision records tied to his address.
“Progressive Christian” publishers are rolling out a new wave of children’s Bibles and devotionals that replace traditional teachings with messaging focused on far-left ideology, including social justice and Marxism-rooted “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI).
The new books are part of a growing push to reshape how children are introduced to faith.
Publishers behind the rewritten stories argue that the original Bible promotes “Christian white supremacy.”
The movement, which publishers openly describe as an effort to align Scripture with “modern values,” has sparked concern among parents and faith leaders who say it distorts biblical truth under the banner of “inclusion.”
At the forefront of this campaign is “The Just Love Story Bible,” a new title from Beaming Books aimed at children aged 4–10.

There’s a feud brewing within the Trump administration between deportation hardliners at the Department of Homeland Security and officials at Immigration and Customs Enforcement, who want to focus on removing criminal illegal aliens.
In a nutshell, Border Patrol — an arm of DHS — is casting as wide a net as possible to remove anyone who’s in the country illegally, while ICE wants to conduct targeted deportations in a bid to quell deranged leftist backlash.
On one side are Border Czar Tom Homan and ICE Director Todd Lyons, who want to focus on deporting criminal illegal aliens and those with final deportation orders, according to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin.
On the other side are DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, her senior adviser Corey Lewandowski, and Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino, who want to use “aggressive tactics to arrest anyone in the US illegally, including but not limited to criminals, to ramp up deportation numbers and achieve President Trump’s promises of mass deportations,” Melugin reported.

The health and safety of women and babies would be jeopardized, under a package of seven pro-abortion bills now before the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
“These dangerous bills turn the clock back on a number of safeguards for women and children,” said Maria Gallagher, executive director of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, the Keystone State affiliate of National Right to Life.
“This legislation disrespects the fundamental right of mothers and babies to be shielded from harm. The measures would be disastrous for the most vulnerable among us,” Gallagher added.
One measure, a proposed Constitutional Amendment, would pave the way for abortion up to the moment of birth. It would also mean widespread taxpayer funding of abortion. Poll after poll shows the vast majority of Americans do not want their hard-earned tax dollars to pay for aborting babies.
Other legislation would take away the 24-hour waiting period for abortions and strip parents of their right to be involved in a minor girl’s abortion decision.
Hell awaits New York City. The anti-Semitic Communist will drive out Wall Street, the small businesses, the cops, the Jews, and everything else that had made New York City the greatest city in the world.
NYC has already over lost about $14 billion in adjusted gross income as residents relocated—particularly to states like Florida.
But this is going to be a tsunami.

In today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words,” Victor Davis Hanson and Jack Fowler described the “No Kings” protests, citing a Daily Mail article by psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert. They said that the event was an “empty expression of caring” where “elderly white baby boomers” sought “validation” through virtue signaling.
This transcript has been lightly edited for clarity.
Jack Fowler: “The ‘No Kings’ protest, from what I’ve seen in person and on TV, it seems to me like a big venting session. It’s almost like a big group therapy. So, people get stuff off their chest, and they feel better in the moment, but it doesn’t necessarily bring about any sort of positive change.” He said that “rather than actually affecting change, many of them are simply craving community or validation,” which he said, “can be addictive.”
Final thing here. “A lot of times people unhappy in their own lives, they may have anxiety or anger, and they project that onto others. That’s partly what we’re seeing play out in these rallies.” Victor, your thoughts on these rallies and what the psychiatrist said?
Victor Davis Hanson: Well, we have a rule, Jack. We do not use the K word.
Fowler: We don’t.
Hanson: The K-blank-blank-blank-N.
Fowler: Right.
Hanson: But these are the types of stereotypes by age, race, gender, and income status that I have a little something called the VDH radar. And it’s an early form of radar, so it only has a range of about 40 yards. But when I’m walking somewhere, i.e., a restaurant, a coffee shop, an airport, I have this little bleeper in my brain. It goes, “DEFCON 1! DEFCON 1! DEFCON 1!” And then this person comes up, and then I see the scowl, and then the pace increases, and then he’s in my circle. “You”—It’s usually you—“you think you know better.” It’s all this talking down to somebody.
Israel has said it will not allow Turkish troops to take part in an international force proposed by the US to oversee the ceasefire in Gaza.
The deal brokered by US President Donald Trump earlier this month calls for a temporary stabilisation force to monitor the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas after two years of war, but does not mention which countries would provide armed forces.
The US plan said the force would train and support “vetted Palestinian police forces” and will “consult with Jordan and Egypt, who have extensive experience in this field”.
Speaking to journalists during a visit to Hungary, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said on Monday that Israel opposes the participation of Turkish troops in Gaza.
“Countries that want or are ready to send armed forces should be at least fair to Israel,” Sa’ar said at a press conference in Budapest.
The plea deal calls for up to 12 and a half years in prison, followed by five years of probation.
A trans-identified female Indiana teenager has agreed to plead guilty to plotting a mass shooting at a local high school. Authorities say that upon investigation of the teen’s home, they found a shrine honoring Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz, according to the New York Post.
Trinity “Jamie” Shockley, 18, will plead guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, according to the Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office. The plea deal calls for up to 12 and a half years in prison, followed by five years of probation. The plea agreement was filed on October 24.
Authorities said Shockley had been planning to carry out a Valentine’s Day attack to mark the anniversary of the 2018 Parkland, Florida massacre. Investigators discovered that Shockley kept disturbing materials in a bedroom worshipping Cruz and other school shooters. According to the Morgan County Correspondent, Shockley was “in love” with Cruz.
