Doug Emhoff’s ex-girlfriend broke her silence on allegations, first leveled through three of her friends, that the second gentleman slapped her so hard she “spun around.” The woman told the Daily Mail she is “disgusted” by Emhoff’s “persona of a perfect spouse,” calling the narrative “completely fabricated.”

“What’s frightening for a woman that’s been on the other end of it, is watching this completely fabricated persona being portrayed,” said the woman, whom the Mail identified only as “Jane.”

“He’s being held out to be the antithesis of who he actually is. And that is utterly shocking.”

Will Kamala Harris cause a Democratic Party Jan. 6 crisis if she loses?– www.washingtonexaminer.com

Vice President Kamala Harris’s closing election message is that former President Donald Trump is a fascist who loves Adolf Hitler. It could set the stage for more Jan. 6 chaos if Harris loses.

Harris has decided that grocery prices or illegal immigration should take a backseat in her campaign messaging to declaring that Trump is a fascist and promoting an anonymously sourced hit piece from the Atlantic, which previously published anonymous claims about Trump that were rebutted on the record by multiple people, that claims Trump repeatedly praised Hitler.

Of course, it is entirely possible that Harris doesn’t believe any of this, as calling Republicans “Hitler” has been a Democratic tradition going back 60 years, as my colleague Christopher Tremoglie has detailed. Harris is losing minority support in polls, which might best explain why she is invoking the Nazis so she can racially fearmonger votes without having to do the legwork of actually winning those voters over.

Border Patrol Calls Out Biden-Harris Admin for ‘Blatant Attempt’ To Hide Border Crisis ‘To Protect Their Image Before the Election’– freebeacon.com

Border Patrol officials criticized the Biden-Harris administration for its “blatant attempt” to downplay the “optics” of the ongoing border crisis “to protect their image before the election.”

The administration has instructed Border Patrol agents to ship illegal immigrants from the overcrowded San Diego Border Patrol center to border towns in Texas and Arizona, to avoid releasing them onto the streets of San Diego, sources told the New York Post.

San Diego County Border Patrol supervisor Jim Desmond called this migrant transfer a “blatant attempt” by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris “to protect their image before the election.”

“This isn’t about securing the border for the Feds—it’s about optics,” Desmond said.

Every week the San Diego Border Patrol center, which is at 122 percent capacity, sends “numerous buses” full of illegal immigrants to Yuma, Arizona, and “three to four planes” to McAllen, Texas, Desmond said.

Visiting Muslim communities in Michigan with Liz Cheney in tow sent a message, but not the one Vice President Kamala Harris meant to send.

Cheney, a former Republican member of Congress from Wyoming, emerged as a fierce critic of former President Donald Trump after the Capitol incursion.

She joined Harris recently as the vice president made a pit stop in Royal Oak, Michigan, where Cheney focused on bringing moderate Republicans into the Harris camp, according to Fox News.

However, some members of Michigan’s extensive Muslim population said the gesture made Harris’s comments supporting Palestinians seem like little more than lip service.

“It was surprising for us as Arab Americans to have Kamala Harris bringing someone whose family name always reminds us of war crimes in the Middle East,” Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib said Monday.

Earlier this week, we received confirmation that former President Donald Trump would be interviewed on Joe Rogan’s popular podcast on Friday. Rogan’s show has more than 14 million followers on the Spotify platform.

Last week, Reuters reported that Kamala Harris “could sit down for an interview with popular podcaster Joe Rogan, whose audience leans heavily towards young men, as she works to shore up support with male voters.” However, her campaign has now confirmed she won’t be doing it.

“We talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast. Unfortunately, it isn’t going to work out right now because of the scheduling of this period of the campaign,” Harris-Walz campaign spokesman Iam Sams told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes Thursday evening.

It was always doubtful that Kamala would ever appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast, given her preference for tightly controlled interviews with sympathetic hosts. Just last week, her disastrous interview with Bret Baier on Fox News fueled speculation that she’d avoid taking risks like a Rogan appearance at this point in the race.

CNN panels of mostly left-wing pundits blasted Kamala Harris’ performance at the network’s town hall Wednesday evening, pointing out that she constantly evaded questions by changing the subject to Donald Trump, or by giving “circular,”  “word salad” answers devoid of meaningful content.

“The thing that would concern me is when she doesn’t want to answer a question her habit is to kind of go to ‘word salad city,’ and she did that on a couple of answers,” commented former Obama advisor David Axelrod. “One was on Israel. Anderson asked a direct question, ‘Would you be stronger on Israel than Trump?’ And there was a seven-minute answer, but none of it related to the question he was asking,” the Democrat noted.

“On certain questions like that, on immigration, I thought she missed an opportunity because she would acknowledge no concerns about any of the administration’s policies. And that’s a mistake. Sometimes you have to concede things and she didn‘t concede much,” Axelrod said.

Journalist Mark Halperin said Thursday that Vice President Kamala Harris’ “performance” during her Wednesday CNN town hall left many Democrats feeling resigned about her candidacy.

Harris faced criticism for her indirect answers during the event from CNN host Dana Bash and CNN senior political commentator David Axelrod shortly following the town hall. Halperin, on his 2WAY platform, asserted Democrats now realize Harris won’t have the chance to sharpen her skills, with the presidential campaign nearing its end.

On April 24, 2007, Kamala Harris testified before Congress in support of the John R. Justice Prosecutors and Defenders Incentive Act of 2007. The bill, which was introduced that year but never passed the upper chamber, would have created a student loan repayment program for state and local prosecutors, and Harris, then the district attorney of San Francisco, argued it would draw top legal talent to offices like hers.

In a written statement to the House Judiciary Committee, she described how debt-addled prosecutors often decamp to the private sector a few years into the job, lured by the prospect of higher pay that could be used to pay off law school debt. That dynamic had left many district attorneys’ offices short-staffed, she said, forcing them to put rookie attorneys on complex cases.

“There are numerous criminal cases that are particularly difficult because of the dynamics involved,” Harris wrote. “To name just a few—child abuse, elder neglect, domestic violence, identity theft and public corruption. The stakes are simply too high to allow any attorney other than experienced prosecutors to handle these matters.”

By repaying the loans of prosecutors and public defenders, Harris argued, the bill, which had been introduced with bipartisan support, would provide an incentive for lawyers to enter public service, or at least diminish the incentive to leave it.
