Veterans who require costly treatments are now being pushed into being euthanized under the government’s “Medical Assistance in Dying” (MAiD) program.

The news comes as the United Kingdom edges closer to passing its own euthanasia laws.

Kelsi Sheren, a Canadian Armed Forces veteran injured in Afghanistan, is calling on UK citizens to take a stand against the legalization of euthanasia.

Sheren is highlighting cases where disabled veterans have been encouraged to consider assisted suicide.

She served as an artillery gunner in the Canadian Armed Forces.

“During my deployment, I was sent outside the wire to work alongside the British military in OP TORA ARWA,” Sheren revealed.

“That mission changed my life.

“I was injured and medically released in 2011 with PTSD, hearing loss, and a traumatic brain injury (TBI).

“Today, I live as a 100% disabled combat veteran.”

The Federalist has uncovered documents showing how the federal government used “social engineering” programs to develop networks of fraudulent social media accounts capable of violating Americans’ rights to speech and privacy online — and, potentially, psychological warfare.

The DOD awarded more than $9.1 million for Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) for “ACTIVE SOCIAL ENGINEERING DEFENSE… LARGE SCALE SOCIAL DECEPTION” starting in 2018, according to government funding disclosures. Of the total amount promised, the federal government reportedly paid — or “outlayed” — more than $268,000 for the project.

TRSS is a subsidiary of Thomson Reuters, which owns the leftist media outlet Reuters. According to the company’s website, it offers “scalable solutions to governments and global institutions,” and its leadership “leverages real-world experience in the US Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, law enforcement and the private sector.” The Air Force awarded the contract, and the DOD’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) — the military’s shady research branch — funded the work in “large scale social deception.”

The public has been sold the lie that abortion keeps women safe and, by extension, reduces maternal mortality rates. We’ve been told lack of access to so-called reproductive care will kill women. During the 2024 election season, the Harris-Walz campaign pointed to President Donald Trump as a threat to women based on abortion. The data tell a different story.

Abortion lies, not abortion bans, have caused harm to women, and the maternal mortality rate is actually decreasing. Data published this month by the National Center for Health Statistics show the 2023 maternal mortality rate in the United States was “18.6 deaths per 100,000 live births.” This is a total of 669 deaths. In 2022, the rate was 22.3, which resulted in a total of 817 deaths.

Sadly, the U.S. has the highest rate of maternal deaths among developed nations. In the United Kingdom, for example, the maternal mortality rate for 2021-2023 was 12.67 per 100,000 live births. There is much work to be done to reduce our rate even further. However, a decrease is worth mentioning during a time when fearmongering is so prevalent.

I don’t know who needs to hear it, but the top brass of the Idaho Army National Guard need to be cashiered out of the service after being caught saying Christians are not allowed to be promoted to officer ranks.

The Liberty Counsel has filed a lawsuit against the military branch, but lawsuit or no, Governor Brad Little — a putative Republican — needs to start firing his top Army officers for this.

According to a Liberty Counsel press release:

Liberty Counsel filed a lawsuit on behalf of an Idaho Army National Guard infantry officer against Governor Brad Little and two army generals for unlawfully removing the officer from command solely due to his personal Christian expression on biblical sexuality made outside of the military environment. An investigation into the officer, which revealed no wrongdoing, nevertheless recommended a policy to monitor potential candidates for command for any “concerning ideologies” as a way of “rooting out” any “extremism” in the ranks. In this case, the decision to remove him from command on this basis shows that his superiors believe his Bible-centered beliefs on sexuality to be concerning and essentially puts an unconstitutional “No Christians in Command” policy into action.

Republican Texas Rep. Chip Roy introduced a bill Tuesday to repeal the FACE Act, which “prohibits threats of force, obstruction and property damage intended to interfere with reproductive health care services.”
