A new pass in Englewood has been formed by Hurricane Milton’s strong winds and storm surge, according to The Weather Channel.The storm cut a new pass through a barrier island, which happened two weeks after Helene ripped open Midnight Pass on Siesta Key, The Weather Channel wrote. Meteorologist Matt Devitt said that Hurricane Helene started the path and Hurricane Milton finished it. The pass is about 8 to 10 feet deep, he said.
