Don Lemon is quickly finding out that consequences apply under the Trump administration. As RedState reported, the self-described “journalist” has been arrested for his part in allegedly storming a church, harassing congregants, and refusing to leave when asked by the pastor.
With Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson, and other hard-leftists out there trying to conjure up the spirits of Jefferson Davis and Stonewall Jackson, President Donald Trump has just made it clear that he is not going to tolerate any more of this low-grade but escalating insurrection.
Socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani cheered the action.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul has thrown her support behind a new proposal that if enacted would outlaw formal agreements between New York localities and Immigration and Customs Enforcement that allow for local police to be deputized as ICE agents.
While flanked by law enforcement on Friday at a press conference, Hochul proposed outlawing the formal agreements known as 287(g) agreements, which allow for local New York police departments to work with ICE by allowing local officers to be deputized along with ICE for immigration enforcement.
U.S. Border Czar Tom Homan announced Thursday that the organizers and funders behind the ICE-hunting groups in Minnesota will be held accountable, declaring, “justice is coming.”
Homan, who now leads President Trump’s immigration enforcement operation in the Twin Cities, held a morning news conference in Minneapolis to discuss his progress following discussions with Governor Tim Walz (D), Attorney General Keith Ellison (D), and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D).
“Jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities are sanctuaries for criminals,” Homan stated. “It endangers the residents of the communities.”
The leftist worldview just got a lot shakier.
The names of the federal agents reportedly involved in the fatal shooting of Minneapolis protester Alex Pretti in January were publicized Sunday by a leftist website.
And if the names are correct, they destroy the narrative Americans have been fed for more than a week.
Both men are Hispanics hailing from South Texas. One is an agent for Border Patrol, the other is with Customs and Border Protection, according to Pro Publica.
There has been over a 1,000 percent increase in assaults on ICE since the Trump administration started the president’s second term.
Antifa militants who have usually taken to identifying and doxing people on the right side of the political aisle have switched gears, working to identify and dox ICE agents in recent months.
An ICE agent who pepper-sprayed an anti-ICE agitator in Minneapolis was filmed by the Minneapolis Star Tribune in Minnesota recently, and now the “Pacific Antifascist Research Collective” has claimed to identify the ICE agent. The Antifa cell, which claims to be an “autonomous group of anti-fascist researchers dedicated to providing communities from the Rockies to the Pacific with research and tools to protect themselves from fascism,” posted the reported identity of the ICE agent to Bluesky.
“This is my daughter’s middle school. I’m pulling my child today… being allowed to protest ICE agents, disrupting traffic… This is f*cking unbelievable.”
An Auburn, Washington mother recorded herself removing her seventh-grade child from Olympic Middle School on Friday after learning that students had walked out during the school day to protest federal immigration enforcement. In the video, she described the walkout disrupting traffic, interfering with learning, and creating an environment she did not believe was safe for her child or for parents approaching the campus.
Organized protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions across the nation have begun spilling over into public school classrooms as videos surface of teachers leading their students in walkouts.
In recent days, a wave of anti-ICE protests have taken place around the nation and public school teachers and their students are becoming participants in walkouts and rallies.
In Asheville, North Carolina, students were filmed streaming out of their school, carrying professionally printed signs as part of a protest against federal immigration enforcement raids.
New York City is poised to significantly expand its sanctuary city policies after the City Council voted to override a veto blocking legislation that would prohibit federal immigration agents from operating inside city correctional facilities.
Socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani is expected to sign the Safer Sanctuary Act into law in the coming days.
The new law makes all 19 city-run correctional facilities, including Rikers Island, off-limits to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The bill was introduced last year by Democrat Astoria Councilmember Tiffany Cabán, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

A 21-year-old Texas woman has been charged with arson and burglary after allegedly breaking into and setting fire to a Republican Party headquarters in New Braunfels, an incident GOP leaders say reflects a troubling escalation of political extremism.
Newsmax reported that authorities identified the suspect as Grace Carol Brown, who was arrested on January 22, 2026, following a joint investigation involving local law enforcement and the FBI. Brown is accused of smashing an exterior window, unlawfully entering the Comal County Republican Party headquarters, and starting a deliberate fire inside the building.
According to officials, employees arriving at the headquarters on January 14 discovered broken windows and evidence of a small fire, prompting an immediate response from the New Braunfels Police Department and Fire Department. The fire caused minor damage, and no injuries were reported, but Republican officials emphasized that the act appeared intentional and targeted. Police said investigators from the New Braunfels Police Department, the New Braunfels Fire Marshal’s Office, and the FBI’s San Antonio office worked together to identify the suspect, gather evidence, and obtain search and arrest warrants.
There are a multitude of stories emerging from the ongoing unrest in Minnesota, but the Elitist Media have settled on one of them to put forward in furtherance of narrative at the expense of other, more inconvenient stories. Kirk Bangstad, the Wisconsin owner of Minocqua Brewing Company, has openly expressed extreme hostility toward President Donald Trump, conservatives, and anyone who does not share his far-left ideology.
Bangstad, who was ordered to pay a six-figure sum for defamation in 2023 and was charged with harassment last year, has a long record of incendiary rhetoric.
The beermaker is also treasurer of a far-left federal super PAC bearing the same name as his brewing company.

West Chicago Mayor Daniel Bovey also joined the mob in calling on Gary Elementary School to get rid of the teacher for showing support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
‘We want to ensure our schools are safe spaces, and we look forward to seeing all students back in school.’
“We have kids in our school districts, in this school specifically, who have lost a mom or dad or family member within the last three months. They’re going home wondering if they will ever see Mom or Dad again,” Bovey said.
The teacher’s outrageous statement was composed of only two words: “Go ICE.”
The Trump administration’s response to the weekslong insurrection in Minneapolis showed left-wing leaders across the country one thing: Riots work.

As his first executive order after taking office on Jan. 1, Sean Ryan, Democrat mayor of Buffalo, New York, decided on Monday to prohibit “the use of City of Buffalo personnel or resources for federal civil immigration enforcement.”
Democratic Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy said during a Sunday morning CNN appearance that his party’s caucus cannot support a government shutdown-averting bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which he claimed was “murdering American citizens.”
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, in a Saturday statement, vowed his party’s caucus “will not provide the votes” necessary to pass a spending package which includes a DHS funding bill. The declaration came hours after Border Patrol agents fatally shot Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. Murphy appeared to agree with Schumer, saying on “State of the Union with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash” that “Democrats are not going to vote” for the package — that if not passed by its Jan. 30 deadline would launch the country into a partial government shutdown.”
Intentionally or not, the PBS News Hour exhibited a liberal double standard in descriptions in a story by Liz Landers from Minneapolis, where residents are apparently being persecuted under ICE.
A long 13-minute Thursday segment, which was capped with two guests, one from the Trump administration and one from the Obama administration, twice underlined that anti-ICE protester Renee Good was killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, but the November murder of another federal law officer in Washington, D.C. was downgraded to a mere “shooting.”

Some Republicans on Capitol Hill expressed relief after President Donald Trump announced Monday he would send border czar Tom Homan to handle immigration enforcement in Minnesota after Department of Homeland Security agents shot and killed a second U.S. citizen there.
Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) said in an interview that the move was “a positive step to get the situation under control” while calling for a “full and transparent investigation” into the two Minneapolis shootings.
“There needs to be greater coordination and cooperation between federal, state, and local officials — which is why sanctuary policies need to end and local officials must work with ICE so they can do their jobs without interference,” he said. “It is paramount that we work to keep the public and law enforcement safe, while respecting the rights of everyone involved, including the right to peacefully protest.”

Speaking to CNN host Jake Tapper, a Minneapolis bookstore owner compared deportation centers with Nazi concentration camps, and went as far as to claim, “I’m not saying they are putting people in ovens — yet.”
Jamie Schwesnedl, owner of Moon Palace Books, joined Tapper to discuss the “economic blackout” to protest ICE. The craziest part is not that he said what he said, it’s that it was so extreme that even Tapper appeared physically uncomfortable by it.
According to Schwesnedl, “we can’t do business as usual right now anyway because our city has been invaded by masked gunmen kidnapping family members and friends and neighbors of ours to send them to concentration camps. Additionally, there are a lot of businesses in our area that have staff or customers or owners who are afraid to come to work, afraid to come in and shop. People are closing down today, and we felt like it wouldn’t be kind or fair for us to stay open. So we’re closing in solidarity to help send a message.”
The Minnesota National Guard has been caught handing out coffee and donuts to anti-ICE mobs after being deployed to the state, raising serious questions about whose side state authorities are on as federal law enforcement faces escalating violence.
Instead of maintaining order or protecting federal property from the lawless mobs that have besieged Minneapolis, Guard troops are now appearing to cater to the very protesters disrupting immigration enforcement operations.

Evening news coverage of the continuing unrest in Minnesota focused nearly exclusively on the death of Alex Pretti and subsequent fallout, including personnel changes as far as who is in charge of immigration enforcement operations. But two out of the three major broadcast networks neglected to cover the destruction of the lobby of a hotel suspected of harboring government personnel.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (D) spurred outrage this week after suggesting during an interview that residents may use lethal force against masked Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents using the state’s “Stand Your Ground” law.
Arizona’s largest police organization blasted her comments on Friday, calling them “reckless, irresponsible and dangerous to the safety of all law enforcement professionals in this state.”
During an interview with 12 News anchor Brahm Resnik earlier this week, Mayes stated that the law allows individuals to defend themselves with lethal force if they reasonably believe their life is in danger, particularly when facing unidentifiable individuals in plain clothes wearing masks.

Senator Mark Kelly (R-AZ) led 5 Democrat U.S. legislators in a viral video campaign appealing to the military to “refuse illegal orders.” Now, Kelly could face a military recall and court martial, while all six face potential treason charges, The video campaign was called “Don’t Give Up the Ship.” One legislator, Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), when pressed, could not identify any specific “illegal orders.”
President Trump’s suggestion treason means hanging triggered House Democrats to call the Capital Police for reasons not given. Since the viral video, more Democrat legislators have come out in support of the open call for military members and intelligence officials to commit, in essence, treason.
Well-founded suspicion is the Democrats are saying as much as they can say publicly to a sleeper cell that knows they mean insurrection, not defiance of unconstitutional orders. Given the unconstitutional policies of the DNC, this seems a well-founded concern. So far, Pam Bondi has threatened, but not charged, once again.
SEDITION: Pentagon Launches Review of ‘Serious Allegations of Misconduct’ Against Mark Kelly – Geller Report
The Pentagon said Monday that it has received “serious allegations of misconduct” against Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) and has initiated a “thorough review” of the allegations. It comes days after the senator, along with a handful of other lawmakers, called on U.S. service members to disobey any illegal orders issued by the Trump administration.
The Department of Defense said it had initiated an investigation to “determine further actions, which may include recall to active duty for court-martial proceedings or administrative measures.”
“This matter will be handled in compliance with military law, ensuring due process and impartiality,” the statement read. “Further official comments will be limited, to preserve the integrity of the proceedings.”
Kelly said Monday that he had upheld his oath to the Constitution through his time in the Navy and that his time in the military and at NASA was “in service to this country that I love and has given me so much.”
