EXCERPT:
A new study from a conservative media watchdog group has found that nearly 60 percent of Americans get their news from at least one of the Big Four news aggregators: Apple News, Google News, Yahoo News and Microsoft’s MSN.
Just the News reports that, according to MRC’s tracking and research data, these four applications sit on nearly every smartphone in America and serve as a dominant news window for an estimated 58 percent of Americans.
According to the MRC’s special report, released earlier this month, all four aggregators exhibit a heavy left-wing bias by overwhelmingly surfacing mainstream and left-leaning publications while filtering out conservative outlets.
MRC STUDY: Right-leaning outlets were 15% of the top news sites studied, but got just 1% of Apple News feed appearances and 2.7% on Google News. 10 months of data. https://t.co/RbvnEh9XNm
