DNC Criminal Media

In a year when President Donald Trump called Chicago the “most dangerous city in the world” and launched an aggressive deportation campaign, citywide killings ultimately fell to a 60-year low as overall crime continued to drop.

The number of murders in Chicago decreased from 587 in 2024 to 416 last year, a nearly 30% drop, according to Chicago police data. It’s the lowest total since 1965 and the first time in a decade the city has had fewer than 500 slayings in a year.

Violent crime has been declining in Chicago after it peaked during the pandemic in 2021.

The New York Times is demanding that the Canadian government advances it’s rapid expansion of “assisted suicide” laws in order to swiftly euthanize a woman suffering from mental health issues.

It comes as Canada’s spiraling assisted-suicide program is once again under international fire after the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities called on the Canadian government to repeal its planned expansion of euthanasia for those suffering solely from mental illness, a policy critics warn will normalize suicide as “healthcare.”

Jimmy Kimmel’s awards acceptance speech Jan. 4 at the Critics Choice Awards included a nod to President Donald Trump.

Kimmel took the stage in a hangar in Santa Monica, California, and sarcastically thanked the president.

“Thanks to all the writers and actors and producers and union members, many of you who are in this room, who supported us, who really stepped forward us and reminded us that we do not take free speech for granted in this city or in this country. Your actions were important, and we appreciate them,” the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host said.

There’s nothing like a dramatic military action by President Trump to underline how much National “Public” Radio sounds like DNC Radio. On Weekend Edition Saturday, within hours of Maduro being seized, guest host Daniel Estrin interviewed Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) and energetically pushed that Trump’s actions were illegal:

ESTRIN: You were among the lawmakers who said the Trump administration’s strikes on boats in the Caribbean were illegal. You were even discussing the possibility of those strikes constituting a war crime. So how do you see last night’s operations?

Poor Scott Jennings must struggle to refrain from pulling his hair out nightly on CNN.

On Tuesday, for instance, the network’s resident conservative had to deal with a communications “expert” who apparently cannot communicate.

In a clip posted to the social media platform X, Jennings used a single question to expose the silliness of leftist podcaster Tezlyn Figaro, founder of the Tezlyn Figaro Communications Group, who offered an outlandish explanation for why White House chief of staff Susie Wiles gave an ill-advised interview to Vanity Fair, which the outlet published on Tuesday morning.

“Somebody asked her to take the fall,” Figaro speculated during a panel discussion on “CNN NewsNight.” “I mean, just being honest, somebody needed to come at — I know I’m being a conspiracy theorist.”

Jennings, with a furrowed brow, posed the obvious question.

“Take the fall for what?” he asked.

The federal trial of Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan begins today, as prosecutors allege she helped an illegal alien escape arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) earlier this year.

Dugan is charged with obstruction of federal proceedings and concealing a person from arrest over her alleged actions involving Eduardo Flores-Ruiz.

Flores-Ruiz is an illegal alien who has since pled guilty to re-entering the U.S. and no contest to one count of battery.

According to court filings cited by Reuters, Dugan became “visibly angry” when she learned that ICE agents were waiting outside her courtroom to arrest Flores-Ruiz.

The mainstream media just loves manufacturing nontroversies, something we saw, for instance, in the New York Times hit pieces in 2024 on Justice Samuel Alito’s wife, Martha, over her once briefly flying the U.S. flag upside down at their home, and for flying the “Appeal to Heaven” flag at their beach home in New Jersey in the summer of 2023.

In the “Appeal to Heaven” flag article, the authors made sure to do the same thing they did in the inverted flag stories: to “link” it to the events of January 6, 2021, and Christian nationalism.

“Also known as the Pine Tree flag, it dates back to the Revolutionary War, but largely fell into obscurity until recent years,” the Times proclaimed, “and is now a symbol of support for former President Donald J. Trump, for a religious strand of the ‘Stop the Steal’ campaign and for a push to remake American government in Christian terms.”

As the nation continues to be roiled by debate over unfettered immigration and terrorism, with such deadly results as the recent D.C. shooting, a new horrifying plot comes into light. And two of the nation’s three broadcast network newscasts couldn’t be bothered to cover it.

NBC did, though. Watch the report in its entirety, as aired on NBC Nightly News on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025:

TOM LLAMAS: In Delaware a potentially violent attack on a college thwarted after police say they confronted a man and found rounds of ammunition in his car and detailed plans for an attack in his home. Sam Brock has more on the police work that appears to have saved lives.

SAM BROCK: Police in Delaware may have prevented catastrophe after finding this University of Delaware student, Luqqman Khan, inside his truck in a park after hours last week. Officers patrolling the area initiated a traffic stop. Khan was uncooperative and armed, they say, with a loaded Glock handgun, more than 1000 rounds of ammunition and an armored ballistic plate, as well as a notebook that according to the federal complaint states his desire to be a, quote, “martyr”, naming a member of the University of Delaware Police Department has a target. “Battle efficiency, kill all, martyrdom, all combatants”, he wrote.

The fact that martyrdom was invoked, does that add another chilling dimension to the story?

Wikipedia is “Wokepedia,” complains Elon Musk. That’s because it’s become so left-wing.

“It’s designed to push an ideological agenda that you can’t see,” says journalist Ashley Rindsberg in my new video. He runs “Neutral Point of View,” a Substack publication that exposes Wikipedia bias.

“So what if it’s biased?” I ask. “It’s just one website.”

“Wikipedia’s information spreads into everything online,” he replies, “ChatGPT, … Siri, Alexa. Ask a question, it is all Wikipedia.”

As a result, “a few thousand powerful editors determine what gets counted as information.”

Those editors sure hate President Donald Trump. When he put undocumented immigrants in what people called “cages” at detention centers, Wikipedia editors listed the centers under “concentration camps.”

One night after hyping “disturbing images” out of Florida during a Border Patrol operation, ABC’s World News Tonight was at it again on Friday. This time, anchor David Muir and correspondent Pierre Thomas labeled the videos “alarming” and “harrowing” despite each of the three examples having a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Muir kicked off the segment by declaring, “We move on to the alarming new images this evening. A woman seen being chased by federal agents near New Orleans, screaming to be left alone. She’s a U.S. citizen being chased by Border Patrol, but Homeland Security is now saying tonight it comes amid similar scenes playing out across the country as President Trump’s immigration crackdown grows. Pierre Thomas with the images tonight.”

Thomas began his report with “harrowing video showing a woman frantically running away from federal agents in Louisiana. President Trump’s nationwide immigration crackdown intensifies.”

As it turns out, the episode was just a case of mistaken identity, “Masked border agents chasing that woman on foot as she screams in fear. Running into her house as her stepfather races outside. Initially thinking she was being kidnapped. Demanding answers. That woman was a 23-year-old U.S. citizen. DHS saying in a statement, “All agents left the area as soon as they determined the individual in question was not who they were looking for.’”

President Donald Trump hosted a Cabinet meeting at the White House Tuesday, where Secretary of War Pete Hegseth gave a spirited defense of the much debated military strikes on a drug-trafficking vessel in the Caribbean on September 2.

The Washington Post reported on Friday that Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” before the strikes on the “suspected drug boats.” After two men allegedly survived the initial strike, according to the Post’s sources, the mission commander ordered a second strike to take them out to comply with Hegseth’s directive. “The two men were blown apart in the water, the Post reported.

Democrats contend that the second strike to take out the survivors could have been a violation of the laws of war.

Amid talk of potential war crimes, the New York Times on Monday reported additional details refuting the Washington Post’s version of events, clarifying that Hegseth had ordered the attack, but not the killing of survivors.

In a rush to cast a pall on one element of President Trump’s announced farm relief, ABC’s Rachel Scott omitted another. Thus was the prophecy fulfilled when President Trump earlier referred to Scott’s employer as “ABC Fake News.”

Watch as Scott mischaracterized the aid received by farmers as “taxpayer money”, although it isn’t:

It’s unclear what universe the New York Times is living in, but can we stop playing the sympathy game for people who steal other people’s identity? In the pursuit of ensuring no human is labeled illegal, this illegal alien illegally stole someone’s identity — which, of course, is illegal. And the only victim here is the person whose identity was stolen. If that isn’t an illegal slap in the face of our justice system, nothing is.

The New York Times is really out there claiming that because “thousands of undocumented workers rely on fraudulent Social Security numbers,” somehow that makes them the victim. They even dedicated an article to the illegal who stole the Social Security number of an innocent American.

Earlier this week, the American people were “reliably” informed by the left-wing press that the full grand jury that indicted disgraced former FBI Director James Comey did not see the final indictment.

“Judge grills government over apparent lapses in Comey indictment,” ABC News’ Peter Charalambous, Alexander Mallin, Katherine Faulders, and Nicholas Kerr wrote on November 19. According to the quartet, U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan “told a judge … that the full grand jury that indicted Comey did not see the final indictment — only the foreperson and another grand juror did.”

It was the same claim made by The Guardian’s Sam Levine, who headlined his piece: “Full grand jury didn’t see final Comey indictment, prosecutors admit.”

From our watchtower here at the Media Research Center, we have identified a recent and nasty trend emerging from the Elitist Media. It’s called “Trumpwashing”: that phenomenon wherein the media withhold covering some Democrat scandal until President Donald Trump opines on it, with President Trump’s statement being covered as if it were the scandal, rather than the underlying and until now suppressed Democrat event.

The latest instance of a Trumpwashed scandal: the video, published by six Democrat members of Congress calling on members of the Armed Forces and Intelligence Agencies to disobey unspecified “illegal” orders. The media held their tongues on the video until Trump spoke up, and the rest is history.

As an evidentiary sample, we submit for your consideration the totality of the Trumpwashed report aired on NBC Nightly News (click “expand” to view full transcript):

Earlier this month, The New York Times ran an interview with Wikipedia cofounder Jimmy Wales titled, “The Culture Wars Came for Wikipedia. Jimmy Wales Is Staying the Course.” There, Wales painted Wikipedia as a well-intentioned site trying its best to remain unbiased — and being unfairly targeted by those on the right.

That couldn’t be further from the truth.

No matter how the NYT and Wales try to spin the narrative, reality remains: The culture wars didn’t “come for Wikipedia.” Wikipedia voluntarily threw itself into the fray — and contrary to its claims, it didn’t remain impartial.

It’s telling that even Wales’ co-founder, Larry Sanger, says the website is biased. He’s right: There’s no other way to describe a site that labeled Charlie Kirk, a mainstream conservative, a “far-right conspiracy theorist.”

The White House has once again spoken out against The View for criticizing the Trump administration.

This time, they’re coming for longtime co-host Ana Navarro, who recently chalked up the administration’s controversial response to the newly released Jeffrey Epstein files as “white, rich, powerful, entitled men protecting other white, rich, powerful, entitled men.”

In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson labeled Navarro, who is a registered Republican, a “TDS liberal,” using the abbreviation for “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“Like all TDS liberals, Ana only cares about the Epstein files because she thinks she can weaponize it against President Trump,” the statement reads. It goes on to claim that Navarro “didn’t care about Epstein during [Joe] Biden’s presidency.”

Someone should “fact check” the promotional language of PolitiFact. They claim: “We’re a nonpartisan, independent newsroom dedicated to fact-checking journalism….The reason we publish is to give citizens the information they need to govern themselves in a democracy.” They claim they improve the quality of the “information ecosystem.”

But nearly every study of their “Truth-O-Meter” since PolitiFact was founded in 2007 has demonstrated a dramatic partisan tilt. From June to October, in the months before the Democrat Party sweep of off-year elections, how tilted was PolitiFact’s “fact-checking newsroom”?

NewsBusters analysts reviewed PolitiFact articles from the last five months of 2025 that evaluated a named politician or public official with a “Truth-O-Meter” ruling, and their tilted version of the “truth” shows that PolitiFact should not be described by anyone as “nonpartisan.”

After much controversy over the doctoring of a portion of President Donald Trump’s remarks at The Ellipse on January 6th, 2021, it has been announced today that both the Director General and News CEO of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) have resigned.

Per The New York Post:

The director-general of the BBC has resigned Sunday amid scandal after the British state broadcaster shared doctored footage of President Trump speaking on Jan. 6.

On Saturday’s The Weekend, co-host Eugene Daniels fretted over video of an immigration arrest in Massachusetts without informing viewers they were targeting a violent criminal, and then allowed a Democrat congresswoman to call the Homeland Security Department a “domestic terrorism organization.” And co-host Jonathan Capehart brought up the case of immigration agents arresting a teacher at a Chicago daycare without informing viewers that she ran to the daycare trying to evade a traffic stop.

At 8:30 a.m. Capehart first brought up the Massachusetts arrest and skeptically read only part of DHS’s statement:

All this comes amid yet more disturbing ICE arrest footage in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. There was video on social media of a man appearing to suffer a seizure while holding a toddler during an arrest. ICE disputes that account, saying the man had, quote, “no legitimate medical episode,” and that he allegedly refused treatment.

House Democrats have been caught spreading a video on social media that promotes false claims about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and their operations.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a detailed rebuttal on Friday after the misleading video was deceitfully reposted and amplified by House Homeland Security Committee Democrats.

The video misrepresented an ICE enforcement operation in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

The committee’s official account on X accused DHS of dishonesty.

While sharing footage of the arrest, the account wrote:

“DHS will lie. They always do,”

On Friday’s The 11th Hour on MSNBC, panelists all went left in their choices for MVP of the week with praise going to the man who threw a sandwich at an ICE agent in D.C., the jury that acquitted him, and socialist Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani (D-New  York).

Host Stephanie Ruhle first went to Betches co-founder Sami Sage who oozed: “The D.C. sandwich guy who was found not guilty of assaulting an ICE officer, and I just think it’s a lovely, you know, non-violent type of resistance.” If someone threw a sandwich at Sage, would she find it “nonviolent”?

After Ruhle responded, “Throwing a sandwich?” Sage added: “Yeah, why not?”

The statement sought by CBS News and provided by the Department of Homeland Security completely undermined the report on a Chicago ICE arrest that ran on the Evening News. But the network ran the report nonetheless, burying the DHS’s statement at the end of the report.

Here is that report in its entirety, as aired on the CBS Evening News on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025:

MAURICE DuBOIS: There is outrage in Chicago tonight following a federal immigration arrest at a day care center.

JOHN DICKERSON: While witnesses say it was a chaotic scene, officials say the day care was not the primary target. Ash-har Quraishi has the story.

ASH-HAR QURAISHI: This video captured the moment ICE agents dragged a pre-K teacher out of a day care center on Chicago’s North Side. She can be seen pleading with the agents as she is pushed up against a waiting sedan. At one point, she shouts in Spanish, “I have papers.”

MIKE QUIGLEY: ICE agents followed a teacher into the facility without a warrant and abducted her in front of her students. This woman is a trusted, loved member of her community. With a work permit.

QURAISHI: Officials identified the woman as Diana Galeano, a Colombian national in the country since 2023 and seeking asylum. Children, teachers, and parents inside of the time of the arrest said they were traumatized by what they saw.

I reported on the preview clips from the 60 Minutes interview that President Donald Trump did with Norah O’Donnell that aired Sunday night. The first two clips were not promising as to whether CBS made a change in how they will be approaching things. One was “What are you doing as president to end the shutdown?” It isn’t up to Trump; it’s up to the Democrats who are behind the government closure. O’Donnell also asked what Trump would do if China attacked Taiwan. Now, that seemed a pretty ridiculous question, because he’s not going to tell her how he would respond, and give away our plans. He made it obvious that it was not something that China would like, which is the only way to answer that question.

“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” he wrote. “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action.”

Trump added, in his signature style, “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!”

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth responded beneath the post: “Yes sir.” Trump elaborated on his post Sunday, stating, “They’re killing record numbers of Christians in Nigeria. They’re killing the Christians and killing them in very large numbers. We’re not going to allow that to happen.”

Predictably, the mainstream press pivoted immediately to trotting out a claim they have been making for years: That there is no targeted mass killing of Christians in Nigeria, and that there is certainly no genocide underway. The BBC led their coverage by stating that “claims of a genocide against Nigeria’s Christians have been circulating in recent weeks and months in some right-wing U.S. circles.”

If you had to describe the last decade or so of political life in America, the list would likely include the following: The Black Lives Matter movement. The death of George Floyd. America’s first Black president. The rise of the MAGA movement. The election and reelection of Donald Trump. A resurgence of white nationalism. An erasure of Black history.

America in these last 10 years has experienced generational political upheaval, clashes over race and identity, and a battle over the very direction of the country itself. Few writers have charted these wild swings better than staff writer for The New Yorker and Columbia Journalism School Dean Jelani Cobb. And for Cobb, it all started when he was asked to write about an incident that was just beginning to make national news: the death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed Black 17-year-old in Florida.

“At the time, I thought of Trayvon as this particularly resonant metaphor. But I didn’t understand that he was actually the start of something much bigger,” Cobb says. “I’m still kind of hearing the echoes of that moment.”

Cobb recently released Three or More Is a Riot: Notes on How We Got Here: 2012–2025, a collection of essays from more than a decade at The New Yorker, that all begin with that moment of national reckoning over Martin’s death. On this week’s episode, Cobb looks back at how the Trayvon Martin incident shaped the coming decade, reexamines the Black Lives Matter movement and President Obama’s legacy in the age of Donald Trump, and shares what he tells his journalism students at a time when the media is under attack.
