‘Everybody’s Quiet’: Van Jones Blasts Democrats After Mamdani ‘Stabbed’ Supporter ‘In The Back’ wltreport.com

As antisemitism and socialism gain a serious foothold within the Democrat Party ahead of this year’s midterm elections, even leftists like former Obama adviser and current CNN talking head Van Jones are feeling left out.

He’s been increasingly outspoken in his criticism of the party, including the widespread silence that followed what he described as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s betrayal of Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) by endorsing fellow socialist candidate Darializa Chevalier.

As Breitbart reported:

He added, “I just want to say that there was a shockwave through this party when Mamdani, who everybody’s excited about, stabbed in the back, Espaillat, who…was the chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, beloved by everybody, who backed Mamdani. Mamdani said, I will back you. Then he turns around, stabs him in the back. And backed Chevalier, who has no credentials, except she’s known for having celebrated October 7 murders of Israelis on October 8, and never apologized. This sent a shockwave through the party. People said, hold on a second, why, of all the people in New York City, would Mamdani pick this person to betray someone? And then no one says anything. Everybody’s quiet.”

Scarborough Urges Democrats to Welcome Socialist Wing Ahead of Midterms www.newsbusters.org

The Democratic Party has found itself in the midst of an internal rift just as the midterms are looming. Between revolutionary democratic socialists and establishment liberals, even the media has struggled to pick sides in the battle for the heart of the party. MS NOW’s Joe Scarborough, however, seems to have settled on a choice. On Monday’s Morning Joe, he urged the establishment to let the socialists waltz right on in.

Beginning the segment, Scarborough couldn’t seem to understand why party officials might not want to let socialists and communists into their party. Why can’t we all just get along?

I don’t understand it: this is a time Democrats should be coming together, and yet, every opinion piece I see, every social media post, it’s like about a division in the Democratic party that doesn’t even have to be.

Scarborough’s response to the party divide? Just welcome the socialists with open arms! And pretend they are the ones who will convert to the establishment.

I will say, as a former Republican, now an independent, who is for pro-democracy forces, my attitude has always been, we’re Baptists. We will play 16 hymns of ‘Just as I Am’, if that’s what it takes to bring new converts down. We will wait. And when those new converts come in, we hug them.

Many white evangelical Christians view Donald Trump as chosen by God to lead despite not seeing him as personally devout. A recent study suggests 60 percent of them believe Trump has pushed the US closer to Christian principles, blurring the line between church and state.

On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “OutFront,” CNN Senior Political Commentator Van Jones said that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) “stabbed in the back” outgoing Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) for “Chevalier, who has no credentials, except she’s known for having celebrated October 7 murders of Israelis on October 8, and never apologized. … And then no one says anything. Everybody’s quiet.”

Jones said, “I am happy that the young people are fighting for affordability, Medicare for all, all the good things. I’ve been waiting my whole life to see a youth movement do what it’s doing. But it’s being hijacked by people who are putting in nutty ideas, supporting terrorists, nutty ideas saying we don’t need cops and prisons, we can’t deport anybody, even if they rape somebody. Who said this? Chevalier.”

He added, “I just want to say that there was a shockwave through this party when Mamdani, who everybody’s excited about, stabbed in the back, Espaillat, who…was the chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, beloved by everybody, who backed Mamdani. Dozens of soldiers were injured in previously unreported strikes last week, the New York Times says

The Pentagon has withheld information about dozens of service members injured during the war with Iran, The New York Times reported on Monday, citing US officials.

On Friday, Iran struck a US military site in Jordan, killing two soldiers, wounding four, and leaving one missing. According to the Times, however, dozens of service members were injured throughout the week in three other strikes against US forces in the country. Several helicopters were also reportedly damaged in the attacks.

An official told CNN that “it can take several days or even weeks” for an injury to be logged into the Defense Casualty Analysis System (DCAS), an official database. A total of 427 service members have been injured in the war with Iran, the Times said, citing official figures.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell argued that “providing real-time information on non-fatal casualties to the media is the same as providing that information directly to our adversaries.”

President Donald Trump said Monday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “will not be arrested” when he visits New York in September, pushing back on a suggestion by Mayor Zohran Mamdani that such an arrest could happen.

Mamdani has said New York City’s legal department is discussing the possibility of arresting Netanyahu when the prime minister is in the city to attend the United Nations General Assembly.

“I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu belongs in The Hague,” Mamdani told The New York Times’ “The Interview” podcast that published Saturday.

“He’s a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court. And what you will find is that is an opinion that is held by many purely because of what his actions have wrought over these last many years,” the mayor said.

White House Labels CNN ‘The Enemy of the People’ Over Trump Address Censorship www.westernjournal.com

The network that bills itself as “The Most Trusted Name in News” thinks that you trust it so much that you don’t even need to see what the president says, just their summary of it.

CNN was alone among cable news outlets in refusing to air President Donald Trump’s prime-time remarks on Thursday night regarding election integrity.

CNN’s John King admitted that they were “not going to take it live” because “this president, sadly, has a history of misleading,” so they would summarize it in their preferred bullet points. I believe this is known as “censorship” in other contexts, particularly if you’re a cable news network and the only real news being made on Thursday night is the president addressing the nation.

The White House shot back with its own assessment of CNN’s position. “FAKE NEWS CNN IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!” President Donald Trump’s team wrote on X, along with a shot of all the other cable news networks that let America hear what Trump had to say:

President Donald Trump is set to address the nation July 16 with an expected primetime focus on election integrity.

Trump’s comments and news reports show he will focus on the 2020 election that he lost.

The administration has been cagey about offering further details, saying Americans will need to tune in.

Trump alluded to the speech’s topic July 14; when a reporter asked whether his remarks would be about “election machines’ integrity,” Trump said, “It will concern that subject.”

“Our country has to shape up,” Trump said, adding, “it doesn’t get bigger because without free and fair elections, you don’t have a country.” MS NOW, citing unnamed White House officials, had reported that Trump will talk about newly declassified intelligence reports about foreign nations’ plans to interfere in the 2020 election.

Trump has made unproven statements about elections and voting by mail for a decade. He has used those falsehoods to push for changing election laws and recently called on Congress to pass the SAVE America Act, a bill that would tighten voter registration and voter ID requirements.

Neville Roy Singham, the wealthy husband of the founder of the progressive non-profit Code Pink and benefactor of far-left political causes, is under criminal investigation by a grand jury in the Southern District of New York, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the matter.

The investigation began by looking into possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and has since expanded into a criminal tax probe over whether money was unlawfully funneled through nonprofits he controls and whether he lied on the tax forms for those nonprofits, known as “990s,” the sources said.

The criminal investigation was first reported by Fox News.

Singham is a major financial backer of a New York City-based nonprofit called the People’s Forum, a left-leaning nonprofit that advocates for causes impacting the working class and other marginalized groups.

According to a Pew survey, 44% of American Muslims recently surveyed expressed a favorable opinion of Hamas.

The United States designated Hamas a foreign terrorist organization long before it killed 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023, raped women, burned families alive, tortured civilians, and kidnapped children and elderly grandparents. Its leaders have repeatedly declared that Israel should cease to exist.

Yet nearly half of Muslim Americans surveyed said they view the group favorably.

Many Muslim Americans have publicly condemned terrorism while backing the rights of Palestinians. But 44% support is significant.

Imagine if a comparable percentage of any other religious or ethnic group expressed favorable views toward a different U.S.-designated terrorist organization, such as ISIS.

According to U.S. News & World Report’s most recent medical school rankings, the University of California, San Francisco (“UCSF”) is a Tier 1 medical school for both research and primary care. If that’s the case, all of us need to be afraid, because UCSF’s chancellor just revealed that he believes men can get pregnant.

When I was growing up and still living in San Francisco, I knew UCSF was a premier institution. As a child in the 1970s, we had family friends affiliated with it, and as an adult, I received medical treatment there and had close friends who were students and graduates.

Back then, it was an institution that was justly famous for the quality of its students, faculty, medical training, and medical care. It was undoubtedly one of the best of the best in America, for it was rigorously focused on scientific facts and the scientific process. While there was always a political edge to its functioning, as is the case with any major institution, it was a meritocratic medical school, research facility, and hospital.

However, by the mid-1990s, things were changing. I knew from those of my friends who worked there that a toxic, anti-male, anti-white mentality was beginning to invade the institution. Highly qualified white men were being passed over for positions there in favor of manifestly less qualified minorities and women, and it was beginning to be a hostile work environment for the men already there.

Marco Rubio looks to inspire global crackdown on far-left ‘terrorism’ – thenationalnews.com

EXCERPT:

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is hosting an international summit in Washington on Thursday that aims to address the threat of “far-left political terrorism”.

The administration of President Donald Trump says countries around the world have a blind spot for what US officials see as a rising wave of left-wing political violence.

Mr Trump has clamped down on left-wing groups, particularly Antifa, and has proclaimed that the decentralised anti-fascist movement is a domestic terrorist organisation. Antifa has frequently protested against his hardline immigration enforcement.

Mr Trump has also blamed left-wing extremism for the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah last year.

At least 65 countries have been invited to attend Thursday’s day-long event. A senior State Department official told reporters that some interior or foreign ministers would be among those attending.

The summit would help counter-terrorism officials to discuss what the Trump administration says is a growing and sophisticated global threat, the official said.

“Far-left political terrorism is resurgent, manifesting in violent terrorist acts across the Western Hemisphere, Europe, Asia and beyond,” the State Department said in a statement. “These are not isolated incidents. They reflect a deliberate, ideologically motivated strategy to destabilise free societies”.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and journalist Nick Shirley blew the lid open on how fraudsters in Minnesota used taxpayer funds to support a vicious radical terrorist group in Somalia.

Johnson questioned Shirley during a Wednesday Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC) hearing on government fraud.

“I mean, $700 million in cash flowing out of the Minneapolis airport back to, you know, countries in Africa,” Johnson said. “Have either of you gentlemen kind of investigated the foreign sourcing or an organization of a lot of this fraud? I mean, we’re opening up to foreign governments to fund their own operations.”

Shirley responded by saying “it’s been proven that a lot of the money in suitcases that left Minnesota went back into the hands of people inside Somalia.”

He further explained that in New York, daycare fraud is so rampant that at many facilities, nobody “actually knows who the owner is.”

Every Democratic seat sat empty during a Senate hearing on taxpayer fraud on Wednesday as independent journalist Nick Shirley and activist James O’Keefe testified before lawmakers, prompting sharp criticism from Republicans over the absence.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who chaired the hearing, pointed to the vacant seats, saying Democrats had been invited but did not attend.

“You’ve got some testimony from the person I kind of call as a fraud-busting hero, Nick Shirley is there, and you’ve got political activist James O’Keefe there, and a lot of Republicans in the room, and I think we have a shot of the empty seats… empty seats where Democrats would be sitting,” Paul said.
