There have been a number of videos posted with loud—and early—calls of submission. Eli Shepherd at RedState: A tweet making the rounds this week shows video of the Islamic call to prayer, the Adhan, echoing through New York City streets at dawn. Five in the morning. Amplified. Projected over neighborhoods that still carry the scars of September 11, 2001. That date is not ancient history. It is living memory…. The Adhan is not ambient background music. It is a declaration. The phrase “Allahu Akbar” means “God is greatest.” It is a theological claim. It is a call to submission. Practicing Muslims understand this. That is not controversial. That is simply fact. Now imagine living in lower Manhattan. Imagine hearing that broadcast before sunrise, rolling through concrete and glass, over a skyline where nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered in an attack carried out in the name of that same phrase. Context matters. Memory matters. And if that memory is ingrained in my mind, being in 6th grade and states away at the time, I can’t imagine where it sits for those in the city (Red State).

On Monday, CBS’s Stephen Colbert alleged that the network forbade him from airing an interview with Texas Senate candidate James Talarico over concerns about a potential FCC equal time rule violation. On Tuesday, CBS denied the allegation and said The Late Show was not prohibited from airing the interview but gave Colbert advice on how equal time could be fulfilled, but The Late Show balked at the suggestions and opted to put the interview on YouTube instead. Later on Tuesday, Colbert declared that CBS’s lawyers know “damn well” that they approved every word he said.

Of the projected $3.3 billion surplus, approximately $569 million would be deposited into the state’s Climate Commitment Account.

On Monday, the Washington State House Democrats voted to raid $4 billion from the law enforcement and firefighter pension plan to cover their deficit caused by out-of-control spending. Democrats in the Washington State House of Representatives have approved House Bill 2034, authorizing the transfer of approximately $2.5 billion, with projections of up to $4 billion over time, from the Law Enforcement Officers’ and Fire Fighters’ (LEOFF) Plan 1 retirement system. The legislation passed on a 55–39 vote, with every Republican voting against it.

The Virginia Supreme Court has just given the insurrectionist DNC state the go-ahead to push a referendum that will effectively cancel 4 U.S. House seats for conservatives. DNC Virginia looks to cement its hold on American soil by effectively making it impossible for non-Democrats to ever win in the state again. The referendum, the new district map, will be voted on starting this March through mid-April. The move followed the GOP’s failure to secure a gerrymandering scheme favorable to their party in Indiana, a state they fully control.

The courts have failed at all levels to recognize the constitutional violations of gerrymandering as a principle, which allows political parties to create geographically unnatural voting districts to assure their party cannot be defeated in a general election ever again. Now, millions of conservatives will be effectively disenfranchised from the voting rolls, taxed without representation. SCOTUS continues to allow this unconstitutional practice.

VA High Court Greenlights Dem Gerrymandering Effort – thefederalist.com

The Virginia Supreme Court handed Democrats a massive win Friday, allowing them to move forward with a redistricting referendum that would gerrymander the commonwealth’s U.S. House districts from five Republicans and six Democrats to one Republican and 10 Democrats.

Democrats have been looking for a way to push through their referendum, despite legal challenges and court rulings saying the efforts are illegal, in time for an April 21 special election that would allow the gerrymandered map to take effect before the November general election.

Early voting is set to start March 6.

If the referendum passes, it would allow the Virginia legislature the authority to redraw the congressional maps, instead of its nonpartisan commission. The nonpartisan commission is relatively new in Virginia, coming into play once since its creation by referendum in 2020. In that case, the commission failed to agree on maps, requiring the state Supreme Court to complete the process.

Despite the failures of the commission, the gerrymandering plan from the Democrats is a mid-decade power-grab aimed at disenfranchising Virginians in order to pad Democrat House seats ahead of a potential U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the Voting Rights Act, which already artificially gave Democrats numerous seats based on racial gerrymandering.

Former Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares and former U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, both Republicans and co-chairs of a group called Virginians for Fair Maps, which is aimed at stopping this process, put out a statement Friday promising further legal challenges.

“Though we firmly believe this referendum is illegal, the court has allowed it to move forward before final judgement. There will be further legal action on this matter,” they said. “All across Virginia, voters are speaking out against this brazen political power grab that allows politicians in Richmond to choose their own voters. It’s wrong, it’s illegal, and it will fail.”

While allowing the special election to move forward, the Virginia Supreme Court bizarrely set itself up to hear the case after the election occurs, meaning there appears to be three potential outcomes: The referendum fails and the case would likely not be heard; the referendum is approved and the court agrees with Democrats, allowing the gerrymander; the referendum is approved and the court agrees with Republicans, throwing it out.

The last scenario is unlikely, since the court would be seen as nullifying a vote.

Republicans are still talking as if things could go their direction, with state House Minority Leader Terry Kilgore, R-Va., saying, “we’re going to make our case to Virginians that this is unfair. This is unprecedented. And, quite frankly it’s against the law we believe.”

State Senate Minority Leader Ryan McDougle, R-Va., said, “Last October, democrats took an unprecedented step to illegally pass a constitutional amendment at the 11th hour. The judiciary agreed, and the Supreme Court has taken up and fast-tracked the case. Make no mistake, the rule of law will prevail.”

But beyond the legal challenges that they could present, the state and national Republican parties, as well as other organizations, face an urgent need to set their sights on a massive get-out-the-vote operation in Virginia.

According to CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, the media covers the Trump administration “fairly and accurately.” If that were true, at least when it comes to her reporting, she would not tell such a blatant lie. This is proven by the fact that the media had zero relevance in the 2024 presidential election.

There are two things easily debunked in the video. First, it’s the claim that, at the very least, she believes she’s fair.

This is what she means when she claims she treats the president “fairly.”

Yeah, that was totally unbiased reporting….

Getting the opportunity to represent one’s country in the Olympics is an incredible honor for any athlete. Sadly, some of this year’s American competitors don’t seem to fully appreciate that point.

Throughout the first week of the 2026 Winter Olympics, several U.S. athletes have happily taken the bait from left-wing “journalists” seeking to get these Americans to trash their nation — and President Trump — on the world stage. In recent weeks, I have watched schools close not because of weather or emergencies, but to push students into anti-ICE protests. Administrators shuttered classrooms, stopped instruction, and mobilized students as pawns for far-left activism. The scandal is not that students have opinions. The scandal is that the same institutions that struggle to teach civics have no trouble organizing political demonstrations as they fail at their most basic job: education.

What makes this so frustrating is not simply the indoctrination aspect of this. It’s knowing how little the student body understands the Constitution, federalism, or even the basic role of law enforcement in a society governed by laws. Yet administrators direct these same students into political demonstrations for an issue they hardly understand.

You might have guessed by now that most of what the national press reports about President Trump’s immigration crackdown and ICE detentions is either intentionally misleading, lacking context, incomplete, or outright false.

Take the latest media outrage over the arrest and detention of an Irishman named Seamus Culleton, a man who arrived in America 17 years ago, is married to an American citizen, lives in Boston, has work authorization and a pending Green Card application. Culleton came here legally in 2009 on a visa waiver program but overstayed the six-month limit. Surely he’s not the kind of person Trump claimed to be targeting violent criminal aliens, the “worst of the worst.” After all, the media said Culleton has no criminal record, and that he’s made a decent life for himself in America.

“Our alliance can be built on, values of democracy and respect for international law.”

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke to students at the Munich Security Conference over the weekend amid speculation that she has her eyes set on the White House in the coming years. As she spoke to German students from TU Berlin at the conference, she told them that Western Culture is “thin,” called essentially for the rise of the “global south,” objected to Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s speech appealing to the shared history, values and culture between the US and Europe, and called whiteness “imaginary.”

During the interview with Isabel Cademartori of the German Bundestag, she said “You are starting to see the ascent of the right, even in places like Munich. Marco Rubio’s speech was a pure appeal to Western culture. My favorite part was when he said that American cowboys came from Spain. I believe the Mexicans and descendants of African enslaved peoples would like to have a word on that.”

She was widely laughed at in the press for this remark, given that there were no horses in the Americas until Christopher Columbus brought them along on his second voyage to the new world in 1493. Just last year, in October 2024, Ocasio-Cortez called to eliminate Columbus Day and replace it with Indigenous People’s Day, which would erase from history the very man who brought the Mexicans horses in the first place.

“But, you know, I think it’s also important to note how thin that foundation is,” Ocasio-Cortez went on in what’s become a viral clip. “Culture is changing. Culture always changed. Culture for the entire history of human civilization, has been a fluid, evolving thing that, that is a response to the conditions that we live in. And so they want to take this mantle of culture at the end of the day, though, is, you know, is very thin.”

Rubio told European leaders on Saturday “For the United States and Europe, we belong together. America was founded 250 years ago, but the roots began here on this continent long before.”

“We are part of one civilization – Western civilization,” Rubio went on to say. “We are bound to one another by the deepest bonds that nations could share, forged by centuries of shared history, Christian faith, culture, heritage, language, ancestry, and the sacrifices our forefathers made together for the common civilization to which we have fallen heir.”

Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks throughout the conference were in opposition to that. In response to Rubio’s elucidation of shared values, Ocasio-Cortez that “the alliance must be built on values and the Alliance and that relationship could either be built on this, a historical, nostalgic, make, whatever that is ‘great again’ idea, and that’s, that’s the Marco Rubio thesis of what the values of the US European Alliance are built on, or our alliance can be built on, values of democracy and respect for international law.”

To the students, she said “And so the response that we have to have is, again, it’s material, it’s class based, it’s common interest,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “There was certainly more openness to what I was saying than probably there would be in years past. We can’t underestimate the appeal of going back to these well worn grooves. A lot of what we talk about when we talk about a class-based internationalist perspective also means ending the hypocrisy towards the global south.”

After railing against “whiteness” for years, Ocasio-Cortez now told students it’s “imaginary.” She told them “There’s a very big difference between whiteness and national like your actual culture, right? Whiteness is an imaginary thing. Being German is real. Being Italian is real. You know, being English, these are rich cultural heritages that are based on values, and they are so much a part of what make our, our cultures and our societies what they are.”

A special agent with the Department of Homeland Security revealed in court documents that leftists who disrupted services at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, made frightening comments to children in the congregation.

The agent said in a Jan. 20 affidavit that the protesters — who interrupted Sunday morning worship because one of the pastors worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement — told children their parents were “Nazis.”

That particular remark allegedly came from William Kelly — who has harassed conservative churches across the country with expletive-laced language.

And that’s why I introduce a bill in the United States Congress to abolish ICE. ICE must be abolished.”

A recent Axios’ headline suggests that crime fell at historic levels in major U.S. cities “despite” Trump’s “crackdown,” not because of it. The headline was designed to protect the criminal press’ narrative that ICE agents are unconstitutional paramilitary Nazis destroying the nation.

To protect that libelous narrative, Americans are being gaslit to believe that somehow ICE agents are still sources of violence, not preventers of it. The readers reacted so overwhelmingly that even the criminal terror outfit Axios had to retreat from its mask-off moment. News Outlet Forced To Delete Anti-Trump Headline After Furious Backlash –  trendingpoliticsnews.com

Axios was forced to delete a social media post after readers erupted over a headline suggesting violent crime fell “despite” President Trump’s crackdown rhetoric, even as new data showed crime dropping sharply across major U.S. cities.

The outlet’s framing triggered swift backlash online, where critics accused Axios of downplaying the possibility that tougher enforcement and rhetoric may have contributed to the decline.

President Trump has spent months hammering Democratic-led cities over lawlessness while defending aggressive federal intervention.

“Chicago is a hellhole right now. Baltimore is a hellhole right now,” Trump said in September. “We have the right to [call in the National Guard] because I have an obligation to protect this country.”

The DNC Insurrectionist State of Virginia is now working on a bill, SB 624, that would criminalize dissent of Sharia, Islamic Law, equating resistance to Sharia as a Hate Crime. Resistant to Islam in general would be deemed “Islamophobia,” which the bill would make a hate crime punishable by imprisonment, and death, should the offender resist arrest.

It is crystal clear that such a bill is an overt violation of our First Amendment rights, so much so that the introduction of the bill should IMMEDIATELY trigger a declaration of a state of insurrection in Virginia by President Trump and a return of Virginia to the American people and away from the Insurrectionist Party now in control and the many insurrectionists that voted for this revolution against the republic.

Virginia’s SB 624: How an “Islamophobia” Bill Could Chill Free Speech – standingforfreedom.com

Virginia State Sen. Saddam Azlan Salim, D, has introduced SB 624, legislation that would enshrine “Islamophobia” into Virginia’s hate crime statutes. The bill defines Islamophobia as “malicious prejudice or hatred directed toward Islam or Muslims” — applying even when the victim is not actually Muslim.SB 624 amends Virginia’s assault and battery laws by creating a statutory definition of “Islamophobia” and mandating that the Virginia Department of State Police incorporate this definition into the state’s hate crime reporting system.

But here’s what makes this particularly troubling: Virginia already has comprehensive hate crime legislation. During Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s term, the legislature passed SB 7, which enhances assault charges for anyone who “intentionally selects the person against whom a simple assault is committed because of his race, religious conviction, gender, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, or ethnic or national origin.”

That bill already covers Muslims.

Witnesses testifying at a House Ways and Means Committee hearing are claiming that foreign nationals are illegally sending millions (if not billions) of dollars to bankroll DNC insurrectionist organizations.

Capital Research Center Scott Walker said of the testimonies, “It’s refreshing to have a hearing where all witnesses share strong agreement on a central point, namely, foreign money should be kept out of American politics. A lot of these [foreign funding] problems involve America’s nonprofit sector, which is traditionally a glory and a strength of this exceptional country. But foreigners abuse this sector — especially tools like fiscal sponsorship and donor-advised funds, which aren’t inherently bad things — in order to hide their influence ops.”

Witnesses Sound The Alarm On Foreigners Bankrolling Leftist Causes In America – The Federalist

Foreign nationals are quietly bankrolling leftist causes throughout the United States, several witnesses told House lawmakers on Tuesday.

After California Governor Gavin Newsome (D) signed an illegal law forcing ICE agents to be unmasked to make it easier for his army of antifa revolutionaries to hunt and murder them, he was immediately shut down by Clinton-appointed U.S. District Judge Christian Snyder. The so-called “No Secret Police” act aims to help the DNC’s secret and street police, ANTIFA, enforce their unconstitutional laws. The judge says the law unfairly discriminates against Federal officers.

The judge did not address the underlying insurrectionist spirit behind the violent law. Attorney General Pam Bondi said of the ruling, “Law enforcement officers risk their lives every day to keep Americans safe, and they do not deserve to be doxed or harassed simply for carrying out their duties. California’s anti-law enforcement policies discriminate against the federal government and are designed to create risk for our agents.”

A federal judge in Los Angeles has issued a preliminary injunction against a California law that sought to prohibit federal immigration agents from wearing masks during enforcement operations.

U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder, who was appointed by President Bill Clinton, ruled Monday that the “No Secret Police Act” (Senate Bill 627) violates the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause by discriminating against federal officers.

The law, which was signed by California Governor Gavin Newsom this past September, banned most law enforcement officers from covering their faces while on duty, with the stated aim of preventing “secret police” tactics and promoting accountability. It initially exempted state and local officers and applied primarily to federal agencies like U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Lyons also condemned rhetoric from public officials against ICE, saying it has “fomented violence against dedicated American patriots defending our homeland, and this must stop.”

“We are facing the deadliest operating environment in our agency’s history,” he told lawmakers.

McIver continued, “Do you think you’re going to hell, Mr. Lyons?”

After a warning from the chair about decorum, McIver said, “I was asking a question. You guys are always talking about religion here and the Bible, I mean, it’s okay for me to ask a question, right?”
