Vice President JD Vance warned that Democrats have increasingly aligned themselves with radical activists who attack the American way of life, including figures who have declared that America “deserved 9/11.”
Vance issued the warning during Fox News’s coverage of the Republican National Convention in Dallas, arguing that President Donald Trump had successfully drawn a sharp contrast between the GOP agenda and the increasingly radical politics embraced by Democrats.
With the country preparing to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Vance pointed specifically to Democrats campaigning alongside figures who have defended or downplayed anti-American rhetoric.
“So, I think what the president tried to do tonight very successfully was really two things,” Vance said.
“First of all, you got to talk about all the amazing things that we did over the last couple of years.
“No taxes on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime.
“That stuff all goes away if the Democrats take control.”
