Jasmine Crockett

Blurb:

There’s a meme that floats around the X-Twitters about how so much of being a progressive is pretending that you don’t know what things mean. Exhibit Q is Jasmine Crockett claiming that Democrats don’t call for violence against political opponents and have never called for violence. Jazzy, for someone who barely exists off of social media, also apparently doesn’t know how the internets work. The GOP had no problem answering her challenge with twenty examples.

Or, it depends on how you define “call to violence.” If we are using the “independent” “fact” checker standard, because it’s the GOP and no Democrat said the actual words “I call you to commit violence” verbatim and in that order, an argument could be made that none of these examples are a call to violence.

Even though the people making that argument are the same people who called for Sarah Palin to be held as an accessory to murder for using a commonly used crosshairs graphic to illustrate how congressional seats were being targeted. A graphic so commonly used, Democrats were using the same graphic for the same reason in the same election cycle.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has opened an investigation into Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) over donations made to her 2024 campaign by the Democratic fundraising organization Act Blue.

The FEC began its probe after receiving a complaint from the conservative Coolidge-Reagan Foundation in late March.

The complaint alleges that Crockett received 53 separate donations of $595 from a 73 year old supporter named Randy Best through the Act Blue portal.

However, when one of Crockett’s opponents for 2026 spoke to Best’s wife, she denied that the couple knew anything about donations, raising concerns that the Act Blue donations may have been made by others with donations being given under false names.

It’s a day that ends in “y,” so you know that Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett has said something absurd.

Only this time, her drivel isn’t so much infuriating, as it usually is, but actually kind of funny — though the laughs are at her expense.

The 44-year-old Crockett has recently emerged as one of the most public faces of the Democratic Party during President Donald Trump’s second term, often taking the pulpit to be the loudest and most annoying voice speaking out against the current presidential administration.

Her entire schtick is to babble endlessly (oftentimes with a peculiar accent) while using a bunch of leftist buzzwords, but she does it with a sass and attitude that some people apparently find appealing.
