The gunman who opened fire on several individuals at an immigration centre in Dallas, Texas, killing one person before turning the weapon on himself, has been identified and pictured for the first time. Joshua Jahn, 29, is alleged to have shot three detainees at the Dallas ICE facility on Wednesday. Authorities confirmed that at least four people were injured and one inmate lost his life in the shooting.
The FBI revealed that bullets discovered near the shooter bore anti-ICE messages. Joseph Rothrock, head of the Texas FBI field office, said: “I could also share with you is that early evidence that we’ve seen from rounds that were found near the suspected shooter contain messages that are anti-ICE in nature. Again, this is just the most recent example of this type of attack.”
