Now that Charlie Kirk has been laid to rest, it’s back to work for Turning Point USA. Their first event was at the University of Minnesota, starring Michael Knowles. Yes, in Minneapolis. Yes, in Ilhan Omar’s district, in Tampon Tim Walz’s state. It appears they beat out Berkley, CA, and Park Slope, NY to host the first TPUSA return event.

As we’ve come to expect whenever someone right-of-center stands on stage at a college campus and answers questions from students, the entire idea is threatening and makes people feel unsafe. Although I must admit, for the first TPUSA event back, I was expecting a little more energy from the haters.

Maybe they sent the A-team to the local ABC affiliate to protest Jimmy Kimmel’s extended weekend off. Leaving only the B-team to protest Knowles.

Regardless, the frat bros were activated.

Those same qualities, however, also made him a threat to South Korea’s Democratic Party.

His persecution began during the COVID lockdowns in December 2020.

Only 20 members could gather at a church, no matter the congregation size, Son said.

“My father’s church is built to have 6,000 people. However, allowing just five people or 20 people, however the government wants — he rejected,” Son said.

Last week, the propaganda press assured us that self-described comedian Jimmy Kimmel was pulled off air because President Donald Trump was an authoritarian, a fascist, or tyrannical. No, what mattered to the propaganda press was spinning the story to malign Trump.

Of course the narrative collapsed Monday when Disney announced it would bring Kimmel back on air days after he falsely stated that Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was “MAGA.”

“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” Disney said Monday afternoon in a statement. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”

Disney itself admitted once again that pulling Kimmel off air was merely a business decision — exactly what was reported at least four days ago. It wasn’t Trump or the FCC — if it was, Disney would not be reinstating Kimmel. But that’s not what the propaganda press told us. Instead, they deliberately misled Americans so that they could distract from their own culpability in creating a hostile environment that led to Kirk’s assassination by painting Trump as the real problem and Kimmel as the real victim.

Former ESPN anchor Keith Olbermann appeared to threaten conservative CNN analyst Scott Jennings on Monday.

Olbermann wrote to Scott Jennings in a now-deleted post on X, “You’re next motherfucker.”

“But keep mugging to the camera,” he said in another deleted post.

Scott Jennings shared screenshots of the posts and tagged FBI Director Kash Patel.

According to the New York Post, Olbermann was “responding to a tweet from Jennings reacting to ABC reinstating late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, after he was pulled off the air for offensive comments related to conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination.”

‘”Now we get the fascists off real TV. That’d mean your career is next, Jennings. Send a tape to Real America ‘s Voice,’ Olbermann posted in that thread, a possible clarification of what he meant,” added the post.

Olbermann’s post comes less than a week after he suggested conservative activist Charlie Kirk is burning in hell following his assassination.

President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice weighed in Monday against the ban on high-powered firearms that Illinois and Gov. JB Pritzker passed after the Highland Park Fourth of July mass shooting in 2022 but found itself on the defensive as an appellate court justice grilled an assistant attorney general about whether “facts matter” as she tried to justify the administration’s position.

In arguing before the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, Harmeet Dhillon, the U.S. Justice Department’s assistant attorney general for civil rights, said the nation has a “strong interest” in ensuring that the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms is “not relegated to a second-class right” and criticized claims from state officials that certain guns covered by the ban are suited more for military operations than routine self-defense.

But Judge Frank Easterbrook interrupted Dhillon early during the five minutes the court allowed her to speak even though the federal government is not a party to the case. Easterbrook noted the legal challenge from state officials resulted from a ruling by a district court in southern Illinois that determined the ban was unconstitutional, while a court in northern Illinois previously ruled a similar ban was legally sound.

“Suppose the (southern Illinois) district court had found every contested issue of fact in favor of the state. Would that affect your review of the statute’s constitutionality?” asked Easterbrook, who was appointed to the bench in the 1980s by Republican President Ronald Reagan.

As Dhillon began answering by saying, “It would not, your honor,” Easterbrook fired back, “So you don’t think the facts matter?”

When Gamble interjected to ask if he was referring to the Syrian regime, he said he was referring to the whole region generally. She then asked if that included Israel, to which he responded, “Absolutely.”

Barrack voiced further disenchantment with Israel and its effect on the region elsewhere in the interview, particularly regarding Lebanon. He said that due to Israel’s actions, Hezbollah had no incentive to disarm.

On Sunday, a crowd of 80,000 people — plus scores more watching online — memorialized Charlie Kirk. The event, held at a State Farm Stadium, home to the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, brought together the biggest names in Christian music while also featuring a predictable lineup of MAGA loyalists. There were declarations that Donald Trump was chosen by God himself to punish evildoers, capped off with a rousing speech by Trump himself that seethed in hatred for his political opponents. The event was bizarre — unless you’re acquainted with the liturgy and theology of Christian nationalism.

In many ways, this was one of Christian nationalism’s biggest and loudest days. It was clear that in Kirk, this movement had found its icon — an exemplar of their brand of nationalistic faith. In life, Kirk tried to set himself apart from the movement that’s come to define his legacy. “I’ve never described myself as a Christian nationalist,” he said during one campus debate months before his assassination. “I”m a Christian, and I’m a nationalist.” But it’s a distinction without a difference. Kirk followed his own rebuttal by citing scripture to justify a faith-infused nationalism. The memorial of his life followed a similar pattern; gesturing at scripture, and dripping in the nationalistic fervor that’s come to define modern conservative politics.

There was a sermon by Pastor Rob McCoy, which culminated in a call for people to accept Jesus as their personal savior. But what followed wasn’t a moment of solemn, lingering, prayer. Instead, the crowd was called to stand for the national anthem.
