Iran just appointed a national joke to lead security– www.washingtonexaminer.com
News Source
EXCERPT:
In Tehran, appointments to the Supreme National Security Council are rarely bureaucratic reshuffles. They are signals — about fear, factional power, and the threats the regime believes it is about to face. The return of Mohsen Rezaei, one of the oldest surviving figures of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, is therefore more than another personnel change. It is a window into the security mentality of a regime increasingly preoccupied with Israel, its battered regional network, and ultimately its own survival.
The purpose of the Supreme National Security Council is to secure the national interests and safeguard the mullahs’ regime and Khomeini’s upheaval, which, in the wintry, springless season of 1979, brought the Islamic caliphate — or Shiite clerical dictatorship — to power under the name of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The council makes decisions on the regime’s foreign policy and its defense and security affairs. Its members are senior political, military, and intelligence officials of the regime.
The council is chaired by Masoud Pezeshkian — the demagogic and rabble-rousing representative of the so-called reformist mafia — who still prides himself on serving the regime’s supreme leader. The Supreme National Security Council is one of the tools in the supreme leader’s hands.

The McKinney City Council has approved the site plan for a new mosque, despite concerns from residents about the major human rights abuses committed under Sharia law around the world.
In the name of inclusivity, the left have condoned the very ideology that causes some of the worst human rights abuses known to man. This is why the City Council did not care less about this man’s warning about the dangers committed under Sharia law.
It could not have been said better than that.
“This is a bad idea, and you are going to regret not listening to people like us who have lived under Sharia law,” he said. Unfortunately, though, the project has been approved. And we can only hope this man’s warning is wrong.
According to CBS:
All seven council members voted unanimously to approve the site plan, telling residents the vote was procedural — simply on whether or not the plan fits the city’s ordinances.
The proposed project would sit near Virginia Parkway and Crutcher Crossing. The McKinney Islamic Association says it wants to build a dedicated prayer area, gym, classrooms, cafeteria and community space. The group wants to develop the property to accommodate its growing community.

EXCERPT:
KENOSHA, Wisconsin — The progressive movement’s midterms march has arrived in Wisconsin, where a democratic socialist is forcing establishment Democrats to mount an all-out, last-ditch effort to stop her.
State Rep. Francesca Hong is the front-runner to become the Democratic gubernatorial nominee, fueled by a populist campaign tapping into voters’ cost of living concerns. David Crowley, the Milwaukee County Executive backed by outgoing Gov. Tony Evers, has emerged as the top candidate trying to cut off Hong’s bid.
Ahead of Tuesday’s primary, electability was top of mind for voters and both candidates as they raced to prove they could build the widest, strongest coalition against presumptive Republican nominee Tom Tiffany.
Crowley and Evers have been barnstorming the swing state over the past week, warning a vote for Hong risks losing the governor’s mansion in November to Tiffany, a hard-right member of the House Freedom Caucus backed by President Donald Trump.

Polish data center plans to send its waste heat to the neighbors – Computerworld– www.computerworld.com
News Source
EXCERPT:
As Europe swelters in a heatwave, residents probably don’t want to hear about ways to make their homes even hotter, but that’s what Polish property developer Citylink is talking about, with plans to dump waste heat from a new data center in Wrocław into the municipal district heating network.
Citylink is designing the data center so that heat from servers can be recovered instead of being dissipated via cooling systems — and as the data center grows, any increase in computing power will mean more energy available for recovery.
The collaboration with local power company Kogeneracja will provide “valuable experience in designing and operating modern data centers, with a particular focus on infrastructure dedicated to AI nodes,” said Michał Starybrat, development director at Citylink.

The Supreme Court granted Donald Trump criminal immunity for official acts as president, but that immunity does not extend to everyone involved in potentially corrupt acts with Trump.
Democrats have been laying the groundwork for months for these investigations by looking into companies that are getting government contracts and those who engage in business deals with the president.

Rep. Jamie Raskin, the Ranking Member on the House Judiciary Committee, said on MS NOW’s The Weekend:
So we’re going to continue to assert the rule of law at every turn with our allies in. We’ve been trying to gather as much information as possible about all of the scams, all of the corrupt rip-offs.
We’ll be able to pursue those investigations with the power of the subpoena.
Raskin said that House Democrats are not afraid to impeach Trump again, but will only be done if it helps them make progress for the country:
