Illegal Immigration

Blurb:

The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government holds a hearing on the inaccuracies of the 2020 census counting illegal aliens on Wednesday, November 19.

“The census’s counting of illegal immigrants is unconstitutional, leads to inaccurate results and the disenfranchisement of American voters in certain states, and benefits states that intentionally disregard federal immigration law via ‘sanctuary’ policies,” the committee noted.

The hearing will also examine how the Census Bureau’s counting errors “benefitted mostly blue states” and privatization of data “may have led to inaccurate population estimates in the 2020 census.”

California Bill Looks to Make it Easy for Strangers to Take Custody of Your Children

The DNC-CCP of California is attempting to pass legislation, AB495, that will effectively make it is easy for a stranger to be recognized as a legal “caregiver” of your child in the name of protecting unattended illegal minors from being taken from child traffickers (or so it seems). The bill is called the “Family Preparedness Plan Act of 2025,” but seems decidedly anti-family in its aims.

Erin Friday, an attorney and president of Our Duty-US, warned, “The bill’s language applies to any child for any reason, regardless of immigration status, and grants temporary legal rights to individuals with no blood relation, including people who may not even be known to the child’s parents.”

Widespread outrage is growing over a proposed bill currently moving through the California legislature, which experts say could be easily abused by traffickers by giving almost any unrelated individual the right to assume custody-like control over a child without the parents’ knowledge or consent.

Assembly Bill 495 (AB 495), which has been named the “Family Preparedness Plan Act of 2025,” was authored by Assemblywoman Celeste Rodriguez (San Fernando-D) and is being presented as a solution for illegal immigrant minors whose parents are detained to live with a “caregiver.” But legal experts and parental rights advocates say that the bill is worded so loosely that it would give unvetted, non-related individuals broad powers in directing the care of children, to the point that the legislation could be widely abused by human traffickers and kidnappers.
