The judge overseeing the Utah case against Tyler Robinson, who has been charged with assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, ruled against the defense on Thursday, who requested that cameras be blocked from the hearing over multiple violations of a court order on filming. A date of February 3 was set for arguments on the matter of cameras in the courtroom during the trial.

The judge allowed cameras in court for the hearing, but whether or not cameras will be permitted during the trial is still open for discussion. Parties will argue about that February 3, after which Graf will make his ruling.

The defense said that January 30 “might be the one we want to save to argue our anticipated motion that’s coming about keeping cameras out of the courtroom and we will, I imagine the media will.” The judge said that there were complications surrounding the date, and the date of February 3 was agreed upon by the parties.

Student brags about getting Loyola U. New Orleans to reject TPUSA chapter

A Democratic student leader at Loyola University New Orleans bragged over the weekend about the impact of her advocacy when the student government denied an “official university organization” charter for Turning Point USA.

Juleea Berthelot, a student and vice president of National Students for a Democratic Society, made the remark during a panel discussion at a National Alliance Against Racist & Political Repression conference, which took place over the weekend in Chicago.

An Arizona school district is under fire after images circulated online, showing 8 math teachers wearing blood-soaked t-shirts with the words “Problem Solved” emblazoned across the front for Halloween costumes.

The teachers at Cienega High School in Vail, Arizona were photographed last week wearing shirts that appear to be stained by blood on the same side of Charlie Kirk’s fatal wound from when the conservative activist was assassinated in Orem, Utah on September 10.

Conservative students report vandalism, protests at first meeting earlier this month

Students erupted in cheers after the Fort Lewis College senate voted this week to reject a request to recognize a new Turning Point USA chapter as an official student organization, according to a video of the meeting.

“Disappointing day for our college. They value ‘diversity’, but not diversity of thought. This will not stand,” the Fort Lewis TPUSA chapter wrote Thursday on X.

Senate President Asa Worthington announced the vote during the Associated Students of Fort Lewis College’s weekly meeting, describing it as a “difficult decision,” according to a video of the meeting, posted by Libs of TikTok. Fort Lewis is a public college in Colorado.

“In light of the opinions and concerns shared with us today on both sides of the discussion, … we have decided to deny Turning Point USA’s request to become an RSO1 at this time,” Worthington said.

The announcement resulted in cheers from a number of students in attendance.

Utah Valley University socialist students protested a proposal to erect a statue of Charlie Kirk on campus, saying that they don’t want outsiders on campus and do not want to honor the slain Turning Point USA founder.

“We’re out here because we want to protest any sort of Charlie Kirk memorial,” Collin Grannis told Scripps News Service last week. “We don’t want his likeness on campus; we don’t want his likeness sort of immortalized.” Tyler Robinson is accused of assassinating Kirk on Sept. 10 at the public university in Orem, Utah during one of Kirk’s speaking events.

Grannis (pictured) is with UVU Students for a Democratic Society. The group held signs at their rally that said things like “No Kirk on Campus” and “Memorial For Unity Not Hate,” according to a blog post he created on Fight Back! News. The protest was reportedly just 200 feet from where Kirk was killed.

The Trump administration has just revoked six visas from people who were apparently expressing pleasure over the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

People can’t say that they weren’t warned about this. Since March, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has made it extremely clear that the U.S. is no longer going to tolerate disruptions or anti-American shenanigans from visa holders.

State Department revokes six visas over offensive Charlie Kirk assassination comments

The State Department on Tuesday said the United States isn’t obligated to take in foreigners who wish harm on Americans, before posting a list of six individuals whose visas were revoked for making vile comments about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

The agency noted that the Trump administration will take action against those celebrating Kirk’s death.

“The State Department continues to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk,” the agency wrote on X. “@POTUS and @SecRubio will defend our borders, our culture, and our citizens by enforcing our immigration laws. Aliens who take advantage of America’s hospitality while celebrating the assassination of our citizens will be removed.”

‘I have family who don’t look like you who are triggered … I will be very candid with you‘

The coordinator of student-government programs at Oklahoma State University allegedly reprimanded a student who gave a small tribute to Charlie Kirk at a meeting just hours after Kirk’s assassination.

According to the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs, Josh Wilson, a member of the OSU student government and debate society, “took a few moments to speak to fellow students” at a Student Government Association meeting that had been scheduled the day of Kirk’s murder.

“Wilson’s Sept. 10 speech contained no references to Trump, nor did it advocate for the election of any political figure or call for support of any political party,” according to the report.

“Instead, Wilson called Kirk ‘a father, a husband, a devout Christian, and a shining light for so many,” and “recalled that during Kirk’s April visit to OSU, Kirk was able to ‘provoke discussion and dialogue among countless students on this campus.’”
