A homeless illegal alien who had previously been deported from the United States on two separate occasions was arrested after stabbing a man on a light rail line in Charlotte, North Carolina. The vicious assault comes as the city is still reeling from the brutal murder of Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee who was fatally stabbed by a homeless man with an extensive criminal history.

Oscar Solarzano was arrested on charges of first-degree attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury, breaking and entering, carrying a concealed weapon and being intoxicated and disruptive, according to a report from the New York Post. He is currently being held without bond.

Solarzano, 33, allegedly charged onto  the Charlotte light rail on Friday evening before viscously stabbing the victim with a large knife, police said. The Honduran illegal alien allegedly broke onto the train, while intoxicated, before starting a fight with the victim and ultimately stabbing him, causing serious injuries,

The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition, ABC News reported. His address on court records matches that of a homeless shelter in Charlotte.

Washington state says it accidentally issued nearly 700 commercial driver’s licenses over the past seven years to non-US citizens who did not qualify to have them. Washington is a so-called “sanctuary state” for illegal immigrants.

The revelation comes as the Evergreen State sits in the crosshairs of the Trump administration’s CDL crackdown following the case of Harjinder Singh, an illegal alien who allegedly made an illegal U-turn in a semi-truck and killed three people in Florida in August. Singh, who crossed the border illegally in 2018, failed the required tests and allegedly did not speak English.

Washington still issued him a commercial driver’s license, which he then used to obtain a California CDL. After the fatal crash, Florida’s attorney general asked the US Supreme Court to permanently bar Washington and California from issuing commercial licenses to noncitizens. Washington has until Jan. 27 to respond.

Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner announced during a press conference in Memphis on Monday that the federal government will be launching a tip-line  that will allow residents to report illegal aliens or wanted criminals residing in public housing units.

“At HUD, we do believe that public housing should be safe. We believe that, and that’s our conviction. A safe community starts with safe housing. If the housing is safe, the community is safe, and we want to take good care of the most vulnerable people in our country,” Turner said while flanked by Attorney General Pam Bondi and Tennessee Governor Bill Lee.

The secretary said the line will allow public housing residents to call the HUD Office of the Inspector General to report “criminals, illegal aliens, sex offenders, human traffickers, and those guilty of gang activity, drug distribution, and fraud.”

It has been revealed that over 30,000 students were absent from classes on Monday in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools District, as US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations increased in the area, according to data from school officials. The situation highlights how American public school systems have been inundated with non-US citizens.

The absences coincide with “Operation Charlotte’s Web,” a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiative launched over the weekend that had already resulted in over 200 detentions across the region. According to WBTV, federal agents made a “record-breaking” 81 arrests on Saturday, with more than 130 illegal immigrants arrested in the first two days of the operation.

The Trump administration is threatening to hit Pennsylvania where it hurts, warning the state it could lose tens of millions in federal dollars after a suspected terrorist managed to snag a commercial truck license.

Federal officials say Pennsylvania broke safety rules by handing out non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s Licenses to foreign nationals who shouldn’t have qualified. In a letter to state leaders, the Department of Transportation said Pennsylvania issued CDLs to migrants without verifying their legal status. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said the agency will withhold $75 million in federal funding unless Harrisburg cleans up its CDL program quickly.

The fight erupted after the arrest of Akhror Bozorov, an illegal migrant from Uzbekistan accused back home of ties to terrorism. Bozorov, who authorities say spread jihadist propaganda online and recruited for extremist groups, picked up a Pennsylvania-issued CDL before immigration agents arrested him this month.

The construction industry’s use of illegal labor force has been revealed by the Trump administration’s “Operation Charlotte’s Web” in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Construction has reportedly come to a near halt in Charlotte as the Trump administration’s immigration campaign remains in full swing.

Reports of stymied construction projects have flooded social media during the first week of the immigration enforcement operation.

A man who claims to be a subcontractor in the construction industry in Charlotte posted a video blasting ICE for chasing off the workers he usually encounters every day.

In other social media posts, Mexican restaurants are closing up shop since so many illegals are no longer out and about in the town. In one, an ice cream shop owner said he has told his Hispanic employees to stay home.

Another man hyperbolically complained that “no one is safe,” despite that immigration agents are only seeking lawbreaking illegals.

One man working at a Charlotte barber shop told agents he became a naturalized U.S. citizen ten years ago, but can’t say it to the agents in English.

Federal Reserve Governor Stephen Miran told Fox News that deportations are slowing inflation.

“A significant amount of the inflation that we experienced for years is because we through millions of new people into the country without sufficiently expanding the housing stock and sufficient expansion of other forms of fixed capital,” Miran said.

The Trump administration’s immigration enforcement operations have expanded to Charlotte, North Carolina.
