The White House hasn’t ruled out the possibility that President Joe Biden may commute Hunter Biden’s upcoming federal sentence following his conviction on gun-related charges.
Hunter Biden’s sentencing date has not yet been scheduled. In the federal system, it’s common for there to be a two to three-month delay between conviction and sentencing.
“As we all know, the sentencing hasn’t even been scheduled yet,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday.
Joe Biden told ABC News last week that he would NOT pardon his son.
