KXAN News reported that as of 10:08 p.m. (CDT), protesters in Austin had torn “down construction barriers, scooters and other equipment” and were “throwing it in the middle” of the street as they walked.

Prior to this, law enforcement officials in Austin had warned protesters to “get off the street” around 9:31 p.m., according to the outlet.

What we’re seeing in L.A. is what Democrats instigate and excuse when their policies are obstructed. They’re happy with it. Democrat Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said as much on Monday on CNN, after two days of foreign nationals hurling boulders at cop cars, setting private property on fire, and tossing explosives at federal government facilities. “I just have to say that if you dial back time and go [back] to Friday,” she said, “if immigration raids had not happened here, we would not have the disorder that went on last night.”

The “immigration raids” Bass referred to were multiple Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention operations throughout the city for the purpose of apprehending migrants residing in the U.S. illegally. That’s an ancient process in L.A. now formerly known as “upholding the law.” In effect, Bass was arguing that so long as illegal aliens were permitted to break the law, there would be no problems.

A professional operation began to permeate the Los Angeles riots on Monday, nearly stunning one set of broadcasters into silence after they watched a truckload of organizers hand out riot-style face shields while preparing to take on National Guard and Marine soldiers entering the city.

The moment of realization dawned on anchors and a correspondent with KTTV in L.A. while watching activists arrive in a pickup truck and unload boxes of what they originally suspected were groceries or other peaceful contributions to the fourth day of demonstrations. However, the mood quickly turned dark when the group of newscasters saw markings on the dozens of boxes being handed out into the crowd.

“Look at this, we have people right now dropping off food and water. Preparations are underway for what could be a long night right now,” correspondent Matthew Seedorff said from the field.

Fox L.A. anchor Christine Devine responded, saying the scene did not appear to indicate an “organized rally” was taking place, like earlier in the day, when riot gear and weapons were being handed out. But it wasn’t long before she and co-anchor Elex Michaelson realized that the same preparations for violence were occurring.

“What are those boxes?” Michaelson asked, to which Devine replied, “Are those masks?”

“That doesn’t look like food and water,” Michaelson responded.

“No, those are masks. So people are prepping for some sort of altercation with police as we speak,” said Seedorff.

Not far away, another Fox L.A. correspondent described a “festive atmosphere,” Michaelson went on, “including a lot of older folks who were there for the right reasons.”

“You probably don’t put on a mask unless you have a plan of not wanting somebody to see your face,” he added.

As The New York Post reported, Rick Cole, the chief deputy controller of LA, revealed that his twin 26-year-old daughters, Lucia Aguilar and Antonia, were taken into custody by enforcement Sunday night during a rally outside a hotel in Pasadena, where he once served as mayor.

“I’ve just seen pictures of my two daughters on a curb in downtown Los Angeles in handcuffs. So I’m going to be figuring out where they are so I can go bail them out,” Cole told agitators.

“This (ICE raid) is personal for me and for my family,” Cole added. “It’s also personal for the Mayor (Victor Gordo). When he was growing up, he had a coffee can on the kitchen table with money—in case his dad did not come home from work.

“So, this is personal for Pasadena, because these are our neighbors. This is our family. These are the workers. These are Pasadenans. And we’re going to protect them.”

In 1992, it was “rooftop Koreans.” During the George Floyd riots of 2020, we saw high-end shops bracing for the worst — and then getting it. This weekend, we witnessed a masked rioter standing atop a burning Waymo automated taxi and waving the Mexican flag in defiance of… everything — decency, the law, even the nation he’d presumably entered illegally.

Authorities say that at least five Waymos were vandalized and set on fire, forcing the Alphabet-owned company to temporarily suspend ride-hailing service in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Waymo says there’s no evidence their cars were specifically targeted, but being able to summon one by app just to burn it? That’s not a bug, that’s a feature, at least to your average street radical.

Believe it or not, this is good news.

Lenin quipped that “the capitalists will sell us the rope we’ll hang them with.” When that didn’t work out as planned, Communist China figured that the smart move was to manufacture the rope themselves, undercut our rope producers, and hang us at their convenience.

In Los Angeles, a few lefties figured that automation would provide them with cars to set ablaze — and they were right.

Newsom and President Donald Trump have been feuding online over the decision to deploy the National Guard to Los Angeles, where Homan said things were “out of control” and the governor and Mayor Karen Bass did “nothing.” Newsom has since encouraged Homan to arrest him after the border czar warned that obstructing immigration enforcement would lead to an arrest of “anybody,” after which Trump revealed he would arrest the governor if he were Homan.

Following up on Newsom’s taunt, Homan said that protesters have “the right to protest,” but cannot impede law enforcement efforts and harbor illegal immigrants from deportation.

“And the question was, ‘Well, how about Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom, what if they cross the line?’ I said they’ll be prosecuted, too,” Homan said on Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime. “Haven’t they said for the last four years no one’s above the law? Jory Rand went as far as to say the protestors were “having fun watching cars burn,” but would he feel that way if that was his car? Would this have been just another example of the liberal media distracting from the obvious facts?

Los Angeles took a beating earlier this year with the historic wildfires in January but has taken another pounding with the city’s breakout over ICE arrests and deportations. Again, the city and nation turn heads due to the lack of leadership and command to simply protect the people of Los Angeles, ranging from California Governor Gavin Newsom, down to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

In a clip that will live infamy alongside this and this, from the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020, Rand described the footage this way:

I don’t know if there’s any police activity pushing these folks this way, or perhaps just the smoke. It’s getting too hard to breathe. More explosions here from those cars. But we do have a decent sized crowd watching these cars continue to burn. Otherwise, as Tim said, things do look relatively peaceful at this hour. We saw the folks at Aliso and Alameda sitting down on the ground. We saw the folks at Temple and Alameda just kind of waiting it out. It’s broken down to just a couple dozen people at that location, and so things seem pretty-It’s hard to say that with three cars burning, but things do seem relatively calm minus these cars that have been set on fire.
