The Department of Homeland Security was feeling it yesterday—they took a former Biden official to the woodshed over this laughable, and frankly, beyond worthless, op-ed where they expound on –get this—fixing our immigration system. You cannot make this up. The entitlement these people have, as if we want to hear what those who allowed a four-year invasion to go unfettered have to say. Biden and his clown crew imported the third world, who terrorized our communities. We’re sending them all back.

The surge in illegal crossings at our southern border during the first three years of Joe Biden’s presidency was, by any reasonable definition, a crisis. The failure to acknowledge this reality and take timely action to try to resolve it cost Democrats a great deal of trust with American voters. It contributed to President Trump’s return to the White House.

Blas Nuñez-Neto, an assistant secretary for border and immigration policy at the Department of Homeland Security under the Biden administration, penned the piece titled, “I Was One of Biden’s Border Advisers. Here’s How to Fix Our Immigration System”:

I had a front row view of all this in my role as the assistant secretary for border and immigration policy at the Department of Homeland Security. I learned that the border crisis is, to a large extent, an asylum crisis: Our broken immigration laws have increasingly incentivized economic migrants to claim that they fear persecution in order to start a lengthy administrative process that allows them to remain in the United States and work. The political left typically refers to these immigrants as asylum seekers, because our laws allow them to make those claims. Many on the political right refer to them as criminals, because, they often say, crossing the border without documentation is a crime.

The fact that both views have at least some merit shows the dysfunction in our immigration laws. Only Congress can fix those laws, and until its members — from both parties — take action, the challenges at our border will continue.

Illegal entries at our southern border started increasing in the summer and fall of 2020 — when Mr. Trump was still in office. It turned into a tidal wave in 2021, even as Mr. Biden swung the pendulum too far to the left early in his term, including by announcing a 100-day pause on most deportations. I was in Del Rio, Texas, in September 2021 and saw the chaos that resulted when as many as 15,000 people amassed under the International Bridge.

“Thanks to our troops who stepped up to answer the call, the lawlessness in Los Angeles is subsiding,” U.S. Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell said Tuesday. “As such, the Secretary has ordered the release of 2,000 California National Guardsmen (79th IBCT) from the federal protection mission.”

In June, President Trump mobilized about 4,000 California National Guard troops and 700 Marines to deal with the violent response to the administration’s immigration enforcement operations around Los Angeles.

LA Mayor Karen Bass falsely claimed the “retreat” was in response to Democratic pushback.

“This happened because the people of Los Angeles stood united and stood strong. We organized peaceful protests, we came together at rallies, we took the Trump administration to court — all of this led to today’s retreat,” she said in a statement. “We will not stop making our voices heard until this ends, not just here in LA, but throughout our country.”

19-year-old Zayn Arcand, who describes himself as “he/they xe/she” and “demi boy, pansexual, emo artist and (high functioning) autistic,” has been arrested in his hometown of Iron Mountain, Michigan, after he was reportedly captured on a surveillance video attempting to throw a Molotov cocktail into a building where the local Dickinson Republican Party Committee has an office. Arcand goes by “Atomic Havoc” on social media.

Arcand was charged with manufacturing and possessing an explosive and arson by the Iron Mountain Police Department. According to the press release, on Saturday, around 3:55 pm (in broad daylight), Arcand was captured on surveillance video using a Molotov cocktail in an attempt to burn down the building containing the Dickinson County Republican Committee’s office.

Earlier today, Jeff Solka, Director of Police and Fire Services, released a statement to explain:

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, at approximately 3:55 p.m., the Iron Mountain Police Department received a report of a suspicious person in the area of 617 North Stephenson Avenue, the location of the Dickinson County Republican Committee Headquarters.

The caller observed the individual attempting to light a rag sticking out of a glass bottle, then throwing the unlit bottle at
the building.

Officers reviewed footage from surveillance cameras in the area, Officers were able to see the subject on video, attempting to light a rag sticking out of a glass bottle containing liquid. The subject did not get the rag to light and threw the glass bottle at the window, causing the bottle to shatter. A second broken glass bottle was located in the parking lot. This bottle contained an unknown liquid and had a rag sticking out of the top.

Officers were able to identify the suspect in the videos and located him at his home. Upon speaking with the suspect, he admitted to making the bottles in his driveway and he threw the bottle at the building, to send a message against the corruption. The suspect was hoping what he made was flammable and would ignite.

The suspect, a 19-year-old male from Iron Mountain, was arrested and booked into the Dickinson County Jail. His identity will be released following his arraignment on the following charges:

• Explosives – Manufacture/possession of a Molotov cocktail/explosive or incendiary
device causing property damage (MCL 750.211a)
• Arson – Preparation to burn property MCL 750.79(d)(i)

They blame everything from DOGE to cuts to the National Weather Service to budget reductions at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), but as RedState’s Bonchie points out, most of those cuts haven’t even taken effect yet, and their predictions wouldn’t have changed no matter how high their funding.

But this second Trump administration is a different beast, and they’re not taking things like this lying down. The Department of Homeland Security blasted the media in a series of Sunday posts and accused the biased press of outright lying:

DHS said the National Weather Service actually did its job:

“The National Weather Service executed timely, precise forecasting and warnings, despite unprecedented rainfall overwhelming the region,” it continued.

The agency also provided a timeline of the National Weather Service’s “proactive response” to the storm beginning on Thursday morning.

“The National Weather Service provided over 12 hours of advance notice via the Flood Watch and over 3 hours of lead time for Flash Flood Warnings, with escalated alerts as the storm intensified,” DHS wrote.

This is an awful story, and like Bonchie, I’m heartbroken as a parent to contemplate the unimaginable pain the families of the victims are feeling at this time. There will be investigations, and reports, and studies to determine how this could have been better prevented, but this moment is not the time to throw out conjecture, uncorroborated theories and unfounded allegations.

Blaming the Trump administration for cuts that supposedly kneecapped our warning systems is a fool’s game, because as the DHS points out, the warnings went out. There are still questions to be answered about what happened next, but in the meantime, the media should stop throwing out baseless speculation when the waters haven’t even receded yet.

Border Patrol Agents Ambushed By Gunman At Texas Facility– trendingpoliticsnews.com

A gunman opened fire on U.S. border control personnel on Monday, an ambush that officials say deliberately targeted them just for doing their jobs.

Officers at the Border Patrol annex facility in McAllen, Texas returned fire, killing the lone gunman in a shootout that proved how acrimonious the debate around illegal immigration has become since President Donald Trump took office.

Agents and local police were present during the shooting. While no one was killed, one member of the McAllen Police Department was struck with non-life-threatening injuries.

“This morning an individual opened fired at the entrance of the United States Border Patrol sector annex in McAllen, Texas. Both Border Patrol agents and local police helped neutralize the shooter,” the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement to Fox News. “This is an ongoing investigation led by the FBI. More information will be shared as it becomes available.”

Law enforcement officials say they believe the shooter deliberately targeted border control personnel. More details are set to be announced at a press conference later on Monday.

If you want more evidence of how bad the denizens of the Democrat Party are, just take a look at how many are laughing in glee at the 60-some deaths in the flooding in Texas.

First came the lying leftists who claimed that Trump’s budget cuts to National Weather Service (NWS) are to blame for all these deaths in Texas. What these liars AREN’T mentioning is that the scheduled cuts won’t even happen until October. So, at least for this disaster, there have been no NWS budget cuts. And as to the cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), those cuts have just started and have had no practical effect yet on services.

So far, about ten percent of the NWS work force was cut, and if you think that is significant enough to affect operations, you are fooling yourself. Such a small cut in workers goes on all the time in companies without really harming the effectiveness of the company.

Here is another false claim:

Federal agents killed a man after he fired at a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas. The man had a rifle and was wearing tactical gear. One agent who returned fire was wounded but is in stable condition.

The shooter was identified as Ryan Louis Mosqueda. His motive is unknown, but investigators believe it was a targeted attack on Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a post on X that such attacks will not be tolerated.

“The Department [of Justice] has zero tolerance for assaults on federal officers or property and will bring the full weight of the law against those responsible,” Blanche said.

Border czar Tom Homan, who previously served as acting director of ICE, said on Fox News that attacks on ICE officers have increased since last year by 690% as of July 4. Homan cited Congress’s rhetoric as one reason for the increase in attacks.

“We have senators, we have Congresspeople, that compare ICE to the Nazis, compare ICE to racists, and it just continues. The public thinks, ‘well if a member of Congress can attack ICE, why can’t we,’” Homan said.

In 2024, from Jan. 21 to June 30, there were only 10 attacks on ICE agents, according to the Department of Homeland Security. In 2025, during that same period, ICE reported 79 attacks on agents. DHS said the increase is likely due to the speed at which the attacks occur, some of which go unaccounted for.

During an interview on Fox News, Homan discussed the recent shooting of a police officer at an ICE facility in Texas. “Who were these suspects who were fired, who actually fired the shots and were later arrested? Who were they, Tom?” the host asked.

“Look, they’re your typical protester that go from protester to criminals,” Homan replied. “The attacks on ICE officers…is up nearly 700% now. We were talking 500% a couple of weeks ago, so it continues.”

Homan continued, explaining how the rhetoric coming from Democrats about ICE is inspiring some of the recent attacks on ICE agents. “The rhetoric against the men and women of ICE is skyrocketing, especially by members of Congress,” he said. “We have senators, we have Congress people that compare ICE to the Nazis, compare ICE to racists.”

The border czar continued, “So the public thinks, ‘Well, if a member of Congress can attack ICE, why can’t we?’ The rhetoric has to stop, or it’s a matter of time befor someone, one of the ICE officers goes down or a criminal goes down. We’ve already seen an officer go down.”

“Squad” Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) is coming under fire for misstating her supposed hardscrabble background in the Bronx, with the Democrat now claiming she grew up in an area adjacent to the notoriously violent New York borough.

AOC, who rose from humble bartender to congressional celebrity after the 2018 election, backpedaled on her origin story after a new report alleging she went to high school in Yorktown Heights, a suburb 40 miles outside of New York City.

The controversy began when AOC fired back at President Donald Trump, who labeled her “one of the dumbest people in Congress” after she attempted to impeach him for striking Iran.

“Also, I’m a Bronx girl. You should know that we can eat Queens boys for breakfast. Respectfully,” the progressive lawmaker replied on social media.

Cynthia Gonzalez, the vice Mayor of Los Angeles, is facing potential Federal charges after apparently calling on gangs to go to war against America. The Department of Homeland Security called her comments “despicable,” but an arrest warrant was not immediately issued. The comments weren’t transparent, but the coding was clear, she intended to trigger violence against ICE in defense of illegal aliens.

She said “It’s everyone else who’s not about the gang life that’s out there protesting and speaking up. We’re out there, like, fighting our turf, protecting our turf, protecting our people, and like, where you at. I’m like, dude, they’re running amok all up on your streets, on your streets and in your city, and peep when the big gang guns come in, nothing but like, quiet. And we’re out here, the regular ones that have never been jumped in, out here calling things out, out trying to organize people, trying to do the thing. So don’t be trying to claim no block, no nothing if you’re not showing up right now, trying to like, help out and organize. I don’t want to hear a peep out of you once they’re gone, tryna claim that this is my block. This was not your block, you weren’t even here helping out. DNC Activist Federal Magistrate Judge Ivan Davis has allowed a man who threatened to murder President Donald Trump to go free. He was charged with making threats against the president and ordered to be held pending a hearing.

The man, Peter Stinson, is a 33-year veteran of the Coast Guard and known antifa activist. He has made numerous threats, yet the insurrectionist judge chose to release him for home detention, trusting in a GPS ankle monitor to keep the President safe. It should be noted he is a trained sharpshooter, a fact that had no bearing on the judge’s decision.

A former Coast Guard officer who was charged with threatening President Donald Trump has been freed from jail by a Virginia judge.

A 19-page FBI affidavit said that Peter Stinson of Virginia, who left the Coast Guard in 2021 after 33 years and was a Federal Emergency Management Agency instructor, issued repeated threats aimed at Trump, according to CBS.

Stinson actively made anti-Trump posts beginning in 2020 and last week posted, “When he dies, the party is going to be yuge.”

Stinson was charged with making threats against the president. On Monday afternoon, he was ordered to be held pending a hearing on the charges against him.

The Wednesday hearing resulted in Judge Ivan Davis ruling that sending Stinson home with GPS monitoring was enough for now, according to Fox News.

Although Department of Justice prosecutors said Stinson’s many comments about doing violence to Trump were threats, Stinson’s public defender said he was engaging in protected political speech.

Stinson’s lawyers said his posted comments claiming he could not succeed in assassinating Trump were a reason to spring him from jail, while prosecutors said Stinson had received marksman ribbons in the Coast Guard.

Should Peter Stinson remain in jail while awaiting trial?

Davis said Stinson can go home once his attorneys verify there are no guns at Stinson’s property, according to WUSA-TV.

Davis granted the DOJ’s request that Stinson not seek travel authorization, but rejected a prosecution attempt to have a third-party custodian monitor Stinson.

“The weight of the evidence, on a scale from one to 10, let’s just say it’s not on the side of 10,” Davis said.

Davis is a graduate of the Howard University School of Law and has been a magistrate judge in the Eastern District of Virginia since 2008.

He gave prosecutors until Wednesday to file documents supporting the charge against Stinson.

The charging documents against Stinson noted that he has been posting anti-Trump comments on social media for years.

On April 1, 2020, the document said that in response to a post that read, “You see Trump drowning, what are you throwing him?” Stinson posted, “This morning I feel like I would hit him in the head with an oar” and also wrote, “He wants us dead. I can say the same thing about him.”

Later that month he also wrote, “Would someone just pull the proverbial trigger, please” and later posted, “I would do it. I would take the fall to save America. Too bad I don’t have the operational skills to pull it off. I am willing to serve in a support capacity for someone else with the skills to take care of things.”

The documents noted that posts continued through 2025, with this from Jan. 28: “Somebody needs to do it. Somebody with the skills to do it right. Somebody with the experience. Somebody with the right tools. Somebody needs to get it done.”

The documents said that on Jan. 29, Stinson posted, “Poison maybe. But you got to get real close.”

Two days later, he elaborated, writing, “Poison. That might be the only solution at this point. Take out 1 and 2. Got to get close to disperse. Need a plan. Anyone done this sort of work before?”

Across multiple major cities from Los Angeles to Philadelphia, far left protesters disrupted commerce, committed acts of vandalism, assaulted police, and set buildings and vehicles on fire. As the Trump administration pulled in the National Guard, sedition district judges tried to stop him, but higher courts prevailed. The action culminated in No Kings Day, which organizers claim saw 3 million people protest and riot across the country, protesting something that doesn’t exist, an American King.

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) said the riots and protests, which his party continues to support and encourage, are doing damage to the brand. He said “I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that. This is anarchy and true chaos. “I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that,” the senator wrote in an X post this past Monday. “This is anarchy and true chaos,” Fetterman continued. “My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement.”

During Friday’s episode of “Real Time,” Maher predicted that the instantly infamous photo of a rioter waving a Mexican flag atop a burned out car will haunt the Democratic Party going forward. “When they see it in a campaign ad, when they see the guy with the Mexican flag and the Waymo burning behind him, it’s going to be good for Trump,”  he said.

Fetterman was in agreement, stating that Americans do not want to see Los Angeles “on fire twice in just six months now.” He continued, “And those optics, I just run that through — like what’s the people in Scranton might see those kinds of images and those kinds of videos?”

No Kings Protests

On June 14, 2025, in the early morning hours, 57-year-old Vance Boelter assassinated Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband after attempting to assassinate Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman. In both incidents, the spouses were also shot, with Hortman’s husband also dying.

The motivation for the shooting still remains unclear and contested. So far, law enforcement has yet to release the shooter’s notes, even though parts were released that indicates he blames Governor Tim Walz (D) for the shootings. Walz appointed Boelter to a business council, though Boelter appears to have at one time been registered as a republican and there is video of him espousing “evangelical Christian” beliefs.

Tim Walz.

Authorities said a man posing as an officer shot state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette in their home early June 14, and then shot and killed state Rep. Melissa Hortman, a former Democratic speaker, and her husband Mark in their home a few miles away.

Authorities soon identified the shooting suspect as 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter of Green Isle, Minn. And conservative influencers, including Benny Johnson, Rogan O’Handley and Mike Cernovich pounced — surfacing what they floated as an incriminating connection between Boelter and the governor.

Walz, the former Democratic vice presidential nominee, reappointed Boelter in 2019 to a state board focused on Minnesota’s workforce. But we found no evidence that Walz and Boelter were closely acquainted nor any evidence that Walz was in any way linked to the shootings, which he described as an “unspeakable tragedy” and “targeted political violence.”

Donald Trump used the shooting to attack Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

The banner bore the words, “In these difficult times, some cuts may be necessary.” The flagpole was flanked by two prop decapitated heads, one of which resembled Trump.

The other severed head had a Nazi swastika carved into its forehead. As a reminder, Democrats routinely attack Trump and other conservatives as “Nazis.”

The horrific image essentially called for Trump‘s assassination — an appalling incitement to violence considering he was nearly assassinated twice last year.

Seattle was the site of widespread unrest on Saturday as “No Kings” protests across the country escalated into violence, with demonstrators in the city targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations and assaulting a journalist.

Clashes broke out near the ICE field office in Tukwila, a suburb of Seattle, after activists, including Antifa and anti-ICE demonstrators, surrounded the building and barricaded exits. The protest came after ICE reportedly issued a last-minute call for illegal immigrants to appear at the office for immigration matters. Demonstrators attempted to block ICE vehicles from leaving the facility with detainees.

As ICE and Homeland Security personnel began removing detained illegal immigrants from the building, activists swarmed federal vehicles to prevent them from leaving. In response, federal and local law enforcement deployed tear gas and crowd control munitions to disperse the crowd. ICE vehicles ultimately broke through the barricades and left the area. Several arrests were made during the confrontation.

Suspect in the assassination of two Minnesota state lawmakers, Vance Boelter, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder as well as two counts of attempted murder among other charges.

Boelter, 57, was taken into custody on Sunday night after he was located by police near his home in Sibley County, Minnesota.

Posting a photo of him getting arrested, the sheriff’s office wrote, “The face of evil. After relentless and determined police work, the killer is now in custody. Thanks to the dedication of multiple agencies working together along with support from the community, justice is one step closer.”

In Minnesota, second-degree murder is murder done without premeditation, however, a grand jury may indict him for first-degree murder later on, according to Fox News analyst and former congressman Trey Gowdy.

Early on Saturday morning, Boelter allegedly posed as a cop in a vehicle that he made appear as a police car and is accused of fatally shooting State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, early Saturday morning at their home in Brooklyn Park. He is believed to have critically injured State Sen. John Hoffman as well as his wife, Yvette, during the rampage.

(The Center Square) – Legislative attorneys are meeting with the speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives to determine the next steps for a lawmaker who promoted a sign reflecting pursuit of the decapitation of President Donald Trump.

Speaker Destin Hall, R-Caldwell, spoke about the acts by Wake County Democratic Rep. Julie von Haefen in a statement Sunday evening. Members of Congress from coast to coast also weighed in as the news went viral.

“Her disgraceful behavior fails to meet the standards expected from House members and sets a dangerous precedent in an already volatile political climate,” Hall said in part. “I am examining next steps with our legislative attorneys to ensure this behavior does not continue.”

The state’s first-term Democratic Gov. Josh Stein, the North Carolina Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee remained silent Monday morning, about 48 hours since the post first appeared.

The Center Square reached out to von Haefen’s office on Sunday at 2:51 p.m. At 3 p.m., she posted an explanation to her Facebook page. Increasing calls for her resignation followed, including the House speaker’s statement about three hours later.

Last weekend, liberal America decided to take to the streets for No Kings Day, a loser exercise which did nothing. We have no king, Trump is still president, and Kamala Harris still lost the 2024 election. The ICE raids will continue, so deal with it. It’s also extra hilarious since liberals wanted Obama to act like a king during his presidency. It’s not just little old biased me saying No Kings was a waste of time: Ruy Teixeira, a liberal commentator and political analyst, threw cold water all over this little protest, saying it’s not enough.

If you’re unfamiliar with Teixeira’s work, he worked for the Center for American Progress but was essentially forced out because his analyses made his fellow liberals angry, namely the Democratic Party’s hard shift to the Left and its denigration of the working class. Ironically, he’s now with the American Enterprise Institute, last time I checked.

On his Substack, he noted that Trump and the GOP’s popularity over the Democrats is the first death blow to this notion that ‘No Kings’ could evolve into a larger movement. The second is that core Democratic voter groups have all turned against the Democrats. Last, he cited David Brooks’ column about why Democrats’ odyssey out of the wilderness won’t be easy. Liberals find themselves on the opposite end of where social trends are going right now: they’re institutionalists in an era where everyone hates institutions. They’re elitists when voters view elections as a duel between the elites and everyone else. While David Brooks isn’t MAGA, he was spot-on in highlighting those structural flaws within the Democratic Party. Now, there were some things about Teixeira’s post that I disagreed with, but overall, he shined a light into how the Left doesn’t get it yet:

This time is different. This time, he’s gone too far. This time, voters will be roused from their stupor and massively reject the Bad Orange Man. If only it were that simple. Here are some reasons why it’s not.

They’re not popular but then again neither are the Democrats. Trump’s approval has gone down since the beginning of his second term, now sitting at 46.5 percent in the RCP running average (a point lower in Nate Silver’s average). But Trump is still running ahead of his approval rating at this point in his first term. And at this point in his second term, he’s actually running slightly ahead of Obama and Bush at this point in their second terms.

… Rally-goers were set to meet at the southwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Camelback Road, directly across the street from Scottsdale Fashion Square, a shopping center. In May 2020, this mall endured millions of dollars in damages during the Black Lives Matter riots, leading to dozens of arrests for looting and criminal damage. Those events left lingering fears among some locals that Saturday’s protest could spark similar destruction.

On Saturday morning, a few hundred protesters gathered in the area, spreading across all sides of the intersection and occasionally spilling into nearby blocks. Concrete barriers kept the crowd, which mostly included adults in their 50s and older, from blocking traffic.

A strong law enforcement presence monitored the area, with local police patrolling the perimeter and periodically moving through the crowd, maintaining order without incident.

Protesters attending the No Kings rallies, which were reportedly backed by 198 groups with $2.1 billion in annual revenue, were encouraged to show up at the events with American flags to “reclaim” national symbols.

It seems quiet. If you just look around day to day in the United States, it would appear that life is moving along and the American people are tolerating the second presidency of Donald Trump.

There is no unrest in the streets of America’s cities and small towns. There is no violence. In fact, what we were told before the election could happen, that society would instantly disintegrate, hasn’t happened.

Many in the media who ran Biden off of the Democratic ticket and then bent the knee to Trump looked around at what must be disappointment.

The media, like Trump, were banking on chaos and fear to bring eyeballs back and revive their business after four years of struggle under Joe Biden.

Donald Trump needed chaos and fear to serve as a pretext for the consolidation of power within the executive branch. The media needed chaos and fear to get their audience back.

Hours after the shooting of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses, prominent conservative influencers spun unsubstantiated theories that the suspect was a left-wing extremist who targeted the Democratic-aligned leaders for voting against party lines, and did so with the blessing of the state’s top Democrat, Gov.

On some days, you could call Associated Press just Associated Press Release. On Friday, they prepared everyone for the leftist protests coming on Saturday with a pseudo-explainer headlined “What to know about ‘No Kings’ protests against Trump’s policies.”

Nowhere in this 17-paragraph article is a single ideological label — liberal, leftist, progressive, socialist, not even “Democrat.” They’re just “opponents.” They certainly weren’t “extremists,” even though the PBS News website illustrated AP with a woman holding a sign that said “The Trump Fascist Regime MUST GO NOW!” That’s not how democracy works.

You can call Trump a “fascist” and be treated as non-ideological. Seattle-based “National Flex Reporter” Lisa Baumann began:

Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration are set to rally in hundreds of cities on Saturday during the military parade in Washington to mark the Army’s 250th anniversary, which coincides with Trump’s birthday.

The “No Kings” protests are set to take place to counter what organizers say are Trump’s plans to feed his ego on his 79th birthday and Flag Day. “No Kings” will follow several days of nationwide protests against federal immigration raids including in Los Angeles, where Trump’s deployment of the National Guard further agitated his opponents.

As President Donald Trump rallied the troops to Washington, DC on June 14—the date of the US Army’s 250th anniversary, Flag Day, and his birthday—millions of his constituents joined in the nationwide “No Kings” march.

It was a conflicting, polar day in America. In one city, a parade costing tens of millions of dollars was complete with robot military dogs walking down the street, the president being serenaded by a crowd singing Happy Birthday, and thousands of Army service members marching in rows. In a city just North of DC, at the flagship No Kings rally in Philadelphia, an estimated 80,000 people called out chants that have become familiar since 2016, like “Hey-hey! Ho-ho! Donald Trump has got to go!” and ones befitting the protest, like “Let freedom ring! We don’t want a king!”

Nearly 3,000 miles away in Los Angeles, police shot stun grenades and rubber bullets, and used tear gas, on a group of demonstrators protesting the Trump administration’s attacks on immigrant communities. The offensive from police who claimed they were attempting to disperse the crowd came hours before the 8 o’clock curfew that part of downtown was placed under by Mayor Karen Bass.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) suggested “imbalanced” people are reading “hateful rhetoric” that is making them violent.

Klobuchar appeared Monday on MSNBC’s Morning Joe after Democratic Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband were fatally shot. Minnesota Democratic state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife were also seriously injured by gunshots from the same suspect, Vance Luther Boelter, who was taken into police custody on Sunday. Klobuchar agreed with Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to increase security for Congress members after the targeted attacks.

“When I was chair of the Rules Committee, I worked really hard to get more security for members’ homes and offices. And that is because of the facts: In 2016, there were about 1,700 threats against members of Congress. Now, in the last year, there were over 9,000 threats,” Klobuchar said.

Klobuchar compared Boelter to David DePape, the man sentenced to life in prison without parole after he attacked former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband. Klobuchar noted that similar threats have also been made against judges.

“They read things online, they believe them, they start acting them out, they already are imbalanced themselves, and they actually go do what they’re reading online,” Klobuchar said. “So that has been a contributor, as well as, of course, a lot of hateful rhetoric, and there are a lot of politicians that should be looking in the mirror and bringing their rhetoric down.”

Federal and state law enforcement agencies are continuing to search for the gunman accused of gunning down Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and wounding State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette.

Jenny Boetler was stopped by police while driving in a car with several relatives near Onamia, Minnesota, late Saturday morning around 10 a.m., local outlet KTSP reported. A witness reported seeing about a dozen law enforcement vehicles converging on the scene, where they stayed for more than three hours.

Sources told the outlet that the vehicle contained a weapon, ammunition, cash and passports. The report further stressed that no arrests have been made and that the vehicle’s occupants are only being detained for questioning as of this report.

As does the Democrat Party. It seems they really, really want to run the radical Muslim socialist, criminal lover, and raging antisemite named Zohran Mamdani for mayor of New York City.

So, they have.

A few months ago, Mamdani was recorded attacking security and screaming hysterically at the U.S. Border Czar Tom Homan, in an attempt to keep another radical Muslim raging antisemite in the U.S., despite the latter not even being a U.S. citizen and having led riots and other criminal acts in the U.S. that endangered Americans. And the Democrats in New York City saw that and decided that, yes, that is the guy we want to represent us!

And a Democrat appointed judge has decided that the non-citizen, crazy radical Muslim rioter has to stay, as well.

Unfortunately for moderate New York City residents, it will not be easy to stop the crazy, radical Muslim socialist criminal lover express train. In 2024, in New York City, the Democrat candidate for president won 70 percent. In 2022, in New York City, the Democrat candidate for NY governor won 70 percent. And in 2021, the Democrat candidate for New York City mayor, Eric Adams, won almost 70 percent of the vote.

Minnesota faces federal lawsuit for offering illegal immigrants college tuition benefits denied to Americans

The Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a complaint challenging laws in Minnesota that provide free and reduced in-state tuition to illegal aliens, claiming the laws are unconstitutional.

Under federal law, higher education institutions are prohibited from providing benefits to illegal aliens not offered to U.S. citizens.

According to the DOJ, Minnesota’s laws unconstitutionally discriminate against U.S. citizens and are in direct conflict with federal law.

“No state can be allowed to treat Americans like second-class citizens in their own country by offering financial benefits to illegal aliens,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said. “The Department of Justice just won on this exact issue in Texas, and we look forward to taking this fight to Minnesota in order to protect the rights of American citizens first.”

By filing the lawsuit, the DOJ is demanding that Minnesota stop the enforcement of a law requiring public colleges and universities to provide in-state tuition rates and free tuition based on certain income circumstances to immigrants in the country illegally who maintain state residency.

U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer will proceed with evaluating Gov. Gavin Newsom‘s (D-CA) claims that President Donald Trump‘s use of the National Guard in Los Angeles violated a federal law preventing troops from being used for regular law enforcement activities, despite an appeals court ruling that Breyer could not pause the use of the troops.

Last week, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit blocked Breyer’s previous pause on Trump’s federalization of the National Guard after Breyer said the president unlawfully took over it.

After the appeals court took jurisdiction over those claims, Breyer requested briefs from California officials and the Justice Department on whether they believed he could still rule on Newsom’s claims that the deployed troops violated the Posse Comitatus Act by engaging in civilian law enforcement activities. In an order filed late Wednesday evening in California, Breyer ruled that he has that authority and ordered some discovery to be permitted in the case.

“Both parties posit that the Court does retain that jurisdiction,” Breyer wrote in his order. “Upon review, the Court agrees. The Court may proceed with the case, including by hearing arguments on the propriety of a preliminary injunction on Posse Comitatus Act grounds and by allowing discovery.”

Breyer said he would consider a preliminary injunction on Newsom’s allegations that the Trump administration violated the Posse Comitatus Act following a timeline requested by California officials. Their briefing requested responses and depositions be completed by July 11 and a supplemental briefing be filed by July 15.

Democrat states demand FDA end safety checks for abortion pill distribution– www.lifesitenews.com

The moves comes as Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) signaled a review.

Key takeaways

  • The abortion pill “record” – including the “experts” who originally reviewed the drug – has been kept secret from the American public, so any pro-abortion bias involved in the approval decisions is unknown.
  • Big Abortion has executed a scheme to hide abortion pill complications for decades, potentially impacting FDA decisions.
  • The Petitioner States seeking to be released from following safety protocols ultimately want increased access to abortion.
  • The states admit that most of their abortions are already committed by pill, yet they claim the REMS safety protocols are “burdensome.”
  • The states go so far as to claim that known risks associated with the abortion pill aren’t caused by the pill, despite the FDA’s mifepristone label and other studies showing otherwise.

A Democrat congresswoman is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday to face federal charges after allegedly obstructing Homeland Security agents during a chaotic scene at an immigration facility last month.

Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) has been indicted on three counts, including forcibly impeding federal officers during the attempted arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka at the Delaney Hall immigration facility on May 9.

McIver has stated through her legal team that she intends to plead not guilty.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), the incident unfolded when McIver and two other members of Congress claimed they were conducting a “congressional oversight visit” that coincided with an organized immigration protest.

Federal agents said Mayor Baraka was initially granted access to a restricted area but refused to leave when ordered.

When officers attempted to arrest him for trespassing, McIver allegedly intervened physically, placing herself between the mayor and the officers, slamming her forearm into one agent and grabbing another by the arms, using force to block the arrest.

The DOJ notes that the first two charges against McIver each carry up to eight years in prison, while the third charge carries a maximum one-year sentence.

The case is being prosecuted by Acting U.S. Attorney Alina Habba, a former legal representative for President Donald Trump.

Prominent MAGA-aligned commentators launched xenophobic attacks on Zohran Mamdani over the 33-year-old state lawmaker’s Muslim religion following his apparent Democratic primary win in the New York City mayoral race.

In a series of posts, conservative social media personality Laura Loomer wrote “New York City will be destroyed,” Muslims will start “committing jihad all over New York” and that “NYC is about to see 9/11 2.0.”

If elected in November, Mamdani would become the first Muslim mayor in New York City’s history. And while many conservatives have criticized Mamdani’s progressive policies, others have taken aim at Mamdani for his religion.

“24 years ago a group of Muslims killed 2,753 people on 9/11,” conservative activist Charlie Kirk posted on X, referencing the number of people killed in New York. “Now a Muslim Socialist is on pace to run New York City.”

“New York City has fallen,” Donald Trump Jr. wrote, quoting a post by Michael Malice about when New Yorkers “endured 9/11 instead of voting for it.”

An initial classified assessment found the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities set back Tehran’s nuclear program by a matter of months, according to three sources familiar with its contents.

The assessment, produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s military intelligence wing, said the strikes caused the entrances to two nuclear enrichment facilities, including Fordo, to be sealed off. Resumption of the enrichment program may be determined by how long it takes Iran to clear the entrances and make repairs to electrical and water supplies, two sources familiar with the report’s findings said.

The DIA assessment also indicates some of Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile was moved before the strikes, one of the sources said.

Officials familiar with the report cautioned that it was an early assessment that could change as more information becomes available about the sites. It was not immediately clear at what confidence level the judgments included in the report were made.

A complete battle damage assessment is still being assembled, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine said on Sunday at a press availability.

“Final battle damage will take some time, but initial battle damage assessments indicate that all three sites sustained extremely severe damage and destruction,” Caine said.

President Trump revealed Wednesday that Israel sent agents to Iran’s bombed nuclear sites to confirm their “total obliteration” — while insisting his surprise attack was too quick for Tehran to have removed its uranium.

Trump was adamant the strikes wiped out Iran’s nuclear facilities and set the program back decades — despite a leaked preliminary intelligence assessment suggesting Tehran could salvage it within months.

The top congressional Democratic leaders congratulated state Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani for his victory in New York‘s Democratic mayoral primary on Wednesday, but they stopped short of offering a full-throttle endorsement of the self-proclaimed socialist.

Both Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) released statements minutes apart on Wednesday celebrating Mamdani’s “strong” and “impressive” campaign focused on the economy and affordability.

Jeffries said he spoke to Mamdani on Wednesday morning and they “plan to meet in Central Brooklyn shortly.”

“Assemblyman Mamdani ran a strong campaign that relentlessly focused on the economy and bringing down the high cost of living in New York City,” Jeffries wrote.

Schumer said he also spoke to the assemblyman and is “looking forward to getting together soon.”

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis quipped on Wednesday that the victory of Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani of New York City could lead to an exodus from the Big Apple.

Former Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo conceded the Democratic primary Tuesday night to Mamdani, who is pushing an array of left-wing policy positions from city-run grocery stores to $30 minimum wage. DeSantis said the resulting exodus from New York could lead to an increase in the Sunshine State’s property values. “If this socialist mayor candidate wins – you’re gonna see real estate value skyrocket even more in Palm Beach, because people are gonna get out of that city,” DeSantis said during a bill-signing ceremony for legislation covering pubic beaches. “As bad as DeBlasio was, this guy is like going to be way, way, worse.”

ARREST HER, HOMAN: L.A.-Area Vice Mayor Encourages Gangs to Fight ICE– pjmedia.com

Source Link
Excerpt:

Did you hear the one about the Los Angeles-area vice mayor who (allegedly!) encouraged local gang members to “organize” against immigration control?

It’s no joke, but I’ll get back to that in just a sec after this important reminder.

It seems like just earlier this month [it was just earlier this month, Steve —Editor] that Tom Homan, President Donald Trump’s border czar, threatened to arrest literally “anybody” interfering with ICE roundups of illegal aliens.

“Every day in L.A., we’re going to enforce immigration law,” Homan said during the “resistance” to ICE raids almost three weeks ago — and not for the first time. “I don’t care if they like it or not.”

“I’ll say it about anybody,” Homan said when asked if that applied to elected officials. “You cross that line, it’s a felony to knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien. It’s a felony to impede law enforcement doing their job.”

Then there’s Cynthia Gonzalez, vice mayor of Cudahy in southeast Los Angeles County. She didn’t so much cross Homan’s line but launched herself across it in rocket-boosted roller skates, waving pom-poms, and singing, “Let’s kill some ICE officers, everybody!” with the combined vocal power of all Three Tenors.

“Not for nothing, but I wanna know where all the cholos [gang members] are at in Los Angeles,” Gonzalez said in a since-deleted video posted to social media. “18th Street, Florencia. Where’s the leadership at?… Now that your hood is being invaded by the biggest gang there is, there ain’t a peep out of you… Don’t be trying to claim no block, no nothing if you’re not showing up right now trying to help out and organize.”

It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to know what Gonzalez means when she tells street gangs to “help out and organize.” Those folks aren’t exactly known for their skills at printing protest signs and chanting.

There’s a word for armed resistance to legal authorities. Someone want to remind me what it is?

Does maybe Tom Homan want to remind Ms. Gonzalez?

Do we need to remind Homan?

The Department of Homeland Security is fully aware of the vice mayor’s video. The official DHS X account reposted it yesterday, calling her words “despicable,” and including a stern warning.

“This kind of garbage has led to a more than 500 percent increase in assaults against our ICE law enforcement officers,” DHS posted. “Secretary Noem has been clear: If you assault a federal officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

That’s nice, but enough with the stern warnings already. Regular lawbreakers are difficult enough for any government to deal with. But when government officials encourage lawbreaking — hell, not just lawbreaking, but urging violence against law enforcement officers — without ever being held to account, that’s real Fall of Rome stuff.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that MAGA world is just itching to see some perp walks. Just one would do, really, to get people’s spirits up. Seriously, fellas, we were promised some perp walks, and certain Democrats — I’m looking at you, Gavin Newsom, Karen Bass, and now Cynthia Gonzalez — are practically begging to spend at least the night in a local lockup.

The ball’s in your court, Mr. Homan — and so are the cuffs.

Pro-Hamas activist, professional insurgent, and non-citizen Mahmoud Khalil has been released from jail despite being a non-citizen arrested for inciting violence and riots. A Joe Biden-appointed federal judge has just ordered the release of pro-Hamas activist Mahmoud Khalil from immigration detention.

The activist judge issued the order on Friday, citing “extraordinary circumstances.”

Judge Michael Farbiarz ruled that Khalil, a Syrian national, was not a flight risk or a danger to the community.

Farbiarz made the decision during a hearing in New Jersey.

The Democrat judge called the detention of the foreign national by immigration authorities “highly unusual.”

Khalil had been held in a detention facility in Jena, Louisiana, following his arrest in March outside his apartment near Columbia University.

He is facing deportation proceedings after his student visa had expired.
