EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Our Situation Reports are an attempt to capture the most essential bellwethers of a covered period of time. This Situation Report is divided into two parts.
For part one of this report, we have selected four bellwether trends in U.S. Politics, and Geopolitics for Q2 2026. This report analyzes the four selected bellwether trends in each of these two major categories.
Part Two will include an AI, market, and overall analysis, including a Predictive Analysis and Recommendations.

TOP BELLWETHER OF THE QUARTER:
Our bellwether this quarter is the rise of the progressive state. The progressive state has been steadily emerging, but we believe it came to a head with the election of openly anti-American Democrat Socialists and the immediate folding by the gradualists, what we call the Progmericans, afterwards.
On July 4, 2026, New York’s Democrat Socialist Mayor, Zohran Mamdani, declared that the greatest thing about America is that it changes, which is just a veiled way of saying, “what I like about America is its soft underbelly, where anti-Americanists like me can easily invade the American host and exapt it to a progressive state.”
To put it another way, “What I like about America is how easy it is to murder it.”
This quarter, the progressive state has openly asserted itself like it never has before. We see a shift from the Progmerican to the Progressive State. The language of America is not only gone, it’s openly mocked.
The Progmerican uses American words while pushing progressive principles. They are patient in that they do not push too hard against American principles while they lack the power to do so.
They now either think they have the power to be openly opposed to America, or they think this is the last chance they have before the backlash coalesces around a force that is more coherent and consistent than Trump’s force has been.
These past three months alone present more than enough evidence to at least suggest that the progressive state has arrived.
When they say they want our way of life dead, we should take them very seriously. They mean it, and the “killings” have already begun.
1. THE SPIRIT OF THE DEMOCRAT – From their top leadership to their rank and file, the Democrat Party is filled with people who don’t want to be here. They don’t remember America’s military dead on Memorial Day, they use it to accuse the U.S. of war crimes in Iran.
When the enemy wins, Democrat Senators celebrate. When U.S. munitions are running low, Democrat Senators not only share the news, they fear monger it. Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) told the progressive state press, “… the numbers are, I think it’s fair to say it’s shocking how deep we have gone into these magazines, because this president got our country into this without a strategic goal, without a plan, without a timeline, and because of that, we’ve expended a lot of munitions, and that means the American people are less safe…”
42% of Rank and file Democrats believe the Butler, PA assassination attempt was staged. Democrat celebrities openly say they’re ashamed to be American, ashamed of the American flag merely because Donald Trump is President.
Progressive State Media, even its entertainment division, is cheering on the Iranian regime while calling the President a “lunatic.”
Taken in and of themselves, every one of these facts can be dismissed, but, as a whole, it paints a picture of a people whose enemy is the American people, and whose friends are anyone regularly chanting “death to America.”
PROGRESSIVE STATE LAWS – After a significant number of openly “Democratic Socialist” candidates won their primaries, the Socialist wing of the Democrat Party is attempting to assert itself as the hegemon of the party.
With Bernie Sanders leading the way, they’re now listing demands for Democrats, all of which reflect anti-American values existentially opposed to individual liberty and self-stewardship.
Their Rule of Law is not OUR Rule of Law.
Outside of the law, progressives have formed associations, such as the Federal Judiciary Center, which has become the non-elected governance structure for America’s judicial system in determining how the judiciary addresses scientific issues.
The “non-partisan” group is comprised of anti-American progressives who hold that “man-made climate change” necessitates the granular control of human action by a select-few experts. This governance model is murder to the American republic, which presumes self-stewardship is the limit on state power, even in the face of “climate change.”
While the GOP’s top Senator, John Thune, continues to pretend he’s not using the nuclear option (dissolving the filibuster) to pass Voter ID and Election mass mailer prevention laws to preserve order, the Democrats are promising to stack courts AND eliminate the filibuster the moment they win back the Senate.
The Youth of the Democratic Party finds the right to free speech troubling, and even in the face of the Charlie Kirk assassination, they protest laws protecting free speech on college campuses. They are not Americans, they are progressives.
Their country is not our country. Their values are not our values.
Democrats have also promised to not only arrest Trump supporters, but they will also arrest private citizens that worked with Trump and corporate leaders that followed Trump’s orders. This is no idle threat, for this is exactly what they did under Biden (at least the former part).
Their “Agenda 2029” platform reads like a communist revolutionary handbook, with speech, belief, and self-defense, being their first targets in the first few months of their progressive state regime.
Rather than ratcheting down the rhetoric in the wake of the wave of progressive violence these past three months alone, progressive leaders like AOC are calling for MORE direct violence against Americans. Their continued freedom is encouragement to the violent among us who seek to mimic their actions.
FOREIGN COLLUSION – While the Democrats created a false foreign collusion story to attempt to illegally remove President Trump first from running, then from office, evidence of their own foreign collusion is piling up.
ActBlue may be one of the main foreign aid money laundering operations for the Democrats. The refusal of its leaders to testify before congress without invoking the fifth gives credence (though not legal credence) to those claims.
Democrat members of congress have been going to Cuba not to meet with resistance leaders to the Communist regime, but to meet with and cooperate with Cuban officials from the brutal authoritarian regime. They’re doing this on our dime, by the way.
Rep. Carlos Giménez (R-FL) illustrated this point. He wrote, “Here is the difference between Democrats and Republicans: While Democrats go to Cuba to meet leaders of a Communist, anti-democratic dictatorship, Republicans support the people in their quest for a free and democratic Cuba.”
On his way out, former Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban claimed that billions of Ukraine aid dollars were filtered back to the Democrats in the last election. It’s an unsubstantiated claim at this point, but one not without some credible evidence (just no smoking gun).
THREE MONTHS OF VIOLENCE – Here are just a few of the events these past three months that either show progressive violence or the consequence of it:
Progressives who attacked an Ice Facility are sentenced to over 150 years in prison.
A Progressive activist barged into the White House Press Dinner in an attempt to murder President Trump and his administration.
Progressives plotted a mass killing on the night of the UFC Event on the White House lawn.
Progressives conducted a complex, sustained operation attacking an ICE facility in New Jersey.
An elderly man who festooned his house in Pro-Trump regalia was murdered by his progressive neighbor for the crime of being an American on American soil.
Progressives attempted to swat SCOTUS Judge Amy Coney Barret’s private home.
In order to raise funds for these operations, outside the foreign donations and Democrat Party money, progressives are using striptease shows, which reflects the debased spirit the Democrat Party now represents.

2026 ELECTIONS – This quarter we saw the rise of the Democratic Socialists in Democratic Primaries, while the establishment GOP saw big losses to Trump-chosen candidates.
Perhaps the biggest loser was Thomas Massie, a self-professed libertarian, who voted against the Trump agenda at key points and continues to reject U.S. support of Israel.
A mass mailer election in LA saw a GOP candidate lose in the slow count, illustrating the power of unaccountable election practices to the progressives. The progressives continue to fight for mass mailer elections, while fighting against Voter ID and Same-Day Election laws.
The biggest win for MAGA was the defeat of Texas Senator John Cornyn by Texas AG Ken Paxton. The progressives are running James Talarico against him. Talarico has openly declared God is non-binary, and that as a Christian he hates Christianity.
It should be noted that Graham Platner, the Democrat’s Maine Senate candidate, has just dropped out of the race after allegations of rape surfaced. The move might ultimately help the Democrats.
SCOTUS protected the progressives by effectively legitimizing the unconstitutional practice of unaccountable mass mailer elections, allowing votes to be counted after election day, the same slow count technique allegedly used in LA to freeze the Republican out of the final running.
The Democrats have failed to pull away in the generic ballot, but the Republicans are still behind.
In the Gerrymandering Wars, the Republicans have come out on top, but not by as much as they could have thanks to state governments controlled by them. SCOTUS delivered the major win, striking down race-based voting districts.
TRUMP DEPORTATIONS – All that has happened in President Trump’s efforts to remove the Biden “immigrant” anti-American army is paled by the SCOTUS Ruling on Birthright citizenship. This is the bellwether of the Trump Deportation story.
In 2024, 64% of murders of U.S. citizens were by illegal aliens, according to the Department of Homeland Security. This figure is just now being released. It tells at least one reason why Americans should be concerned about the presence of a mass of undocumented and unconnected human beings on our lands.
The incentive to break into our country illegally continues thanks to SCOTUS, which upheld instant citizenship for the born in a 5-4 ruling, upholding the existing “Birthright Citizenship” standard. That standard interprets the fourteenth amendment as applying to all humans and not just former slaves, despite the authors of the amendment specifically expressing that standard.
This ruling alone could warrant a future Deep Dive. It’s already a contender for the next Domestic Deep Dive.
These “Anchor Babies” account for almost 10% of “U.S.” births.
Elle Purnell of The Federalist wrote a summation of the birthright ruling:
“During oral arguments in Trump v. Barbara, the birthplace citizenship case handed down from the Supreme Court on Tuesday, Solicitor General John Sauer observed that ‘we’re in a new world now … where 8 billion people are one plane ride away from having a child who’s a U.S. citizen.’
“Four justices would go on to agree with this originalist argument, that the framers of the 14th Amendment did not understand their words to confer citizenship on the offspring of illegal aliens and birth tourists. But Chief Justice John Roberts dismissed Sauer’s point, retorting that while it may be ‘a new world, it’s the same Constitution.’
“He clearly thought it was a clever turn of phrase, an impression no doubt bolstered by the fawning media coverage of his remark. Released on Tuesday, his majority opinion takes the same approach to a foundational constitutional question as his cheap potshot at Sauer: he shows little interest in compelling originalist arguments, instead issuing shallow and misapplied but noble-sounding platitudes.
“Joined by Justices Amy Coney Barrett, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson, Roberts declared that, if a pregnant foreigner travels to the United States — legally or illegally, for 20 years or 20 minutes — to give birth, the 14th Amendment demands that act be rewarded by granting the child the full privileges of American citizenship.
“At the center of his argument is an aspirational concept of ‘allegiance’ he grounds in the practices of feudal Europe. Because British subjects ‘born within the dominions and under the protection of a particular sovereign’ owed a ‘tie or duty’ to that sovereign, Roberts reasons, the children of foreigners born on American soil must be bound by the same allegiance and thus demanded citizenship.”
This is pure sophistry and de facto evidence Roberts is not a justice, he’s a progressive insurrectionist. This ruling almost guarantees Roberts and Barrett, the stealth progressives who made it through the vetting process, will find similar “logic” to deny our basic right to bear arms in the upcoming case on AR-15 bans.
In this case, Roberts and Barrett rejected the plain words of the architects of the amendment in favor of standards wholly outside the constitution altogether, Medieval Standards. The ruling itself is unconstitutional, as it chose foreign laws from before America was born over the words of the men who wrote the amendment in the first place.
This is desperation by the “stealth progressives,” who’ve now had to destroy their credibility as reasoning Americans in a way that throws the whole definition of “American” into the hell of annihilating fire.
The American is dead thanks to the progressive state court.
JUDGEFARE – This entry from our Bellwether Report encapsulates the recent slate of Judgefare rulings against President Trump’s agenda. We wrote, “Several rulings by progressive judges have stopped or hindered numerous Trump policies. These include orders that affect Mail-in voting, Federal building protections from terrorist Antifa attackers, voter roll validations, voter ID, illegal arrests at courthouses, and even subpoenas against Minnesota Democrats suspected of committing fraud.”
SCOTUS Rulings that upheld Mass Mailer Elections and Birthright Citizenship for all were the most damaging blows to America by Progressive State Judges not only this quarter, but this year, so far.
Progressive judges are becoming increasingly bold, relying often entirely on principles rather than law, vague principles like equality and even “social justice,” none of which are in the Constitution. Equal rights are not “equality,” that’s a progressive state value, not an American one.
PROGRESSIVE MEDIA – The new tag we will use to track this ongoing story is Progressive State Press, for we believe not only that the progressive state has now nakedly asserted itself, the state press has become overt in its efforts to incite violence and insurrection against Americans.
Here are some key bellwethers that illustrate that boldness:
4.1. Joy Behar on ABC’s “The View” tells thousands of viewers that emergency services are examples of Democratic Socialism. This is an attempt to not only normalize Democratic Socialism, but it’s also an attempt to make it seem benevolent. This was not thought up by Joy Behar. This was designed by agit prop professionals working for ABC, who works for the party, the Progressive State Party.
4.2. After a well-trained and well-funded Antifa Task Force attempted to assassinate ICE officers, the Washington Post downplayed the event, calling it a “protest,” even though it was clearly a military operation designed to murder American law enforcement agents.
The Progressive State Press also continues to refer to the Antifa members convicted of the assault on the ICE facility as “alleged Antifa members,” even though the evidence is clear and overwhelming they belonged to an organization self-identified as Antifa.
This continued effort by the Progressive State Press to normalize violence against ICE agents, while they continue to call them Nazis and Gestapo agents, is clearly military information warfare aimed at the American republic, and nothing more.
This is not opinion; this is deliberate psychological warfare in support of the progressive state street fighters and in opposition to the American people.
4.3. CBS News has allowed the lie that Karmelo Anthony was convicted by an all-white jury to continue to be said by guests, unchallenged. The efforts by the Progressive State Press to vilify the victim, Austin Metcalf, and protect the cold-blooded, and now convicted, murderer, demonstrate their boldness or their desperation.
Surely in 2010 no major U.S. news outlet would openly push agit prop to cover up the murder of a boy because the boy was white and the narrative of a black boy murdering a white boy undercuts the party narrative that the white boy is the devil.
This is the same CBS News Bari Weiss was going to rehabilitate from its progressive state bias. She has clearly failed, or maybe she was never meant to succeed.
4.4. While the networks call Americans Nazis and White Supremacists on a near daily basis, they’re also pushing lies intended to get more ICE agents killed, like running reports claiming people are in danger for being sent back to their home countries.
4.5. ABC News recently ran an article with this headline, “US has deported thousands of Cubans and Venezuelans to danger in Mexico, Human Rights Watch says.”
Here they use the social virtue branch of their war machine, the social cause organization, to validate an unsubstantiated claim without being liable for the claim itself.
But why run such a story amid massive assaults on ICE agents by well-paid terrorists if you’re an American news outlet? The answer is you don’t, unless you’ve seriously vetted such incendiary claims. You run it when you are part of the progressive state war machine in the midst of a revolution, one aimed at ending the progressive’s pretense to being American at all.
You run it in a way in which you both remove your personal guilt in making the incendiary claim and in a way that gives credence to the claim just by the fact that “Human Rights Watch” said so. You don’t know that this is a progressive revolutionary activist group disguising themselves as impartial analysts.
4.6. HBO allowed John Oliver to tell his audience that Samuel Alito is “Segregation Sammy” because he ruled against racial segregation of voting districts. He said that with a straight face, knowing full well that “segregation” means “racist” to the progressive street fighter and racist means “viable military target.”
At this point, every term such as “racist,” “Nazi,” “white supremacist,” homophobe,”, etc., should be seen as laser painting a target their Antifa armies are expected to eliminate. HBO knows this full well. As a progressive state institution, this was a natural choice. As an American one, it was high treason given the context of the times.
4.7. One of the most incendiary moments happened in April, when MS NOW featured a segment where the hosts put forth the unsubstantiated claim that Trump demands people in his inner circle address him as God.
This is intended to create terror among their progressive state citizens, terror enough to inspire them to take up arms against the dangerous Trump cult.
Surely if he is demanding to be called God, the progressive state press has been right about him the whole time. He IS a dictator. He IS a Nazi. He DOES want to enslave the blacks and kill all the non-whites (a lie told on The View on more than one occasion).

This quarter, the progressive state press went completely rogue. The mad push to win the House by any means necessary, including by spreading lies that get Americans murdered, is on, and the progressive state press is all in, no matter the cost to you… and me… and ALL our fellow Americans.

IRAN WAR – If the Pentagon is right, the Iran War has cost Americans $80 billion.
While we now know the tentative Peace Deal with Iran has not held, by the end of this quarter, the deal had been set and was progressing as smoothly as one could imagine. This quarter saw the continuation of a war that was supposed to be over in two weeks.
At the end of March, the Pentagon claimed it was planning a “Massive Final Blow” to end the war. The blow came, but the end did not.
Before this quarter ended, Rubio would declare offensive operations were over. Numerous ceasefire agreements and breaking of ceasefires have only continued. The Strait of Hormuz has been partially opened, then closed, with ships getting attacked even after Iran declared the strait open.
Internally, Iran shows signs of strain, but the regime is still in power.
Domestically, initial support of the war has dropped as it continues to drag on, and now, the regime change many Americans initially wanted, by the end of this quarter, looked increasingly not likely.
Congress tried numerous times to stop the Iran War, failing every time but once. Yet even that effort was reversed when two GOP Senators switched their votes.
The Progressive State Press is constantly reading the worst interpretation when it comes to Trump and the Americans, while giving the most charitable interpretations of her enemies, and this includes Iran. The Progressive State Press reads exactly like Soviet Propaganda from the 1980s.
Internationally, the U.S. received support mostly from Gulf State nations, with Russia and China blocking the U.S. at the UN, and European allies like Britain, France, and Germany refusing to support the war.
Israel was not part of the peace process, but Iran’s demand Israel leave Lebanon was doubtful. Based on what we know now, that seems even less likely.
Last week, Paul Gordon Collier reported on the Peace Deal in our Deep Dive, Help is Not on the way. Collier concluded that had the deal gone through as planned, the real winner was China, not America. If you agreed with that assessment, the fact that the deal appears dead may just encourage you, for regime change is now back on the menu.
An Easter exchange in which President Trump both shared a meme that made him look like Jesus and another one threatening to end the Iranian civilization has largely receded to the background.
Should the need arise, we have no doubt this moment will be revisited heavy and often if and when the progressive state press finds usefulness in it.
UKRAINE WAR – A failed Easter Truce began our quarter in the Ukraine War. Drones had already become a central part of the war, but during this quarter, the wave of drone attacks on competing capital cities has intensified to increasingly larger-scale operations.
Ukraine gained ground this quarter for the first time in 3 years. Their relentless drone attacks on Crimea have created havoc on the ground for Russian residents and Russian military operations.
Recent efforts for peace talks were rebutted by Putin, even amid claims Russians have lost half a million men on the battlefield and counting. Meanwhile at home, there are gas shortages and growing unrest.
Ukraine also won in Hungary, where “pro-Russian” Prime Minister Viktor Orban lost his election to a pro-EU candidate, Péter Magyar, though he might not be quite as pro-EU as the EU would hope he would be.
The war’s assassination game has only intensified, with assassins and terrorists being sent in by both sides to wreak havoc on the other. Recently, a Ukrainian oligarch escaped a bomb attack. A senior Russian Colonel was not so lucky. He was killed in a car bombing outside Moscow.
The dangers of the war extending to other nations still exists, as Romania was recently struck by errant Russian drones and Belarus received war threats from Ukraine.
CHINA WATCH – A May Beijing Summit produced little of substance, outside of more clear examples of the progressive state press pushing a pro-Xi narrative over Trump. In their narrative, Trump was humiliated on the world stage.
President Trump’s bluster also offered billions of Chinese investment dollars, but the question not asked was why we would want to let a CCP-led country become even more entangled with America than it already is.
The U.S. is allegedly paying a CCP-connected firm to help identify potential stealth risks from embedding Chinese technology into the U.S. military. This claim is coming from the Washington Times; they cite anonymous military tech analysts within the industry.
China helped the U.S. keep the oil prices down during the Iran War by lowering its own “demand.” Outside of that, they’ve taken every opportunity to hinder U.S. efforts in the war and used the war to further call on a new world order. Spain is its European surrogate seeking to make that new world order a Chinese-led one. Trump’s recent call to cut off all trade from Spain, we believe, is in part due to this fact.
In AI, China is catching up with America, and in some ways passing America. China now has the world’s fastest super-computer. They also just created the world’s first underground data center that is powered by wind turbines.
They’re now launching a $295 billion AI build-out plan. Their top AI experts must get explicit approval before travelling internationally. China has also blocked all U.S. funding for AI startups.
In Canada, China is gaining more influence, this time through their Mounties. Canada’s national police force has a secret security agreement with the CCP. That came out inadvertently during a trial. The Mounties have not denied the claim.
China recently scored a major soft power victory in the Philippines, who just handed over their national power grid to a Chinese-led consortium.
In May, China added more drug precursors to its U.S. export ban list. The move will affect the U.S. short term but will also force the U.S. to end its dependence on its geopolitical rival.
In April, China sold off $623 billion of U.S. debt, while also increasing its efforts to replace U.S. dollars with gold.
At home, Xi is hardly secure, with multiple rounds of purge of Generals and business leaders continuing. Xi is more successful in America than he is at home, thanks in large part to America’s political and business leaders, all of whom chose Chinese gold over American freedom.
UK WATCH – Britain has become the leading edge of the Progressive experiment, with Labour representing the London branch of the global empire the project ultimately assumes. But that leading edge is showing signs of extreme stress, and the progressive experiment is becoming increasingly harder to justify.
The great experiment to end any sense of ethno-nationhood (not nationalism, for the word has rightful negative connotations, in our estimation) has seen its best hope rise, and perhaps fall, in Britian.
A major local election in May proved disastrous for PM Starmer’s Labour Party. Labour lost 1,496 local seats, while the conservatives lost 564 seats. The big winners were Reform UK, which gained 1,451 seats, and Restore Britain, which won the only 10 seats they were running for by margins more than double the second-place finisher.
Restore Britain’s rise is the story of Britian this quarter, though that rise is tied to the Henry Novack story. Henry Novak was an 18-year-old native English boy who was brutally murdered by a Sikh, who was a second-generation immigrant.
The police let the boy die after he had been stabbed because the Sikh called him racist. The boy died handcuffed while the police taunted him.
This story is becoming the story of the immigrant, or even the foreigner, who not only does not assimilate, but they also attack. Their attacks are emboldened by police who are most likely to assume the white man is guilty in any incident involving them and someone not white.
In Belfast, the people sent a violent message after an immigrant attempted to behead an Irishman in broad daylight. Fear of spreading Belfasts is 10 Downing Street’s new obsession.
The two-tiered Keir mantra stuck, and it may have contributed to his now-official resignation. The election of Andy Burnham in the special Makerfield election sealed Starmer’s fate. In that election, Burnham was able to win a convincing majority of the vote. That election also saw Restore Britian finish third with almost 7% of the vote.
Reinforcing the malignant foreigner narrative and the two-tiered narrative is the release of Restore Britian’s Rape Gang Report. Even after the report’s release, a Rape Crisis Organization sent the message that noticing Muslim rape gangs is racist.
Restore Britian’s Rupert Lowe delivered the Rape Gang Inquiry report he promised. The report claims 250,000 mostly white British girls were systematically raped, tortured, and trafficked by mostly Pakistani gangs (95%). These “gangs” involved whole families. Lowe summarized the report, claiming, “The mass rape of vulnerable working class white girls by gangs of primarily Pakistani Muslim men is pure unfettered evil.”
In response to this, Progressive UK is moving to censor “misinformation” about migrant crime. Starmer’s resignation has paused the state’s efforts to clamp down on the free flow of information by regulating the internet the way the CCP does, with mandatory user ids affirmed through facial recognition software with each log-on.
The vehicle of power for this is the Online Child Safety Act, which justifies state control of access of the internet because it protects children from gaining access to the internet.
While Starmer waits for a new leader to be chosen by his party, which will be Andy Burnham, the bill is on hold. Burnham has already made it clear he will go forward with the new censorship regime when he takes power.
They’re not waiting to move to pressure YouTube to shadow ban content creators in favor of state-approved media. Efforts by Progressive UK to do this could produce unintended consequences, possibly from Trump’s America.
They also fully intend on blocking X from their citizens. Labour’s legal chief bans his office from using X because it’s “racist and misogynist.”
