In a strategic move to attract more tourists in the country, China has relaxed its visa-free transit policy and now travellers can stay here for 10 days. However, the bigger news is, China has excluded its ally Pakistan from the much-famed list. In its new regulation, the National Immigration Administration (NIA) has announced visa-free entry for citizens of 54 countries.

Citizens of these countries are allowed to stay in the country for 240 hours i.e. 10 days. The report said that the list of 54 countries includes the names of countries like US, Britain, Canada, Russia and Brazil, but Pakistan and India are not there. Here’s all the details you need to know.

China‘s recent expansion of its visa–free policy has opened up new opportunities for inbound travel, especially benefiting smaller cities.

In November, China added 18 more countries to its visa–free list, including Japan and South Korea in two separate groups. Citizens of these countries can now enter for up to 30 days without a visa for business, tourism and other visits, as per a report by Chinese media CCTV.
