“We have zero tolerance for direct or implicit threats against government officials. I’ve referred this matter to [The US Secret Service] and requested a full threat assessment.”

Acting US Attorney for the Central District of California, Bill Essayli, said Saturday he has referred a social media post from Governor Gavin Newsom’s press office to the Secret Service that he said could have been a potential threat against Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Earlier Saturday morning, Newsom’s press office posted on X, “Kristi Noem is going to have a bad day today. You’re welcome, America.” The initial post did not clarify what it was referencing.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin condemned the remark on X, writing, “This reads like a threat. This is ugly [Gavin Newsom]. Your keyboard warrior team may hide behind their laptops and spew this kind of vitriol but you would never have the guts to say this to her face.”

Japan Confirms Over 600,000 Citizens Killed by Covid ‘Vaccines’– slaynews.com

Chilling news is emerging from Japan as the nation’s leading experts have uncovered explosive evidence linking skyrocketing excess deaths to Covid mRNA “vaccines.”

A grassroots coalition, United Citizens for Stopping mRNA Vaccines, has forced the release of official vaccination records for 21 million Japanese citizens through a series of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

The records include vaccination dates, batch numbers, and post-vaccine death reports.

The results are devastating.

Professor Murakami of Tokyo Science University, a respected scientist, analyzed the data and uncovered a consistent, alarming pattern:

   • A surge in deaths occurred 90–120 days after injection.

   • Those who received multiple doses saw earlier and steeper death spikes, suggesting cumulative toxicity.

   • Murakami estimates that 600,000–610,000 Japanese citizens have been killed by the “vaccines.”

Polls open in Guinea in a referendum that could allow junta leader to run for president– abcnews.go.com

CONAKRY, Guinea — Polls opened in Guinea on Sunday for a referendum that could allow the leader of the country’s junta to run for the presidency and is being closely watched in the coup-battered region.

Citizens of this coastal West African country are casting their ballots in favor or against a new draft constitution, the key step in the country’s transition from military rule to civilian rule. Elections are expected to follow in December.

Guinea is one of a growing number of West African countries, including Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso, where the military has taken power and delayed a return to civilian rule. Critics say Sunday’s referendum is a way for Gen. Mamadi Doumbouya, who ousted President Alpha Conde in 2021, to seek the presidency and legitimize his military rule.

There are 6.7 million eligible voters and the referendum needs a voter turnout of at least 50% to pass.

Polls opened at 7 a.m. local time and are expected to close at 6 p.m.

In the last days of the campaign, Conakry, Guinea’s capital, was buzzing with activity. There were Quran readings, reggae concerts and prayers held in support of Doumbouya. Supporters wearing T-shirts and boubous — traditional West African flowing garments — printed with Doumbouya’s face, gathered at neighborhood rallies. Only one thing was missing: the opposition.

Trump used ‘golden share’ to block U.S. Steel’s production halt plan: WSJ– japantoday.com

The U.S. government blocked United States Steel Corp’s plan to shut down production at a plant in the Midwest, resorting to its new authority over the company, which has been acquired by Nippon Steel Corp, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

As part of the $14.1 billion takeover deal of the iconic yet struggling American steelmaker by the Japanese company that was finalized in June, the U.S. government was granted a “golden share” that gives it veto power over key management decisions.

According to the newspaper, U.S. Steel notified workers in Granite City in the state of Illinois two weeks ago that plant operations would cease in November. Nippon Steel said it would continue to pay the mill’s nearly 800 employees despite the closure.

But U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick reportedly called U.S. Steel CEO David Burritt and told him that the administration would not allow operations to cease, and President Donald Trump would invoke the “golden share” authority over plant operations.

U.S. Steel therefore reversed its plan and said that Granite City Works will continue rolling steel slabs into sheet steel, according to the WSJ.

U.S. Steel told Kyodo News that the company is “pleased to have found a solution to continue slab consumption at Granite City,” noting that its goal was to “maintain flexibility.”

An official of Nippon Steel declined to comment on the production halt plan and the involvement of the U.S. government.

“We are not in a feud with the U.S. administration,” the official said.

US President Donald Trump threatened Afghanistan with unspecified “bad things” if it doesn’t turn the massive Bagram Air Base outside Kabul back to United States, an action previously rejected by the country’s Taliban rulers.

“If Afghanistan doesn’t give Bagram Airbase back to those that built it, the United States of America, BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN,” Trump said on September 20 in a Truth Social post.

Asked by reporters at the White House whether he would consider sending troops to recapture the facility, Trump said only that “we won’t talk about that.”

“We’re talking now to Afghanistan, and we want it back and we want it back soon, right away. And if they don’t do it — if they don’t do it, you’re going to find out what I’m gonna do,” he told reporters.

The remarks come after Trump on September 18 said the United States was attempting to get Bagram Air Base back from Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers, citing the extremist group’s need for US help and the facility’s proximity to China’s nuclear assets.

“We’re trying to get it back because they [Taliban rulers] need things from us,” Trump said without being specific during a joint news conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London.

Artificial Intelligence could pose a real threat to humanity, a group has warned(Image: Getty Images)

Superpowered Artificial Intelligence could bring about the extinction of humankind in just a few years, researchers have claimed.

AI risk researchers have joined together to issue an urgent warning about the future of AI in a new book, titled If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies, claiming a frightening iteration of the already advanced technology could arrive imminently. They claim Artificial superintelligence (ASI) is just two to five years from development, and that it spells doom for humanity.

When it arrives, they have sensationally claimed that “everyone, everywhere on Earth, will die”, and warned people spooked by the research they should join the call to have development paused “as soon as we can for as long as necessary”.

Liberals have admitted to spending over $3 million to defend their use of the Emergencies Act to end the 2022 Freedom Convoy.

During a September 15 session in the House of Commons, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General Patricia Lattanzio revealed that the Liberal government has spent a total of $3,645,000 on various legal battles related to the Liberals’ use of the Emergencies Act (EA) to end the 2022 Freedom Convoy.

“With regard to legal services and the Department of Justice: what are the total legal costs incurred by the government?” Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) Andrew Lawton had questioned.

Legal cases funded by Canadian taxpayers to defend the Emergencies Act included Canadian Frontline Nurses and Kristen Nagle v. Attorney General of Canada, Canadian Civil Liberties Association v. Attorney General of Canada, Canadian Constitution Foundation v. Attorney General of Canada, and Jeremiah Jost, Edward Cornell, Vincent Gircys and Harold Ristau v. Governor in Council, Attorney General of Canada, and Minister of Public Safety.

The total amount was based on information from the Department of Justice systems as of June 6.

In February 2022, thousands of Canadians gathered in snowy downtown Ottawa to demand the return of freedoms lost through COVID mandates, including an end to vaccine requirements.

Russian jets violating Estonia airspace ignored NATO warning, officials say – National– globalnews.ca

Russian pilots ignored signals from Italian jets responding from NATO’s Baltic Air Policing Mission when they violated Estonian airspace, a senior Estonian military official said Saturday.

The 12-minute incursion was the latest test of the alliance’s ability to respond to Russian airborne threats after around 20 Russian drones entered Polish airspace on Sept. 10.

Russia’s Defense Ministry on Saturday denied its aircraft flew into Estonia’s airspace, after Tallinn reported three fighter jets crossed into its territory on Friday without permission.

Estonian officials dismissed the denial, saying the violation was confirmed by radar and visual contact and suggested it could be a tactic to draw Western resources away from Ukraine.

The Russian MIG-31 fighters entered Estonian airspace between 9:58 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. local time Friday in the area of Vaindloo, a small island located in the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic Sea, the Estonian military said. A ministry statement said it was the fourth airspace violation by Russia this year.

California Lawyer Punished for Using AI That Cited Fake Cases– www.breitbart.com

A lawyer in California was hit with sanctions by the courts after it was discovered that he had been citing cases that did not exist — and that were completely made up by artificial intelligence (AI) programs.

The Daily Journal reported:

By now, most attorneys are familiar with the limitations of artificial intelligence–particularly its tendency to produce fabricated citations and unreliable authority–but the California Court of Appeal has now made clear that those “hallucinations” can carry very real consequences.

In Noland v. Land of the Free, L.P. (B331918, Sept. 12, 2025), Division Three of the Second District sanctioned the plaintiff/appellant’s attorney $10,000 and reported him to the state bar after finding that nearly all of the legal quotations in his appellate briefs were invented by generative AI tools and had never appeared in any published case.

And the Court was clear as to the reasons why it was publishing the opinion: “We … publish this opinion as a warning. Simply stated, no brief, pleading, motion, or any other paper filed in any court should contain any citations–whether provided by generative AI or any other source–that the attorney responsible for submitting the pleading has not personally read and verified.” (emphasis in original).

Judge decides Chicago lawsuit against gunmaker can advance– www.chicagotribune.com

A Cook County judge on Thursday denied motions to dismiss a lawsuit brought last year by the city of Chicago against gun manufacturer Glock and a pair of suburban gun stores.

In a 17-page order, Judge Allen P. Walker wrote, in part, that “a reasonable jury could determine that the design and manufacture of a Glock pistol by Glock Inc., its subsequent sale by Eagle Sports Range and Midwest Sporting Goods, materially contribute to a condition in the City of Chicago that endangers the safety and health of the public.”

The next hearing in the lawsuit, brought by the city last year, is scheduled for next month.

“This ruling is a major step towards holding Glock accountable for endangering the residents of our city,” Mayor Brandon Johnson said in a statement.

The city has alleged that Glock willfully ignored design flaws in its handguns that allow for them to be easily turned to fire automatic rounds.

The spike in the use of “auto sears” or “switches” — quarter-size devices affixed to Glock pistols that allow for multiple bullets to be fired with one trigger pull — has  exacerbated the city’s entrenched violence problems, city attorneys allege.
