Last Sunday, as a massive blizzard hit New York City, Comrade Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani posted praise of municipal workers on X: “Grateful for the public workers who keep NYC running — especially in a blizzard. From 5am suhoor with @NYCSanitation to visits to @nycparks’ Randall’s Island garage, DSNY’s Flushing plow shed & @nycdot’s salting operation … it’s working people who show up for NYC.”

Mamdani included four photos, including one of him praying with four Muslim workers from the Department of Sanitation; suhoor is the meal that Muslims eat before dawn during Ramadan, as the fasting period begins with the rising of the sun. He did not, however, bother to explain how observing Ramadan with sanitation workers, or praying with them, did anything to help “keep NYC running.”

Urges political scientists to ‘queer’ their discipline by ‘undoing the cisheteronormative assumptions’

The University of Oxford Department of Politics & International Relations “rounded off” its celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month (February in the U.K.) by interviewing Aylon Cohen, a “departmental lecturer in feminist political theory who’s also written on “queer-feminist theory,” “affect studies,” and “non-human political theory.”

Cohen said he’s currently at work on two “interrelated projects,” one involving “how the criminalization of sodomy and the policing of men’s bodily relations shaped the emergence of fraternity as an political ideal of equality,” and the other on how alleged authoritarian governments “mobilize gender and sexuality as strategies to consolidate power.”

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) released a Spanish-language public service announcement informing illegal aliens that they are eligible for “free” daycare in the city.

In the new video, the two Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) members assure illegal aliens that they can sign up for the program, regardless of immigration status.

At the beginning of the video, Mamdani acknowledged his limited Spanish skills.

“Mi español .. no es el major,” Mamdani said, translating to “my Spanish is not great.”

Last week, the United States Civil Rights Commission (USCCR) hosted public comment sessions on Antisemitism on America’s College and University Campuses.

As was described in presentations by LIF Founder and Director William A. Jacobson and me, Jews on campus are experiencing abuse, in large part, due to the conduct of academic institutions. In particular, intersectionality ideology dominates campus culture in and out of the classroom.

Another “Dead ICE Agents Can’t Kill” flyer was found at Penn State University, prompting the College Republicans and College Democrats to issue a joint statement of condemnation on Saturday.

Found by a member of the Penn State College Republicans, the flyer was hung near the HUB-Robeson Center, a central part of daily life for students at Penn State, according to the statement.

This is the second time that particular flyer has been put up on campus. In early February, Penn State police launched an investigation into the flyer when it first appeared, the Centre Daily Times reported.

Several prominent Senate Democrats are demanding a “path to citizenship” for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients who have criminal records.

Democrats are lamenting the DACA aliens who have been arrested during the first year of President Donald Trump’s second term, even after federal data showed that 92% of those apprehended had criminal histories beyond civil immigration violations.

Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), alongside Sens. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) and Alex Padilla (D-CA), issued a joint statement condemning Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for arresting 261 DACA recipients in the first ten months of 2025.

An under-the-radar primary in North Carolina is gaining national attention after morphing into another competitive battleground for progressives waging war against establishment Democrats, putting incumbent Rep. Valerie Foushee (D-NC) at risk of losing her seat in the state’s bluest district.

The 69-year-old Foushee is facing Durham County Commissioner Nida Allam, a younger, more left-leaning candidate, in the March 3 primary. The congresswoman has been in this position before, defeating the 32-year-old Allam by nine points in the 2022 primary to replace former Rep. David Price.

The office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg declined to charge a 27-year-old male for assaulting police officers at Washington Square Park in New York City.

Gusmane Coulibaly was arrested on Thursday after his picture was circulated on a NYPD tipline for a massive snowball skirmish that happened earlier this week. He was charged with assaulting NYPD officers.

Coulibaly, who was also supposedly an internet personality and wannabe social media influencer known as “Diaperman,” claimed the snowball fight was a prank, according to the New York Post. Notably, Coulibaly was previously arrested on Feb. 6 and charged with attempted robbery at a subway station in the Bronx in New York City.

Last week, a man who allegedly shot the founder of a charity 10 times while he lay in bed with his wife got off without a prison sentence—because the prosecutor, backed by groups funded by Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros, agreed to let him plead not guilty by reason of insanity.

Gret Glyer had founded DonorSee, a charity platform that allowed donors to support specific people while giving video updates to show the donor’s concrete impact. Joshua Danehower, 37, who had gone on one date with Glyer’s wife Heather about 10 years previously, allegedly broke into the family’s house, snuck into the bedroom, and fired 10 shots into Gret Glyer, leaving his wife a widow and his two young children fatherless.

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon is among the defendants named in a civil lawsuit filed by a St. Paul church congregant over the disruption of a worship service on January 18, 2026, at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. The same incident has also resulted in federal criminal charges against Lemon and eight other individuals.

The protest occurred during a Sunday service at Cities Church, a Southern Baptist congregation. Demonstrators entered the sanctuary and began chanting slogans including “ICE out!” and “Justice for Renee Good,” a reference to a local anti-ICE agitator who was shot while attempting to run over a federal agent last month.

Far-left Democrat Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), a member of the progressive “Squad,” is facing backlash after comparing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers to the Ku Klux Klan.

During a recent interview, Pressley accused federal immigration officers of carrying out what she described as a “campaign of terror.”

Pressley has repeatedly accused ICE agents of being “racist.”

“In the same way that the KKK cannot be reformed, another, you know, masked militia group, I do not believe that ICE can be reformed and that this has anything to do with training and protocols,” Pressley said.

The media hall monitors are fond of berating the Bari Weiss-run CBS Evening News as Trump-friendly or “MAGA-coded.” So far, the network has quite easily managed to beat those allegations. Case in point: the former Tiffany network has decided to wade into the fake controversy surrounding the U.S. men’s and women’s Olympic hockey teams.

Wednesday on MS NOW’s “The Briefing,” Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) said Republicans have been allowing “racism in their party for decades.”

Host Jen Psaki said, “You’ve talked about your battle with dyslexia a lot publicly over the years. You wrote a children’s book. And you talk about it a lot in the book in terms of dealing with undiagnosed dyslexia as a child. And MAGA is currently having an absolute meltdown on social media over comments you made on your book tour in Atlanta. And you said, just to remind people, while talking about your experience, you said, I’m like you, I’m a 960 SAT guy. Right wingers and on Twitter and Fox News hosts and some even Republican elected officials have said that’s racist. I mean, what goes through your head when you saw that commentary sort of building and bubbling?”

“For weeks, social media was flooded with these wonderful patriots. Videos of unicyclers, naked bike riders, the guy in the chicken suit, and a whole lot of frogs,” he said.

At an event held by Democrat lawmakers on Tuesday night in protest of the State of the Union, Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon was heard praising the anti-ICE “patriots” of Portland that swarmed the city’s ICE facility after Trump’s announcement that he was deploying troops to protect it.

“The day we heard Trump was deploying troops to Portland, we rushed over to the ICE facility because, based on Trump’s Truth Social, we expected to just see a violent mob. But apparently, one guy in a chicken costume is what Trump considers a war zone.”

“For weeks, social media was flooded with these wonderful patriots. Videos of unicyclers, naked bike riders, the guy in the chicken suit, and a whole lot of frogs,” he added, with people dressed in inflatable frog costumes flanking him on stage.

“No war zone to be found. Friends, when Donald Trump sent his agents to the streets of Portland, we took on authoritarianism ’cause we had the frogs and we won,” he said.

A student believed to be part of an anti-ICE walkout in West Palm Beach, Florida, was hit by a car Monday and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said officers responded to the incident around 12:30 p.m. near the South Wind Plaza on North Military Trail, CBS 12 reported Monday.

The driver remained at the scene, and the young person was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Video footage showed firefighters and police officers surrounding the student, who was lying on the ground as traffic passed. The minor was reportedly a student from Palm Beach Lakes Community High School:

“The minor being struck by a vehicle comes as hundreds of students from at least four Palm Beach County high schools took to the streets in coordinated protest against ICE. The schools involved were reported to be Lake Worth Beach High School, John I. Leonard High School, Royal Palm Beach High School, and Palm Beach Lakes High School,” the CBS article said.

President Joe Biden’s domestic policy chief is promising revenge against the voters, business executives, and appointees who support President Donald Trump’s 2024 election mandate.

“A very prominent public figure, who has served at nearly the very highest levels, once told me … ‘Revenge is best served cold,’ and the older I get, the more I see the wisdom of that,” Susan Rice said in a February 19 video interview by a fellow Democrat.

She added:

When it comes to the elites, you know, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media … it’s not going to end well for them, for those that decided that they would act in their perceived very narrow self-interest, which I would underscore, is very short-term self-interest, and, you know, take a knee to Trump.

On May 6, 2023, the Leaders Academy in Philadelphia posted to its YouTube channel a video of a performance made by students of Palestinian heritage at the academy’s “One Ummah Day” event. In the video, schoolgirls are seen singing and acting out a song praising “brave” Palestinian girls who are the sisters and daughters of “real men.” In one part, the song describes a grandmother who arms her granddaughters with a stone and sells her jewelry in order to purchase firearms. Another part of the song describes a girl sending her brother off to battle and telling him: “I will saddle up your horse, and I will tie a dagger to your belt – enhance your resolve.” The video was also posted to the Facebook page of the Alhidaya Islamic Center in Philadelphia, with which Leaders Academy is affiliated.

It should be noted that the Philadelphia chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS) has previously posted to its Facebook page videos from the Leaders Academy’s “One Ummah Day” events from 2017 and 2019, in which young students sang “Chop off their heads!” and expressed their will to become martyrs for the sake of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. For more information, see MEMRI TV Clips Nos. 7201 and 7194. Following MEMRI’s exposure of these videos, the Facebook page of MAS Philadelphia was suspended, and the Philadelphia chapter no longer appears on the MAS website. See MEMRI Special Dispatch No. 8054 for more information about the public response to these clips. Notably, on May 15, 2019, MAS Philadelphia and Leaders Academy issued a statement saying that a “process” has been put in place to prevent the repetition of such an “unintended mistake”.
