FROM THE ROMAN REPUBLIC TO THE ROMAN EMPIRE
In the third part of our Transitions series, editor Paul Gordon Collier offers a Deep Dive on the transition from the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire.
In our report, Collier compares the education of the Roman Republic to the Empire’s approach to education. He wrote:
“In the Roman Republic, education was mostly house-based. It was reserved for those who could afford tutors. While education curricula varied, they were very similar.
“The focus of education was in preparing your child to have a career in the Senate. Public competition is what the student was being trained for, so they concentrated on oratory, persuasion, and legal argument.
“Roman education was Greek education, specifically Greek intellectual culture. This would continue and only deepen in the Empire’s education system.
“While household schooling was still happening, schools of rhetoric began to appear under the Empire. Education became more broadly standardized. Its focus changed from preparing men for competition to preparing men to serve a fixed hierarchy with predictable expectations.
“In other words, education became about training administrators subservient to a Ruler and not competitors hoping to one day have their time as ruler.”

THE PROCESS IS THE CHEAT – THE LA MAYORS RACE
In our May 12, 2026, issue of MIA, Paul Gordon Collier did a Deep Dive on the Los Angeles Mayors Race. In that deep dive, he stated, “The bellwether takeaway from my investigation in the LA Mayors Race is the Democrats have created a source for power, the Mass Mailer Election machine, that looks increasingly to be their potential downfall.
“The Progressives’ unwillingness to believe there are more victims of their policies than winners will be their end. To them, the victims who have been crying out are fringe elements clinging on to white power, whether as a white or someone now called ‘white-adjacent.’
“Progressives do not understand the real existential harm people are perceiving they are suffering as a direct result of their policies. Real or imagined, the perceptions are profoundly real to an increasing number of Americans, this writer included.
“It is as if they insist everyone right-handed should be forced to write left-handed, and everyone left-handed are now the only source for truth.
“While I am left-handed, identity epistemology (‘truth’ that is understood through truthful beingnesses, like blackness or homosexual, not whiteness or heterosexual), is nonsensical.
“It is one thing for them to believe right-handed people should write left-handed and left-handed people are the true source for truth, just by being left-handed, but it is another thing to win mass mailer elections so they can inflict that policy on the majority of human beings that don’t want to sign up for their anti-American, anti-human program.
“Their pathological view of the world has turned them into violent zealots who believe they are doing the ‘good people’ a ‘good thing’ using any means, including mass mailer election fraud, to destroy the evil outside their ‘left-handed people are now the only source for truth’ world.
“Their growing inability to see the other as anything but an existential threat to their sense of righteous indignation is making them blind to simple power realities that are setting them up for a spectacular defeat. This is assuming they keep pushing their policies as hard as they have been.”
The question is, what kind of reality of power do you live in? Is it similar to Los Angeles?

THE RAPE COLONIZATION OF BRITAIN
In our June 19, 2026, MIA issue, Paul Gordon Collier did a Deep Dive on the British Rape Gang Inquiry. In that report, a tactic for rape gangs was revealed that preyed on girls’ vulnerabilities.
Collier wrote, “These crimes have been committed for decades, since the 1950s by Pakistanis in particular, and have affected every region of our nation. The scale of the crimes committed is staggering.
“It has been previously established that, at the very least, 250,000 young white girls have been subjected to repeated rape, gang rape, trafficking, torture, pregnancy, forced Islamic conversion, and lifelong trauma.
“… In court records and official inquiries, around 87% of those convicted in these group-based child sexual exploitation (‘CSE’) cases bore distinctively Muslim names…
“The vast majority of men involved in these gangs were not convicted. Dr. Taj Hargey, an imam with the Oxford Islamic Congregation, believes the true proportion of gang members who are Muslims to be around 95.3%.
“This figure far exceeds the Muslim share of the overall United Kingdom population.
“The overwhelming majority of the rape gang networks consisted entirely of men from Muslim backgrounds – predominantly of Pakistani heritage…”
No matter how vulnerable a girl is, whether it be through her own choices or circumstances beyond her control, there is absolutely no justice for turning a blind eye to this serial conquest rape.
We don’t believe for a moment the police believed their own excuses for not prosecuting the rapists. These were just plausible deniabilities for officers who were more afraid of losing their pension to the charge of racism than protecting a neighbor’s child from being conquested by foreign rapists.
No amount of family preparation can assure that their child won’t be victimized by an aggressive groomer, but families can help reduce their risks by being fully engaged with their children, supporting and recognizing their child’s own unique agency, and finally affirming their integrity and plumblining their self-destructiveness.
We are going to give you some resources to help you explore ways you can connect with your children, even your grandchildren, but we’re also going to offer this starting mind game to help you determine in advance the best way to engage with children in your family.
The best way is one that gives your child the sense of affirmation, belonging, and care they need to build barriers between them and child predators.
MAGIC BUNNY GAME – Ask your child to imagine they have all the resources they need to do anything they want in life. What are they doing with their lives?
You might need to direct them away from scenarios that defy our understanding of reality as we know it, though we wouldn’t recommend you do that until you need to. Let the first response be as unbounded as possible before you introduce boundaries to get them on planet earth.
Most of you will get to planet earth with your child, though this will not work with a small few.
From what they describe to you, you will learn how they see themselves as fulfilled, flourishing beings. This will then direct you to where you need to go to help their dream become real. The more you are attached to their dream choice, the less likely you will be able to do this exercise.
This exercise can only work if you do not have an existential stake in the flourishing self they choose.

HELP IS NOT ON THE WAY – THE REAL IRAN DEAL
In this issue’s monthly Deep Dive on the Iran Memorandum of Understanding, Editor Paul Gordon Collier concluded, “Trump broke through that 2016 GOP Primary daring to talk like a man who intended to win in America’s interest. That same bravado spilled over onto January 13, when he spoke like a man who wanted to win for the sake of the Iranian people.
“The Conservatives mostly supported that cause from the start, and many still do, while the Progressives were never moved by the plight of the Iranian people. They passed off the protests as CIA operations, and the victims as treasonous agents rightly killed.
“Unless and until this regime gives way to Iranian liberty, the bravado that won Trump the Presidency has now led to a near-fatal (maybe fatal) mistake.
“Truly, the myth of the Teflon outsider politician died with those Iranians. So long as this regime continues to stay in power, so long as China continues to entangle itself more with Iran, Trump’s ‘Help is on the way’ will be his cry of defeat, the apex of his power and the moment of his descent.
“As we have no one else outside of Trump and the Republicans, at present, to resist progressive power through, Trump’s failure is our loss as well.
“Let us hope our increasing awareness of the fecklessness of the GOP and Trump in opposition to the progressive state will lead to the emergence of American political parties willing and able to challenge the leadership of both.”
We have long been calling on Americans to start their own American parties in response to the brokenness of the two major parties we currently have. To do that, we must first prepare ourselves to be apologists for Americanism by first understanding what it is.
