The Biden administration is providing immigration judges more access to classified information to assist them in identifying terrorists attempting to infiltrate the U.S., NBC News reported.
Border security has sparked significant concerns in Washington, D.C., where a bipartisan bill aimed at addressing the issue failed for the second time this year Thursday. While immigration judges have always had access to classified info, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) notified officials this month it will no longer enforce a 2004 rule reserving such information for only “last resort” cases, according to a memo obtained by NBC.
