02a U.S. Politics – Conservative

A recent Axios’ headline suggests that crime fell at historic levels in major U.S. cities “despite” Trump’s “crackdown,” not because of it. The headline was designed to protect the criminal press’ narrative that ICE agents are unconstitutional paramilitary Nazis destroying the nation.

To protect that libelous narrative, Americans are being gaslit to believe that somehow ICE agents are still sources of violence, not preventers of it. The readers reacted so overwhelmingly that even the criminal terror outfit Axios had to retreat from its mask-off moment. This is our first documented incident of the Insurrectionist press being brought to heel by its own readership.

News Outlet Forced To Delete Anti-Trump Headline After Furious Backlash –  trendingpoliticsnews.com

Axios was forced to delete a social media post after readers erupted over a headline suggesting violent crime fell “despite” President Trump’s crackdown rhetoric, even as new data showed crime dropping sharply across major U.S. cities.

The outlet’s framing triggered swift backlash online, where critics accused Axios of downplaying the possibility that tougher enforcement and rhetoric may have contributed to the decline.

President Trump has spent months hammering Democratic-led cities over lawlessness while defending aggressive federal intervention.

“Chicago is a hellhole right now. Baltimore is a hellhole right now,” Trump said in September. “We have the right to [call in the National Guard] because I have an obligation to protect this country.”

Fired Washington Post Staffers Outraged When Not Allowed to Enter Building – breitbart.com

If you want to know why the corporate media has lost all touch with common sense and reality, take a good look at the assholes hired by the Washington Post.

A national newspaper actually hired (and then fired) people who literally believe they are entitled to work at the Washington Post. The Washington Post hired people who literally believe they have a right to work at the Washington Post. The Washington Post hires people who literally believe it is illegal to fire them.

Watch this. It looks like something out of a comedy skit:

… For instance, take Zoraya ter Beek, a 29-year-old, who, in 2024, ended her life via doctor-assisted suicide in the Netherlands. According to The Guardian, she did so on the “grounds of unbearable mental suffering.”

Such deaths are permitted if a patient has “unbearable suffering with no prospect of improvement.” Another such individual is Aurelia Brouwers, a young woman who died in a starkly similar way.

“I’m 29 years old and I’ve chosen to be voluntarily euthanized,” Brouwers said before her death. “I’ve chosen this because I have a lot of mental health issues. I suffer unbearably and hopelessly. Every breath I take is torture.”

These cases are heartbreaking and prove that the slippery-slope alarms sounding for far too long should have been heeded, but, tragically, they have been ignored. And, unfortunately, the chaos doesn’t come from only these mental health loopholes.

The DNC Insurrectionist State of Virginia is now working on a bill, SB 624, that would criminalize dissent of Sharia, Islamic Law, equating resistance to Sharia as a Hate Crime. Resistant to Islam in general would be deemed “Islamophobia,” which the bill would make a hate crime punishable by imprisonment, and death, should the offender resist arrest.

It is crystal clear that such a bill is an overt violation of our First Amendment rights, so much so that the introduction of the bill should IMMEDIATELY trigger a declaration of a state of insurrection in Virginia by President Trump and a return of Virginia to the American people and away from the Insurrectionist Party now in control and the many insurrectionists that voted for this revolution against the republic.

Virginia’s SB 624: How an “Islamophobia” Bill Could Chill Free Speech – standingforfreedom.com

Virginia State Sen. Saddam Azlan Salim, D, has introduced SB 624, legislation that would enshrine “Islamophobia” into Virginia’s hate crime statutes. The bill defines Islamophobia as “malicious prejudice or hatred directed toward Islam or Muslims” — applying even when the victim is not actually Muslim.SB 624 amends Virginia’s assault and battery laws by creating a statutory definition of “Islamophobia” and mandating that the Virginia Department of State Police incorporate this definition into the state’s hate crime reporting system.

But here’s what makes this particularly troubling: Virginia already has comprehensive hate crime legislation. During Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s term, the legislature passed SB 7, which enhances assault charges for anyone who “intentionally selects the person against whom a simple assault is committed because of his race, religious conviction, gender, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, or ethnic or national origin.”

That bill already covers Muslims.

Witnesses testifying at a House Ways and Means Committee hearing are claiming that foreign nationals are illegally sending millions (if not billions) of dollars to bankroll DNC insurrectionist organizations.

Capital Research Center Scott Walker said of the testimonies, “It’s refreshing to have a hearing where all witnesses share strong agreement on a central point, namely, foreign money should be kept out of American politics. A lot of these [foreign funding] problems involve America’s nonprofit sector, which is traditionally a glory and a strength of this exceptional country. But foreigners abuse this sector — especially tools like fiscal sponsorship and donor-advised funds, which aren’t inherently bad things — in order to hide their influence ops.”

Foreign nationals are quietly bankrolling leftist causes throughout the United States, several witnesses told House lawmakers on Tuesday.

The U.S. created 130,000 jobs in January 2026 according to the Department of Labor, which is twice the number of jobs predicted to be created. The unemployment rate has also fallen to 4.3%. After California Governor Gavin Newsome (D) signed an illegal law forcing ICE agents to be unmasked to make it easier for his army of antifa revolutionaries to hunt and murder them, he was immediately shut down by Clinton-appointed U.S. District Judge Christian Snyder. The so-called “No Secret Police” act aims to help the DNC’s secret and street police, ANTIFA, enforce their unconstitutional laws. The judge says the law unfairly discriminates against Federal officers.

The judge did not address the underlying insurrectionist spirit behind the violent law. Attorney General Pam Bondi said of the ruling, “Law enforcement officers risk their lives every day to keep Americans safe, and they do not deserve to be doxed or harassed simply for carrying out their duties. California’s anti-law enforcement policies discriminate against the federal government and are designed to create risk for our agents.”

A federal judge in Los Angeles has issued a preliminary injunction against a California law that sought to prohibit federal immigration agents from wearing masks during enforcement operations.

U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder, who was appointed by President Bill Clinton, ruled Monday that the “No Secret Police Act” (Senate Bill 627) violates the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause by discriminating against federal officers.

The law, which was signed by California Governor Gavin Newsom this past September, banned most law enforcement officers from covering their faces while on duty, with the stated aim of preventing “secret police” tactics and promoting accountability. It initially exempted state and local officers and applied primarily to federal agencies like U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

The criminal use of the Department of Homeland Security’s parole authority to broadly allow mass undocumented invasion by foreigners has been struck down by Federal Judge T. Kent Wetherell. The judge oversaw a settlement with the State of Florida that bans the Biden loophole from being allowed to be used again by any administration within 15 years of the signing of the agreement.

The Trump administration has secured a federal consent decree declaring one of former President Joe Biden’s mass-migrant parole programs unlawful and preventing any future administration from reviving a similar system for the next 15 years.

The settlement, approved by Judge T. Kent Wetherell in federal court in northern Florida, emerged from a lawsuit filed by the state of Florida in 2023 and places strict limits on how the federal government may use the Department of Homeland Security’s parole authority under Section 1182(d)(5).

Under the agreement, the federal government cannot use parole authority to create categorical processing pathways at the border designed to ease detention capacity or improve operational efficiency.

Billionaire Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, are the latest California billionaires to buy a home in South Florida.

California is experiencing a historic capital flight, with billions of dollars and some of its most powerful economic actors heading for the exits. Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan are the latest to decamp to South Florida, joining Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and Peter Thiel—moves widely attributed to California’s proposed billionaire wealth tax and a hostile regulatory climate. The fallout has been immediate: California’s billionaire taxable base has reportedly collapsed from over $2 trillion to well under $1 trillion in a matter of weeks. At the same time, major employers are fleeing outright—Valero Energy is paying a staggering $1.1 billion just to exit the state, shutting its Benicia refinery and taking jobs, tax revenue, and nearly 9% of in-state gasoline capacity with it, as Phillips 66 follows suit. With California already leading the nation in outmigration per the U-Haul Growth Index, economists now warn of surging gas prices, supply instability, and a shrinking tax base—costs that will ultimately be shifted onto the middle class as the state’s wealthy individuals and industries vote with their feet.

The Meta CEO’s purchase makes him the latest—and arguably the biggest—name in a wave of Silicon Valley billionaires putting down roots in South Florida. Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have both made purchases in the Miami area in recent weeks. Page picked up multiple properties in Coconut Grove for roughly $188 million, while Brin is reportedly in talks for a $50 million home on Biscayne Bay. Venture capitalist Peter Thiel opened a Miami office for his investment firm on New Year’s Eve, making his Florida move official. (Times of India)

But Swalwell, a candidate for governor, ensnared himself in one of the biggest lies the left has told about the Department of Homeland Security agents sworn to enforce the nation’s immigration laws: The fractured fairy tale that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers “grabbed” a 5-year-old boy and used him as “bait, forcing him to knock on his own door so they could arrest his father.” It’s a load of crap, but that didn’t stop Swalwell from repeating it as his lackey held a blown-up photo of the kid behind him. A seventh victim died while being transported to a hospital. Investigators also discovered two additional bodies at a nearby residence believed to be connected to the attack, reportedly the suspect’s mother and younger brother.

This year may have barely begun, but it has already witnessed many threats to President Donald Trump and members of his administration.

Trump survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024, and he faced another serious assassination attempt in West Palm Beach, Florida, two months later. The first assassin died in the attempt, and a judge sentenced Ryan Routh, 59, to life in prison plus 84 months last week for the second attempt.

Two events last year highlighted the rise of political violence on the left: the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and the comments of Democrat Jay Jones, who now serves as Virginia’s attorney general, wishing for the death of his political opponents. (Jones apologized for the comments after National Review exposed them.)

However, a police alert earlier in the day stated that the suspect was a “female in a dress with brown hair.”

A Hong Kong Court sentenced pro-democracy, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) critic media mogul Jimmy Lai, 78, to 20 years in prison.

Six of Lai’s former employees received sentences of up to 10 years.

Lai’s daughter Claire described it as a “heartbreakingly cruel sentence,” claiming, “he will die a martyr behind bars.”

The judges determined that Lai deserved the harsh sentence “because he was ‘no doubt the mastermind’ of the conspiracies he was convicted of orchestrating.”

They cut the sentence down by 25 months due to Lai’s “health issues, which include diabetes and hypertension.”

In December, The Associated Press reported that “[T]hree government-vetted judges found Lai, 78, guilty of conspiring with others to collude with foreign forces to endanger national security and conspiracy to publish seditious articles.”

“With about nine months until the midterms, the president is facing growing concerns on the economy,” noted the Hill. “More than half of respondents to the poll said the White House should primarily focus on lowering prices, including nearly 6 in 10 independents.”

Inflation under Trump did, however, decline from three percent in January 2025 to 2.7 percent in December 2025, with the price of being “up 3.1 percent year-over-year in December, after being up 2.5 percent in January 2025.”

Soviet Canada is looking to pass a bill that will essentially equip leftists to get their family members arrested if they don’t agree with their anti-human ideology. Bill C-16, the “Protecting Victims Act” would create a new classification of “crime” called “coercive or controlling conduct.” The bill appears to be intended to force Canadians to comply with the party’s orthodoxy at home or else be turned into the police by your own family members. The bill should be renamed the Secret Police bill.

Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis warned his constituents of the dark bill, telling them, “Do you think the government should criminalize everyday interactions in your home with your family? If not, you should read Bill C-16. The bill creates new offences… which are deeply concerning for normal, loving family interactions, based on a ‘pattern of coercive or controlling conduct,’ even when no violence, threats, or illegal acts occur. It criminalizes a pattern of otherwise lawful and often common behaviour that may later be perceived as threatening by an intimate partner.”
