Civil rights grifter Al Sharpton has accused President Donald Trump of “race-baiting” by taking federal control of the police department in Washington, D.C., to crack down on violent crime in the nation’s capital.
During a Tuesday appearance on MSNBC’s “Chris Jansing Reports,” Sharpton claimed that Trump is targeting “black mayors” by deploying the National Guard to tackle surging crime.
“Reverand” Sharpton promoted the Left’s false claim that violent crime has reduced in D.C. and other Democrat-run cities.
“The data says that crime and violent crime has gone down in Washington, he’s going to send out the National Guard,” Sharpton alleged.
