The Department of Homeland Security has announced a handful of “ICE Leakers” within the department have been caught, terminated, and are now being investigated for potential criminal prosecution. In an effort to find more, DHS is deploying a lie detector to question suspected agents.

Noem told Fox News Host Sean Hannity, “I have a couple of them identified that are within DHS. And when I’m able to reveal that with the evidence, I’m going to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, and I’m going to make an example out of them. And just on the way here, I got another notification of another leak. And I can’t do anything without it getting leaked, and that’s why we have to have so many ops all over the country all the time that it doesn’t slow us down.”

The polygraph tests have been taking place for about three weeks, a DHS spokesperson confirmed to CBS News. It wasn’t immediately clear how many employees had already undergone a polygraph.

Authorities in Mexico have discovered an extermination camp run by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) where the drug dealers murdered at least 200 people, if not more.

The agreement that President Donald Trump in January foisted on leftist Venezuelan strongman Nicolas Maduro to accept thousands of Venezuelan air deportees is teetering. Maduro is mad because the Trump administration canceled a license allowing Chevron to operate in the South American country, citing the fact that Maduro has only accepted a few hundred criminal alien Venezuelans.

The Trump administration should let that deal fail and be glad, because it was never needed. Most of the nearly 1 million Venezuelans who illegally crossed the U.S. southern border were living contentedly in more than 20 other peaceful countries for years before they realized the Biden administration would grant them an American lifestyle upgrade. Many Venezuelan migrants were granted U.S. asylum by lying about the fact that they had lived for years already in other safe, welcoming countries.

The Trump administration can readily — and in good conscience — just send them back to these other countries in Latin America and Europe that already accepted them once, and had provided residency, asylum, and work authorization status.

Mexico has begun to deploy 10,000 military troops to its border with the United States as part of the country’s effort to deter illegal immigration and drug smuggling northbound.

Mexico has launched Operative Frontera Norte, Spanish for Operation Northern Border, as part of an effort to bolster security along its northern cities and towns.

The move comes following weekend negotiations with the Trump administration. President Donald Trump demanded Mexico crack down on the movement of fentanyl over the border or face 25% tariffs on goods sent to the U.S. from Mexico.

Mexican army soldiers and National Guard troops were deployed to Mexican border states Baja California, Sonora, and Tamaulipas on Tuesday, according to Mexican military officials who spoke with Reuters.

Within those regions, troops will be sent to Tijuana, across from San Diego, California; Mexicali, across from Calexico; Nogales, across from southeastern Arizona; Nuevo Laredo, across from Laredo, Texas; and Reynosa and Matamoros, which are across the border from the Rio Grande Valley of southeastern Texas.

A memorandum of understanding between the State of Texas and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will give Texas National Guard soldiers the authority to make immigration arrests within the state, Breitbart reports.

“Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the Texas National Guard continue to work together with the Trump Administration to secure the border; stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas; and prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal activity between ports of entry,” a press release from Texas Gov.
